Everything about this property and our experience was amazing and exceptional. Our host was extremely responsive with any questions we had. The home is spacious, clean, cozy and well stocked. There isn’t one negative thing I could possibly say. Our intent is to return next year as we all enjoyed our time there immensely!

Very amazing lakefront house with 4 separate suites that can accommodate a large family. Beautiful yard, 2 docks on the lake plus a float to swim to and dive off of. Large dining table in main area, modern kitchen in main area, separate kitchens in all suites, plenty of furnishings, nice beds. The view of the lake from 3 separate floors is amazing. Walking distance to small store and gas station.

We had four families stay. The privacy of the various suites was extremely helpful. Place is well provisioned and very clean. All in all I would recommend it to anyone at any time!

It’s hard to find snow these days in MA so it was nice to see it in Rangeley. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and would recommend it.

Great location for trail access. Property is really nice and having separate space for everyone with their own bathrooms and kitchens was a nice feature. We only wished there was a game room with pool table, darts or something but we found this close by. Owner was easy to communicate with and answered all questions. Thank you for the hospitality

Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with our family. I wouldn’t give the weather a “10”, but your place allowed us to have a fun and enjoyable week regardless. From swimming, boating, seeing a bald eagle, lawn games, kayaking, paddle boarding, board games, cooking, trips to Rangeley and Oquossoc, hiking, and just spreading out to do our own thing, we truly enjoyed our week. And the owner, Rick, was very responsive and a joy to work with. We will return if the opportunity arises. Thank you again.

The house was perfect for the whole family! The kids loved to have their own rooms! There were lots of great amenities as well as own spaces for each separate family. We could bike to the local store with the kids so the location was very safe and off the main road. Having the 2 docks was also great so the kids could swim at one and our boat could be at the other.

Truly a great lakefront getaway in a gorgeous part of Maine. Went for a long weekend with a group of friends and had an amazing stay. The beds were comfortable and slept 14 of us easily. The backyard is huge with easy access to kayaks and paddle boards to go explore Rangeley Lake. The firepit was also a nice touch and a great deck overlooks it all with beautiful views out over the water. Highly, highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay! The house is in such a great location. We walked to restaurants and saw deer leaping on the frozen lake. Can’t wait to come back!

"Beneath The Moon" is an excellent property which exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect for our large group with most having their bedrooms and private baths which was something that was really important to my group. The house is large and comfortable and has all the amenities you would need. We've stayed at houses before and always needed to bring extra glassware, cooking utensils, towels etc. but this place has everything, and cleanliness was perfect!! The home owner was very accommodating and made sure we had all the information we would need up front. There's plenty of parking for trucks and trailers and there was easy access to the lake to be able to snowmobile right from the house. The house is also perfectly situated close to town for restaurants and a small general store that has just about everything you would need including great sandwiches for the long day of riding!! I would love to see this place in the summer. Ready to book it for next year. Thanks Rick!!

This property is perfect for large groups. Having multiple bathrooms and suites for bedrooms is a game changer. Location was perfect - you are close enough to ski access and town but still feel as you are in the woods. The scenery in the area is off the charts. The decor of the house is perfect for the area. Would definitely be back. The chairs are very comfortable- especially the recliners in the basement level suite.

The property was awesome, plenty of rooms and places to sleep, complete with a apartment over the garage. The location was great, very close to the marina where we rented a boat, and we're able to dock it at 1 of the 2 docks on the property. If you're looking for a weekend getaway on the lake with a bunch of people this is a great spot for it.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place, the house was perfect for our needs, plenty of space and the house was well stocked and had everything we could have needed. The yard was large with all the fun things you would want, fire pit, wood, decks, kayaks, hammock, it was perfect.
The owner was easy to reach and very accommodating.
We all loved this house and will definitely come back.

Everything about our stay was perfect. This large home was immaculate and extremely well-maintained. We were amazed at how well-equipped the rooms were, especially the kitchen. The house is spread out among several areas which makes it ideal for a family to be able to have their own space. The location was beautiful - we rented a boat for the week which was awesome and so much fun. It was extremely hot the last couple of days and though some rooms have a/c, it would be nice if there was a/c on the second level. Rick was great to work with and so responsive to our questions throughout the whole process. We hope to someday return to this beautiful place. Highly recommend this wonderful vacation home!

Wonderful Stay
Absolutely loved this rental house. Never stayed at a rental house before because I didn’t think the cleanliness/amenities could live up to what we enjoy on vacation. But this property was beautiful and clean and had everything we could have wanted. And Rick was a pleasure! Would definitely recommend!

