We had a wonderful time at Villa Venus. The rooftop terrace was our favourite place to hang out and relax on the days we were not sightseeing and to rest at the end of the day to watch the sunset. Our favorite activity was the pizza cooking class with our hosts Maria Rosaria, Nunzio and Armando. We enjoyed walking into Termini to get a cappuccino or tea and a cornetto pastry for breakfast ever morning. We found the best way to see some of the towns like Positano Amalfi and Ravello was to hire a private driver in advance.

Our group included 2 couples and two 24 year old daughters. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Venus. Claudio was a great host and answered all our questions via WhatsApp before our arrival and while we were there. He even arranged our boat tour to Amalfi and Positano. The family lives next door so that came in handy when I accidentally pulled the curtain out of the wall. 😬 The dad was over within minutes and had it fixed in no time. Now about the house: the layout is a bit different and there are a lot of stairs but you get used to it after day 2. Top level is an upper deck with stunning views of the water and Capri. The canopy offered great shade and outdoor furniture was comfortable.
Middle level has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bedrooms. Beds were a bit hard and each bedroom only had 2 hangers, but we figured it out. Showers were nice, great water pressure.
Lower level had a fully equipped kitchen, HUGE dining table. There was a 3rd full bathroom down here which came in handy when hanging by the pool. There was also a pull out bed that our daughter used a couple of nights and she said it was pretty comfortable. Pool is the perfect size for cooling off and we loved that there were 6 lounge chairs. All within walking distance of the house: Bar Simone had great pastries, Eughene’s was delicious (we went there twice). Noticed Gocce Di Capri up the hill so went to their restaurant too and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend staying at Villa Venus!

This place was, to put it mildly, awesome. My husband did the driving and it has to be said, it takes a special driver to drive in this area-I couldn't do it (he actually enjoyed it once he got into the "mode")-so thankfully he was able to handle it so that we could stay at this amazing place. There are other ways to get to this area other than driving so don't let that make you hesitate to rent this property. Looks exactly like the pictures-view is outstanding-driveway has a gate so you feel safe although I can't imagine not feeling safe there-very peaceful-they had all the amenities we needed-we did the pizza dinner-fabulous-Claudio was an excellent property manager ( we met his parents-lovely people-) he was very knowledgable and had many great suggestions for food and sights. Restaurants in the area were great-better food than I had in Rome-and a few were walkable as well as the village where you could get basics. I would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic property with amazing views. Super clean, very well-equipped and spacious house. Grocery, butcher, pharmacy and restaurant within walking distance. Parking possible on property.
We were welcomed by Claudio who was very helpful with useful tips about the house and the area. We hope to return.
Thank you, Claudio, Rosaria and family for allowing us to share this amazing place.

We were so happy to find such a perfect spot. Our host, Claudio was thorough and great to communicate with. The house is located in more remote area, away from busy tourist towns.
Small Town square had what we needed. Great jumping off point for Sorrento and Amalfi coast as long as you don't mind the drive. Highly recommend!

We were two couples in our 50's and 60's. The check in process with Claudio was seamless. He is extremely attentive and communicates via WhatsApp.
After meeting us at the village and escorting us to the villa, he gave us the full tour of the place and information on excursions and restaurants. His recommendations were right on point.
The villa has three stories - pool on the lowest level next to an enormous kitchen/dining room area-air conditioned. The 2nd story is where the bedrooms are -air conditioned. The 2nd bathroom (shared by the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms) is a little tight but functional. Warning, the shower is difficult to maneuver if you are a broad/larger person. There are other half baths throughout the property which is very convenient. The top floor is for lounging, having happy hour or just gazing at the gorgeous views of Capri, Ischia and environs. Venturing out is a must. Highly recommend Ristorante Nastro D'Oro. And the Eughenes within walking distance from the villa.
The stairs situation was a concern for us as we had people with knee issues. Though the house had stairs, they were pretty easy to manage and not nearly as many steps as other houses we looked at.
The roads in general are very curvy, and narrow. The road to the house is a bit harrowing but you get used to it. This villa, and Claudio made our visit to the Amalfi coast trouble-free. We recommend this villa, for sure. You won't be disappointed.

Our multi generational family settled in for 6 days in Termini. It was sometimes rainy and cold but we made the best of it, exploring the area, cooking and dining out. We spread out in the poolside kitchen and living area. The huge table was great for meals. The view was over the top. Claudio did his best to help us in every way.

Wonderful villa and host
We had a fantastic stay. Claudio, the host and owner, met us on arrival in Termini to provide some info on the location and bring us to the villa and was always available for advice if needed and even arranged a reservation for us in one of the local restaurants.
Termini is a 30-45 minute bus ride from Sorrento (cheap way to travel there at €1.30 per person) and is quite small but beautiful and was perfect for our stay - there are a couple of great restaurants nearby including Eugenes which is only a 5 minute walk from the villa as is the cafe and mini-market.
The villa is more spacious than we had expected (we are a family of 6 including 4 children between 10 & 18) and was spotlessly clean and very modern with perfect views across to Capri. The pool was also great for us to relax at as it was a particularly warm week.
The beach is about 30 mins walk downhill and is worth the trip however as Claudio suggested, it is definitely recommended that you take the bus back up from Nerano Cantone to Termini!
We had an excellent relaxing stay, helped very much by our friendly host. We would be happy to highly recommend

Superb Property, World-class Views, Wonderful Host
After a fun and challenging drive negotiating the narrow roads and tight turns of the Sorrentine Peninsula, we were met in the small village of Termini by Claudio, our friendly and energetic host. Claudio gave a us a quick overview of our location on the peninsula using the map display in Termini's piazza, describing the nearest towns and things to see. We then followed him to his family's beautiful villa. Note: Via Li Padri , the narrow street on which the villa is located is very narrow, but although we had a fairly large rental vehicle (Skoda Kodiaq SUV) we were able to get in and out without too much trouble. The villa is fantastic. Ample parking and easily accessible down a few steps from the parking area. The vista from the huge terrace is stunning, encompassing the entire coastline from Naples to the tip of the peninsula and highlighted by a matchless view of Capri, which seems close enough to touch. Plenty of room to spread out here.. spacious bedrooms and living areas, two kitchens including Claudio's mother's commercial-grade kitchen on the lower level. We thoroughly enjoyed being at the villa when we were not out on day trips... Sorrento, Pompei, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast-- all were amazing and easily reached from our location by rental car, a ferry to Capri from Sorrento and, in in the case of the Amalfi Coast, by public bus from the train station in Sorrento. At Claudio's recommendation we also made the short hike from a nearby parking area to the Chiesa San Costanzo, a church located on a high hill near the very tip of the peninsula, the views from which are astounding, again featuring an even-closer view of Capri. Be sure to drive down to the pristine little fishing village of Nerano, which is a five minute trip from the villa. We had a truly inspiring seafood lunch there at Ristorante Mary's Beach run by an accommodating and gracious family. Again, at Claudio's suggestion, we also thoroughly enjoyed a terrific traditional Neapolitan dinner at Trattoria Eughenes in Termini, a short walk or very short drive away. All in all, our stay at Villa Venus was highly enjoyable, made even more so by the attentive service provided by Claudio, who is a fine young gentleman and excellent host.
