Very clean house. When I sent a message to the host I received an answer rapidly

only 1 car parking, we had 6 adults with 3 cars. needed to find parking for one of them on 2 streets over. We could fit one in the garage but tight and one in front. No fenced in yard only had 2 chairs on the front steps. No mention of xtra cleaning fee for pets. Fortunately they only stayed overnight, and were taken home. It was our first encounter doing this, but would clarify and probably not rent again. Susan did respond quickly when we called her.

I missed reading no towes provide. The parking in the garage could be made easier if they put in a key pad, now you have to unlock from inside and walk down the street to garage and the same to lock.Needs:Pillow Protectors, hangers, dust pan for broom, floor mop and bucket . AlsoProspect is a dead end street with no where to turn around if you park on the street.

This is a nice/clean house with plenty of space! The parking is a little difficult to manage, but everything else is great!

Bathroom had holes in the wall, peeling paint and was very old and dated. Built into the eaves of the house so small. Parking was on a very narrow street on a steep hill. Kitchen not completely clean and some cabinets didn’t close. Bedrooms were fine and comfortable.

We had a great time the home was lovely. The bedrooms were spacious and clean! Close to the beach! quite street. Packing was a little tough to deal with at first, but you get used to it! Over all it was a lovely place that I would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely family and pet friendly spot in OOB!

This is a mixed review. Parking was a nightmare and the cleanliness of the floors were terrible, no fenced in yard as advertised which was one of the main reasons we chose the location for pet. Owner was very responsive but we won’t be back to this particular rental again which is sad since we drive 12 hrs every year for Maine vacation.

Susan was amazingly responsive to any questions I had which is much appreciated! The decor was lovely.

The road was quite narrow and dangerous for kids, but it was nice to be right behind the pavilion that had more space and nice music

This was our first time in Maine and in OOB. Susan was a delight to communicate with. She was super responsive whenever I had a question or concern. The house is nicely decorated and well thought out. The parking is a little tight but you get used to it quickly. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to the beach and quick 20 minute drive to Portland for a day trip. Thanks for hosting us in your wonderful home, Susan.

Great home, convenient location
The home was nice, very comfortable for 5 adults. The location is great. We traveled easily into Portland and Freeport.
The only downside is the shower in the bathroom. It is small and water backs into the tub while showering. Parking is a little difficult, but we made it work.

Enjoyed our stay
Susan, the property owner was very helpful and responsive which is a big positive. The house was clean and updated which did meet our expectations from the listing. This was our first visit to Old Orchard Beach so anyone who who has been there before will understand. The house is located up a moderate hill and although close in proximity to the beach (3/4 mile or so) is not easy walk or bike ride but doable. This is the case for any Old Orchard Beach house in my opinion but the closer to the beach you get the easier to walk too. We ended up driving to most things including the boardwalk area which does have parking (do not let the meters expire, I got a ticket for 20 mins over). Beach parking is harder to find without paying for it. Overall we enjoyed the area after getting used to it. The food is great. The owner is very helpful and active in the area which is really nice, if you are a regular VRBO renter.

Great house and location!
We very much enjoyed this lovely home. It was perfect for our multi-generational family trip. 10 minute walk to the beach and conveniently located less than 10-15 from many fabulous restaurants and attractions. Hosts were very attentive when we had a question about the WiFi. We would certainly stay here again!

I felt the parking situation was not great to deal with but luckily not major issues either.
The bedrooms were nice, one of three did not have a place to hang clothes. I made do with what I had. The shower could have been a nicer if under 5'6" it may have been okay. I understand bringing your own towels but not bath mats or kitchen hand towels. All manageable but things one might not think to bring.

A Home Away from Home
My blended Family of 8 (2 Adults, 6 Kids (7-17yrs)) comfortably called this "home" for one week. It is an enjoyable 10 min max. walk to OOB and really allowed us easy access to other destinations in ME such as Portland & Freeport. The street is a dead-end, steep hill, BUT we were able to easily parallel park both of our vehicles outside the home and back out, as needed (you get used to it quick! lol). The kitchen was well-equipped enough for us to cook some meals for our large family (including a lobster dinner!), all the furniture and bedding throughout is brand-new and really comfortable, decor is tasteful and the neighborhood is quiet & friendly! Property managers were so nice to chat with through VRBO messaging and able to suggest things to do/places to see-Very personable! My family loved our time at this home and the kids didn't want to leave! Only notes: Bring your bathroom linens/towels and the shower leaves a little to be desired (size/height, angled ceiling, slow drain...), but gets the job done (new shower head, lots of hot water). We would stay here again 😊

Great house but not an ideal location.
Great house and everything looked fresh and new. However, we were disappointed with the garage. It was too small & had no way to access unless you went all the way around to the front of the house and down to the basement and manually open. We had day trips planned and generally spent each evening there. The house was very nice. Location and parking were the only concerns.

Family vacation
Great place to stay with family. Close to the beach. The bathroom upstairs may need some fixing as the shower sometimes gave us issue to turn on the over head. Aside from that this home was amazing and we enjoyed our stay.

Updated decor.
Very nice place overall. The shower needs to be fixed, it doesn't go on very easily. The Beach is beautiful! Kitchen is well equipped.
