Location
All old

Around 00.45 some really loud people entered the hotel, screaming and throwing with doors. As I stayed here with my 9 year old, it was a very scarry experience in not in a good way. We felt very unsafe.
3.1
The best location possible, very central
3.1
Very central
comfortable bed
Very small room. Bedsheets even though looked fresh, still had some hairs on them - I assume they use not so good loundry services. I confirm previous comments about bad smell from the toilet. Extremely loud at night when people go back from parties (on Saturday), doors are very old and work very loud...i woke up few times.
All in all it was OK for the price and location, I would rather recommend only if you plan to have a short stay.

Location is very good. One minute to center.
Rooms are very smal

perfect location next to Stanislas
super tiny room

Excellent location.just 250 metres from main square, and 10 minutes walk from railway station.

Super location: short walk to central square
tiny rooms, tinier bathrooms

To find basic but decent single-room accomodation smack in the centre of a super-attractive French city for 41 euros is almost unheard of these days! Don't come here if you expect luxury, but if you just need a shower and a bed, it's very good value indeed.

Great .

Superb location. Quiet street just off Stanislas square. The hotel had a secure courtyard for our bikes and even covered them with a sheet to keep the pigeons off!
No complaints - sorry!

The room was clean, bed well made but there is a need for a trash can in the room other than the one in the toilet. There was passers-by noise and sounds from moving cars but did not make me uncomfortable. It seems there is no elevator, so it was stressful to take my heavy luggage upstairs. The male dark complexioned receptionist was kind and respectful.
If there is an elevator.

Emplacement super . Central mais calme

The sewage smelled incredibly strong and bad. As there was no proper door between the room and the bathroom, only a sliding plastic system with wholes at the top, all the bad smell entered the room.
To mask the sweage smell, they were pomping some flowery syntethic odhor that was so strong, it would make my eyes water. I had to sleep with open windows until it got too cold. Then i would repeat waking up to refresh the room, but the smell would never cease.
The materas was springy and felt slightly uncomfortable. Yet the smell was the one making me return to the room. Also the hallways smelled the same and the entranced was the most heavily pumped with the pungent flowery chemical. It just felt sooo unhealthy and nasty.
Never again in my life!

Very close to the historical areas.
Room was a bit small.

This hotel is a bit of a surprise. 2 stars with 4 star equipment.
Seems a bit old from outside. Reception a bit basic. Stairs only, no lift. But with the quality of these large rooms what does that matter?
3.1
The price was good (68€) and the hotel ideally located at only a couple of 100 metres away from place Stanislas
The room was tiny but clean
Some staff were really welcoming but others not so: I had left part of my luggage for late pick up the following day and when I returned I was (quite rudly ) denied access to a lavatory as I was « no longer a guest of the hotel » - probably they don’t have the facility but still
No hair dryer in the room and a smell from the bathroom (due to the hotel being quite old probably?)
For a one night stay I guess it was a good deal in the end
3.1
Prettige stopover, pretentieloos maar schoon. Valse for money
3.1
A lot of noise at night
