Imagine starting your day with breakfast on the screened porch and then entertaining family and friends for dinner in your private, open-air Living/Dining area with outdoor fireplace and pergola, overlooking a beautiful 20x30-foot gunite pool, with bluestone patio surround.
This gracious colonial-style home features an open-designed floor plan anchored by a spacious Living Room with gas fireplace and French doors that open out to the pool area with an outdoor fireplace and screened porch.
There are two Dining Areas to accommodate casual and formal occasions or to accommodate larger dinner parties. The fully-equipped Chef Kitchen features high-end commercial appliances, a center prep island/breakfast bar and quartz countertops. A Den/Office is located off the main Living Area offering a quiet place to read, watch television or work from home or provide additional sleeping space.
The home features a total of six bedrooms including two, first-floor bedrooms plus three, second-floor bedrooms, each with en suite bath. The Primary Bedroom has a deluxe Master Bath with soaking tub, walk-in glass shower, and double vanity. To round out this attractive Village Compound, there is a detached Carriage House with its second-floor Bedroom with two king beds and en suite bath.
Outdoor living is centered around the newly expanded and enhanced Pool Area. There is an outdoor Living Room with wood burning fireplace, sofa seating, and pergola. There is a second pergola-covered seating area as well for outdoor dining and grill area. The bluestone patio surround has sunning areas and there is also a large screened porch adjacent to the outdoor Living Room.
This beautifully appointed home is an idyllic retreat for gathering family and friends -- and it's conveniently located with easy access to Edgartown Village, island beaches, the bicycle path and more.
POOL NOTE: Pool is heated to 81 degrees and included in the rent for July and August. There is an additional heat surcharge of $250/week in June and September, and $350/week in May and October if pool is open. Pool heat charge is subject to change.
NOTE: Interior fireplace is not available to guest use. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor fireplace.
