The hotel is away from the Malecon and has a nice beach access

The food wasn't good. Even at the restaurant. And being so far to the city taking an uber to get dinner adds up. You can't swim in the ocean - I wish someone told me upfront. Also there was loud music every day outside of the hotel.

the room

the food was not good. the sports bar food was disgusting you need to warm it up yourself in a microwave. the elevators take really long and no ac anywhere other than the room. our room ac broke. the toilet wasn’t flushing. the sink was clogged. the Pool water was super hot.

this hotel should not be a 5 star hotel! The hotel rooms can be cleaner. My room was not as clean as it should’ve been.

The location.

The elevators were super super slow and have not ac in them. They are very hot and with o air moving it makes it hard to be in there. It is not ok and people with certain health issues can suffer in those very hot elevators!

I like the view, the area more private, security of the facility, and rooms are clean and comfortable

1)Elevator feels the is not enough so many people, take me 30 to go to lobby from the 7 floor omos every time i use, 2)pool need to some one move the people, bars pool people stay drinking for 4 to 5 hours never get out to go to the bathroom I don't know if they can holder the long, 3)kids pools olso stay to long on the water some kids wearing diapers with number 2 package already 4) need more stores to buy souvenirs good liquor because that one they give us is the cheapest liquor

Don't stay here

Nothing was good

Upon Arrival, Rooms where not Ready. After checking front desk didn't give us any pool towel cards. The elevators didn't have any A/C. The wait time for an elevator was 5-10 min. Th3 food was horrible. The rooms don't come with any shampoo, cream, etc.

Everything was great on my stay, from the room to the views, the facilities, the beach even the food. We’ll recommend 😃

The only complaint that I had is the the beers in the room fridge were banged and dirty like they were taking out of the thrash. I complained at the lobby and they had them replaced right away

The beach and kids play area is awesome.

Staff was rude, wouldn’t take dollars, ny cellphone fell off the balcony and we reported but they refused to gove it back although we saw an employee pick it up. Food was not good at all...

It was a great Stay at Riu Emerald bay!

Food was very tasty, location was perfect, staff were nice, our familiy is very impressed definitely will visit again.

The food in some restaurants were a little cold could have been better since we own a restaurant and the last day we were there at las tres islas restaurant for breakfast the workers i knew right away they were a little lazy we were almost done with eating then the drinks arrived didn't tell us were to sit showing other workers something in there phone etc... But besides that is was perfect.

Very good

The Hotel is nice, super big, there are a lot of green areas and swimming pools, many options of food and bares.

My reservation was for a JUNIOR SUITE with ocean view and they gave us a simple room until 6 pm.... Also, front desk charged me Jr Suite price instead of normal room....

It was full. Too many people. And our room was in the new building which is a far far away walk everyday if you want to go out, there should be another entrance
