About this house rental

This cottage was built in 2020 and is luxurious, light and spacious. Set on a large block of land and built next to Govetts Creek, a continually flowing and pristine waterway. The cottage is quiet and private with a northerly and sunny aspect. We have thought of you (our guests) in our design and inclusions. Offering high cathedral ceilings, fully equipped kitchen including a Bosch washing machine and dryer (available on request), gas log fire, lime washed floorboards (no shoes but socks provided), 55 inch TV with Foxtel and Netflix, Wi-Fi, luxurious 2 person bath, separate shower, new king size bed and a 5 x 3 meter covered deck overlooking your own private running creek. Waking up to the sound of the babbling creek is so relaxing and helps you to unwind and let the hustle and bustle of city life be an afterthought. This is a haven for relaxation, reconnection and resetting. In addition we have a natural spring (so bring your water bottles to drink this amazing and pure water).

Imagine arriving at Creek Cottage for your stay on a cold winter’s day to the aroma of a slow cooked home made meal?

The lamps will be on, fire lit, your table will be set and the cottage cosy and warm. Your meal will be ready and all you need to do is pour your drinks.

We offer a small but delicious choice of slow cooked meals for your consideration
* Syrian chicken mild curry with accompaniments and fluffy basmati rice
* vegetarian mild curry with organic vegetables cooked in rich stock with fluffy basmati rice.

If you would like to indulge in a massage, please let us know as we have employed an experienced massage therapist who will come to the cottage for your comfort (you will need to book in advance as she is a busy therapist). 1 hour massage (in house) for women $120, 1 hour massage for men $150 & Facials $95. Please note our massage therapist has 20+ years experience and has Cert IV qualifications in deeply therapeutic/remedial/craniotomy sacral and reflexology treatments.

For other beauty treatments we are aligned with Sanctuary Skin & Beauty in Leura. Again bookings recommended.

Creek Cottage is only 1.4 km to quaint Leura Village with stunning shops, restaurants, bars and transport.

Creek Cottage lived up to expectations. Generous proportions, gorgeously styled, so many extras provided by the hosts - REAL MILK in the fridge, fresh muffins, an abundance of fruit, tea-bags and coffee, chocolates on the bed, gowns behind the door, relaxing bath salts - too many additional pleasures to remember. The ultimate for me, however, was waking up at dawn to the calls of my favourite birds - Magpie, Kookaburra, Butcher bird, Crimson Rosella, English black bird, Currawong and Eastern spine bill. Thanks Kim and Ian for a reminder of what life beyond the metropolis is about.

A lovely and peaceful little cottage in the blue mountains. Interior was really nicely set up. Lovely heating. Great kitchen. Comfortable seating. Good television size. Lovely little creek outside. It was very nice.

We had such a lovely mid week stay at this cottage! Such a perfect location for exploring Leura and its surrounds whilst also feeling like you were away from it all. Everything in the property was perfect and we had a great stay. Thanks again :)

We spent a glorious four days here and loved it. It looks even better than the photos and was perfect for relaxing, cooking meals and exploring Leura and surrounds. Luxurious touches such as comfy king sized bed, big bath with large jar of bath crystals, heated flooring, bathrobes, breakfast supplies and fully equipped kitchen. Lovely quiet surroundings, plenty of space and Kim and Ian even gave us a bottle of bubbles on arrival for our wedding anniversary. Would love to return and would recommend to others. Thanks for a great trip

Creek Cottage is just a magic place to stay and enjoy all the great things the Blue Mountains has to offer. The facilities are excellent and the property super cosy even in winter. Nothing was a problem for our hosts to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Kim gave us some great local knowledge and this enhanced our stay. Property presentation, facilities and location superb. We had the best time at Creek Cottage. The location is perfect to enjoy the Blue Mountains. The cottage is cozy and beautifully decorated. Attention to detail is second to none. Kim and Ian are the best hosts. We enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal as well as a scrumptious grazing board. We have recommended the place to our friends and will be back.

This is my favourite property have stayed in for a weekend away (have stayed on two separate occasions). Is exactly how the property looks in photos, very luxurious inside with a great back deck amongst the trees with a small creek flowing to make you feel secluded in the forest. The extra effort the owner goes to makes the place amazing. The kitchen is stocked with different teas, coffees and breakfast items. The bathroom is fully stocked up to your own bath robes. Both occasions have stayed the place is spotless and looks like you were the first people to ever stay there. Would highly recommend staying here, is very underpriced for the luxury, setting and effort of the owners to make it first class.

We loved staying at Creek Cottage. What a wonderfully calming space it was, decked out with everything you might need and more. Very comfy bed, lovely view into the garden and onto the creek. Leura village is within walking distance (about 15 minutes), yet the cottage is in a very quiet area. Definitely recommend!

This is an amazing cottage perfect for a couples getaway! Cottage is very clean and beautifully designed. Will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends looking for a place to unwind. Also loved the visits from Wilnot the cat ❤️

The cottage is exactly as described on Vrbo. Clean, airy, bright, and very comfortable to stay in. That’s said, the stars of this stay will come from experiencing the kindness and caring approach that Kim and Ian provide to their guests, including me. I wanted to reground myself post retirement in a beautiful and calm place. Kim And Ian could’ve made that more wonderful for me. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend as a little getaway before she gets married. We were so impressed by the style, cleanliness and location as well as the service (heater on, lamps on, home unlocked) after our drive from Sydney. Little muffins and bread were left for us. Loved the creek too. We will be back.

Beautifully presented and immaculate property. Everything was so clean and tidy it really felt like a home away from home. The nice touches like underfloor heating in the bathroom and dishwasher made the stay just that little bit more comfortable. The building itself is new and has all the amenities you could possibly need and its location is perfect. So quiet and peaceful. Sitting on the deck with a relaxing drink with only the sound of the babbling creek and nature to be heard was the perfect end to a day of exploring the bush walks that are so close by. Loved our time here and will be back again.

Excellently appointed cottage. All high quality mod-coms. Gently gurgling brook. Picnic in your own garden. Barbecue on the deck. Very responsive and warm hosts. Anticipate all your needs, or respond very promptly. We’d have no hesitation recommending this cottage to anyone.
