was a pleasant day and yet still can improvise

all is good, it’s cleaned - shower is nice and bed is comfy

noisy as our room is near to water dispenser and really the other hotel guests couldn’t keep their voice low during night time and early morning, should have respected other guests there and perhaps hotel should put label. the rooms are closed to each other that’s why

The Journey Hotel ist ein super Hotel. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer entsprach genau den Bildern und war sehr, sehr sauber und hat einen angenehm, frischen Geruch. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer mit Fenster waren an der Straße, was mich persönlich jedoch nicht störte. Lautstärke völlig okay.

Im Bad wäre etwas Ablagefläche schön. Sonst alles top.

Really great stay

Very modern fit out, rooms were very very clean.

TV could have had HDMI available as no movie options were there. Really bad smell just outside the hotel, this travelling into the lobby at times. Could look at fans aimed at doors redirecting the smell out. Or also something to counter smell just outside the door (fragant plans like Jasmine, something put into drain).

Overall, I enjoy it!

Location and cleanliness and the accessibility to loads of good food places

Lights on corridors a bit dim and walls are thin you can hear next door night activities haha!!!

The interior design of the hotel looks new and fresh, the toilet also clean and nice

The parking is okay eventhough we went during peak season (school holiday), but have to walk a bit

Below expectation.

Facility is new and clean. Checking in is a breeze and friendly staff.

Room is quite small and without window. Toilet is small especially the shower area which is without door. Parking bay not sufficient and also difficult to get in and out.

Great location, very good value for money

Friendly and helpful ladies at the reception, central location, quiet during the night, water dispenser in the hall, well equipped room with enough space for two

No bed light, so have to get up to turn the lights off, electricity socket only on one side of the bed

The double bed is a little smaller than the average queen-size bed. Sound insolation was poor, we can hear noises from other rooms.

Great location, clean room.

Clean room, in the old city centre where we can walk to nearby attractions in Georgetown and the hotel is more on the quiet side of city centre and less traffic.

Although we stayed in non-smoking rooms, we can smell the smoke as someone who stayed on the same floor was smoking and the smoke came through ventilation system. The staff didnt' seem to communicate well to each other. We requested for late check-out, one staff told us that we can have one-hour late check out but on the next morning, the other staff called and urged us to pack and check out immediately before 12.30.

Cockroach came out of the drain while I was showering. Not what one would expect from a place costing +400 MYR per night.

Well kept hotel but poor sound proofing and would not stay again

Modern hotel and room was clean and tidy.

We did not have a good night’s sleep as the sound proofing was very poor. You could hear people next door and out in the corridor. Also there was a lot of construction noise during the day, coupled with noisy inconsiderate guests. From our 3 night stay we would not return.

Good location

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is also a kettle in the room.

The shower never got hot. The bottom sheet to the bed wasn't fitted, so it kept coming up and exposing the matress.

location is strategic, hotel is clean and easy process to check in & check out

No window in the room and the hotel main entrance is locked at nigt time. we were not informed during check in and it will be an issue if we left the hotel keys in the room

Pleasant stay and would come back again

Good location, staff were very helpful with the WIFI issues I faced. Issues were fixed on the same day. Friendly staff at the reception. Good security, need to tap in with hotel card after a certain timing at night.

Bad soundproofing, could hear neighbours slamming their doors. Could have better slow closers on their doors.

located in the city centre. hard to get parking as i download the apps for parking in penang just to avoid any inconvenience but the facility of property is awesome. helpful staff and nice guard. the room is clean and great service after all.

parking is hard to get, iron place only one at every floor and you can easily being disturb by guest who are walking outside.
