Fantastic location, spacious rooms, highly recommend!

Considering the price and the location, this hotel definitely exceeding all expectations. Right off the main square (literally a 2minute walk), this is the perfect spot to stay. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were incredibly spacious, the beds were also very comfortable and the breakfast was nice too!

Not a lot to improve here. The carpark has a 2metre height restriction so unfortunately we couldn't keep our car here as it has a roof box but the hotel team were very helpful in finding me a suitable alternative.

Charmantes Hotel in bester Lage

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt, alles ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal ist unglaublich herzlich, wir wurden sogar auf Deutsch begrüßt und bekamen auch wunderbare Ausflugs- und Veranstltungstipps. Das Frühstück war gut und reichlich. Auf Wunsch wurden frisch Eier zubereitet. Wir empfehlen das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter!

Das Badezimmer ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Trotzdem hat alles funktioniert und ist eher als optischer Mangel zu betrachten.

Heerlijk verblijf in historisch gebouw

Heerlijk ontbijt in leuke zaal. Uitstekende locatie in het centrum en goede parkeermogelijkheden in de buurt.

Hotel heeft geen faciliteiten zoals fitness of bar, maar daar kom je ook niet voor in Brugge. Douchen moest in bad, maar had geen douchegordijn. Alles wordt nat en doucht niet relaxed.

Would certainly book again if we end up in Brugge again!

Excellent staff and service - everyone was so helpful. Brilliant location so close to everything. We all liked the unusual character of the Boterhuis so pleased we stayed here.

Only downside was that a couple of the rooms we booked did not have air conditioning.

Close to center, nice and clean car park

Altough calling before we'll be there at around 22:00, I guess we were there 22:10 and we've waited for 20+ minutes for check-in outside, the ring to call reception from outside was not working. While other guests trying to enter luckily we could enter also. Insufficient breakfast except freshly prepared eggs, no shower in bathrooms is a big problem everyone could not prefer to use bathtub, especially for the 3rd floor room be careful you can hit your head while trying to having a shower

I did not like the fact that in reality there is no parking assured. It says "private parking" but in fact there is no parking available. It was a pain to find a place in the street and then pay very expensive for it. Too bad, otherwise it could be a nice experience.

Excellent hotel for a Bruges city break

Lovely hotel and a very spacious room. Just a few minutes walk to the main square. Lovely continental breakfast with lots of choice. For the price as near to perfection as possible.

Cosy and friendly hotel. very welcoming landlady. Nice room with balcony and inner yard wiews.

Breakfast was good but nowadays there should be also some vegetables included. Steep stairs with too little light.

Good location & polite staff / basic rooms

The location is convenient to go to the old town center and to generally move about in the city. The staff were polite and promptly responsive to any requests. 3-person room was quite spacious and had also a big enough bathroom to go with it.

The photo online was quite misleading when we booked the 3-person room because we expected a room with 2 stories with beautifully exposed beams, but apparently that's a 4-person room. In the 2-person room, a bedside lamp and the telephone didn't work. The setup and the room arrangement seemed a bit off. The overall experience was not bad, but I can't say I'd recommend it.
