Thank god i am home

The smell hit you as soon as you walked in, table and kitchen worktop had to be washed down by us, coffee table too. On the veranda was a cup full of old cigarette ends, the carpets and rugs were grubby and i won`t go on about the toilet area, there wasn`t even a toilet roll left for us to use, not even so much as a dishcloth or tea towel, we went out and bought our own and considering how much i was charged i don`t think it would have been too much to ask for. As i say, thank god i am home.

Very poor

What I liked it was only 15 minutes walk to fantasy island

The caravan was dirty all u could smell was dog so had to clean it. the sofa and chairs felt damp 1st thing when u got out of bed the electrics keept tripping so had to go out side to the box will not use them again

Disappointing

Close to where we wanted to be.

The boiler didn't work when we arrived, we had to light it with a lighter to get hot water. No recent gas check available, I did request a copy. Door handles in kitchen all loose. Handles on saucepans all loose. Although the property was clean on the surface, it needs a deep clean. There is lots of wear and tear in the caravan, surfaces peeling away on dining table, mould in the bathroom. No blind in the bathroom or curtain on 1 door. Although the caravan was pleasant enough for the weekend, it could definitely do with a new boiler and revamp.

Double booked wasn’t a great start…

First of all the caravan advertised was not the caravan we stayed at, it wasn’t even on the caravan park advertised. So unable to leave a review for listed caravan

First of all the caravan advertised was not the caravan we stayed at, it wasn’t even on the caravan park advertised. We were double booked moved to a completely new caravan park in a smaller caravan that wasn’t suitable on the golden sands caravan park. We were then moved to another caravan which we had to wait again for until it was ‘cleaned’. We then were told this was a caravan where somebody was living and they’d just moved out, leaving all their possessions on shelves and in drawers and leaving us very little space for our things. We eventually moved our clothes into caravan at 1830 after arriving at 1400. The caravan was grubby and not cleaned to high standard at all. There seemed to be an awful lot of flies in the caravan which we sprayed and killed before leaving to go to the beach. 4 hours later we returned and there were twice as many as before. And this happened all way through our stay. The cups plates and utensils were filthy. The toilet seat loose and fell off. The fridge was rusty on the outside and the oven was in a poor state. The location of the park was ok, close to beach and entertainment. That is the only real positive I can leave for the caravan we stayed in. Very disappointed after the stressful 18 months we’ve all endured due to covid and would not recommend this to any body.
