About this cottage rental
A perfect spot for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with the family, available year-round. Nestled in a forest of tall pines, this spectacular cottage feels like you're living in the woods but with all the comforts of home!
We are located in a small community cottage area. Guests must respect the quiet landscape and surrounding neighbours. PLEASE NOTE: There is an outdoor security camera located on the front deck.
- Three ample bedrooms plus a loft area your kids will love to sleep in (room for 3 kids)
- High-end kitchen fit for the chef in the family. Well-stocked with spices, small appliances, and cooking utensils
- Sunny breakfast bar
- Large mudroom for all your outdoor gear
- Light-filled living room with cozy woodstove and floor-to-ceiling windows
- Newly renovated washroom
- Screened-in porch where you can enjoy all the sights and sounds of the forest (minus the bugs!)
- Firepit area with plenty of seating
- Large lakeside dock (new in 2022) with plenty of water toys
- Books, puzzles, and board games for the whole family
- TV with Blu-Ray player and Chromecast. Use your streaming accounts to watch your favourite shows and movies
- Satellite internet
Tory Lake is a small, peaceful lake. There are very few motorized watercraft as most residents prefer a quiet paddle. Help yourself to our canoe, kayak, SUP, or pedal boat. Jump off the large dock into the deep, clear water. If you like to fish, the lake is stocked every year with rainbow trout. You'll hear the call of the friendly loons and you might even catch a glimpse of an otter or a beaver out for a swim. Cap off your day with a beautiful sunset and a sky full of stars.
Access to our cottage road is via Lee's Road from Hwy 503. There is no access from Anderson Road, even if your GPS tells you otherwise!
If you're coming in the winter, a vehicle with all-wheel drive or snow tires is a must. The road is cleared by one of the neighbours but it's pretty steep in some places.
A 15-minute drive will get you to the nearest grocery store and LCBO. Plenty of great hiking and cross-country skiing/snowshoeing trails nearby and only 25 minutes to the beautiful town of Haliburton.

The cottage was beautiful and spacious
The weather was extremely hot and we didn’t know how to operate the air conditioning so left a day early. I should have contacted the host about the air but it was just too hot outside to do anything
Grateful to the host for the refund appreciate it
very much