This property was perfect for our group of 10 . The house had enough space to spread out and have quiet time . The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for the week . There were 3 kitchen areas each equipped with a refrigerator, sink , coffee maker etc . There is one coffee machine in the main kitchen that had a Keurig option . Each shower also had a new bar of soap in the box and a bottle of shampoo . I would suggest bringing additional towels as the owners supply one per person plus some hand towels and there were no towels to be used as a bath mat on the floor . The gas fireplace kept the house toasty warm . There was also two sets of washer / dryers . One in the basement and the other in the garage which was convenient for our two families to simultaneously do laundry . We would consider returning to this home in the future ! I would love to see it in the spring / summer when the snow thaws .

"Beneath the Moon" is Awesome!!
The property and location was fantastic! There is plenty of room for a large family or small groups. The house is very well appointed with all amenities necessary to enjoy your vacation. Beautifully decorated, awesome views and very comfortable. Excellent for swimming, fishing, water sports etc. The kids loved the two big stable docks and the swimming platform.
Very close to the quaint little town of Oquossoc which has everything we needed for supplies.
Rick is a great host! Great communication, prompt responses and he provided us with all the information we needed regarding the property and surrounding vicinity.
I would go back in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our week with family and friends. The home was very well appointed with great spaces for cooking and hanging out.. There was also space for those of us who had to “sign on” to work remotely. We hiked nearby Bald Mtn, dined out in the local restaurants, and watched ducks, geese, loons and even a bald eagle from the lovely new docks. Rick, thank you for sharing such a lovely home. Truly a 4 season location.

This lake house was beautiful, the property immaculate, and the view, well, it was simply gorgeous!! Our family of eleven (seven adults, two teenagers, and two little girls) spent a week at this lake house in mid-July and had a wonderful time (despite the frequent rains). The location of the property on the southwest corner of the lake was perfect as it offered stunning lake views to the east yet was only about half a mile to the restaurants, shopping, marina, museum, and other services offered in the quaint village of Ocuossoc. The layout of the house easily accommodated our large family as we allocated five to the main house (two upstairs, two on the first floor, and one in the fully finished basement), four to the spacious living space over the garage, and two to the living space above the detached garage with the awesome walk-out deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed a number of meals on the huge deck on the main house that overlooked the lake. Grills were available on this deck as well as down near the fire pit by the water's edge. The two like-new docks on the water were perfect for swimming, sunbathing, reading in the sun, or docking your boat. The kids had a blast playing on the swimming platform about fifteen yards from the docks. The gorgeous and warm interior of the house, with the post & beam structure and gas-fired fireplace, was a perfect setting for family activities during rainy days. The kitchen in the main house and the kitchenettes in the other living spaces were perfect and came with all of the associated dishes, utensils, and cookware. A generous supply of towels was made available for use by the owner and we had free access to a washer and dryer in the finished basement. Each living space also had flat screen cable televisions and board games for great family entertainment. We took advantage of the outside fire pit and the free access to the pile of split firewood and had a wonderful evening sitting by the fire making smores, listening to the loons, and telling stories. It was a big hit! We enjoyed the daily visits by the ducks and Canada geese and were thrilled to have a bald eagle swing by for a visit. We also hiked to the top of nearby Bald Mountain and were treated to spectacular views of the region from the top of the fire tower. We would wholeheartedly recommend this lake house to any family seeking a wonderful location for a summer or winter retreat!

Beautiful home, land and fantastic lakefront location!
Total of 8 (4 adults and 4 college aged kids) first time visit to Rangeley area for our July 4th vacation.
House is BEAUTIFUL and we had more than enough space for all of us. Very comfortable, well maintained, immaculately cleaned, very well stocked home.
Location is gorgeous with large grassy yard, two separate new docks, new floating swim up dock, firepit area overlooking water, gas grill on large deck with piped in propane and just down the street to marina/public boat launch.
Husbands brought their bass boats for fishing but only caught 1 trout and 1 salmon as they later learned lake is not known for bass fishing. Guys ended up taking 2 day trips (about an hour long drive) to Umbagog lake which turned out to be the highlight of their trip as lake is gorgeous and they caught plenty of bass.
Rangeley area very quiet with small downtown near property.
Thank you Rick for being a great host and always being readily available/prompt responses to any of our questions.

Amazing location and great accomodations
We just had a terrific trip to the Rangeley region of Maine. The house was in great shape and was a great home for two families, 10 total with kids ranging from 6-14. Tons to do around Rangeley: snowmobile, cross country ski, downhill ski and fat tire biking. Rick was super responsive and the house was exactly as advertised. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
