Upon entering house seemed clean. When my daughter went to get a bath the bathtubs had dead and live spiders in them . If it had been cleaned prior spiders would not have been in the tubs. The bedrooms also had scorpions in them. We left after just 4.5 hours of being there. I did get a partial refund , however should have got a full refund . That was the most expensive 4.5 hour visit I have ever had.. Outdoor stairs are ridiculously not code. Needs weeded around outside which could be the reason why they have scorpions. It does have a nice view and a dock that we never made it down to see..Management was very responsive to emails and was apologetic for our experience.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Bridge Lake House. It was very relaxing. The check in was easy. There were a few items we had to contact the management about but they responded quickly. The outside area where a table was had not been cleaned before our arrival but we let management know and again they were very receptive.

Most all good except for the TV conundrum and stairs. Kinda tough on us older folks. But I would recommend it to others.

Our stay was great with enough room to comfortably sleep five people and a small dog. The view of the lake was beautiful from the house and it was in a fairly quiet neighborhood. The private dock was nice with plenty of room for parking our boat.
Everything was clean, except for the grill on the porch. It was in pretty rough shape prior to us getting there and the pilot to light it did not work. The only other issue was there was a little dog next door that was a little yippy and barked quite frequently but we were able to manage.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay with a gorgeous view and we would probably stay again!

We just returned from an amazing extended weekend on Lake Weiss. This property is lakefront, with beautiful views from two levels. The house had a well stocked and recently remodeled kitchen, and a spacious open floor plan that was perfect for our family. We enjoyed coffee every morning out on the screened in porch that overlooked the lake, and sat out on the dock each evening to star gaze. This modest but beautiful lake house has all the basics to ensure a memorable family trip! We highly recommend this property, and will definitely be back!

The home was beautiful, the view of the lake was just as beautiful. Clean, well managed and had everything we needed.

There was a lot to like about this property. The screened porch was a favorite place to view the lake without the bugs. We had plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 teens. Lots of TVs so everyone could watch what they wanted to watch. Private dock was nice and there’s a private boat ramp. It’s about a 10 min drive to Piggly Wiggly (groceries) and about 5-7 mins further to Walmart. The kitchen was well stocked and the large island was great.
There is a road between the house and the water. This wasn’t clear in the description and it wasn’t a huge deal but it was different than expected. The biggest thing was a neighbors dog that kept coming into the yard and up to the house barking and setting off our dog. Lastly, the stairs going from the upstairs to the downstairs bedrooms were unusually shallow which we finally got used to but it was an initial safety issue with multiple people almost falling down the stairs.
Overall, this is a nice and clean property and would be excellent for those coming to bring a boat and fish. The best time for fishing is Oct-Mar.

Master bedroom mattress was awful. Got bitten by bugs in my sleep.
This property is pretty isolated. I would say this property is overpriced.

Great place to spend some time with family, or just to get away if one wanted to. We went in July and the house stayed a comfortable 72 degrees. There was a Wal-Mart within reasonable travel. We really loved the screened in patio setup and the large living area. We would stay here again for sure. No complaints.

Thank you for sharing your property with us. It was a central location for three couples wanting to enjoy a long weekend at the lake. We had perfect weather and enjoyed our time together. The private dock and boat ramp were easy to access, and the available parking for two boats was a huge perk. The screened in porch was wonderful for an early morning cup of coffee with a nice view of the water.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The beds are perfect and the view of the lake is amazing. One note for those who like air circulation in the bedroom for sleeping, you may want to bring a fan as there are no ceiling fans. Great experience overall and they have a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig. The host gives you some K-Cup pods so you have coffee your first morning. Very thoughtful.

This property was just as advertised. The Weiss Lake location was quiet and peaceful. We stayed with two other adult couples. Plenty of space to spread out upstairs in the spacious common area for three couples.
Made use of the programmable coffee pot for coffee ready each morning just like home. Made use of the large kitchen island for games and the large wrap around couch saw plenty of use for watching football and hanging out. The deck outside allows beautiful views of the lake. Saw deer behind the house each day.
One thing you would want to be aware of if you have family members that have difficulty with stairs. This may not be the rental for you. There is a ground level entry which would be helpful but to get to the second level would require you to use the outside stairs or the inside stairs, both of which are somewhat steep.
Just some FYI for the owner who by the way was helpful and responsive throughout the rental process.
Would definitely put some type of motion light on the exterior we arrived at night and it was very difficult initially to find and see the upstairs key box, etc.
Would hire a company to do some exterior cleaning at least in the windows. There were many spiderwebs for instance in the upstairs bathroom and wasps in the deck area, which we took care of with no issue.
Would also hire somebody to blow the driveway off once in a while we actually had to do it because the pine straw was so thick and wet. It was difficult to get up the driveway. Not sure if it was intentional but the blower that was there was very nice for us to be able to use.
Would also recommend some blinds in the bathrooms even though it is private property I know the ladies would’ve felt better with being able to pull blinds in the bathroom.
Obviously, not a dealbreaker for us and we understand spiderwebs happen. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would do it again in the same house.

My husband and I enjoyed the fully stocked home. We had everything we needed. The view was wonderful. So quiet. Close to Georgia where we enjoyed golf at Stonebridge and lunch at Sam’s Burger and Deli which honors Vets. We explored Cave Spring GA. We hope to make this an annual trip

First, overall a good place.
My bigest concern was the stairs.
I am a contractor and have to be aware of the claimpance of the stairs as far as handicap and safety.
The treads, ( the flat part ) of the steps are too short. Should be at LEAST 11 inches and shoud be more like 12 inches. I wear size 12 shoes and 2 1/2 inches of the bacl of my shoe was hanging over the tread.
The top step os only 2 inches and would be considered a trip hazard by code.
Additionally the grab rails are supposed to be continious from the top to the bottom, past the first and last step. That os probably the most potential dangerious .
Coming up from the ground on the stairs to the left side the top rail is very loose and needs to be reattached. Just maintance type stuff!
Again overall good place and enjoyed the weekend!!

It was so much fun.
The house was so clean, beautiful and convenient for all of us. We had a really great time and stayed on the Lake most of the time with the kids.. We loved the deer in our yard and the turkeys running around. It was a perfect get away for us.

We loved our time at this property. It was clean and had everything you needed. It was well maintained. Loved the screened in porch with the view of the lake. We swam off the dock and enjoyed multiple trips on the boat. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of linens. Great Lake house and great location on the lake and close to travel up Little River.

Very relaxing, very roomy. The only thing that may be negative is the fireplace, the flu was open and the room got a little smokey.

Just like advertised!
The place was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. Everything was clean and smelled really good. The beds were comfortable, the appliances all worked. If I had one complaint it would be the internet. If you're looking to go to a remote beautiful place to work overlooking the lake... this isn't the place for that. The internet speed of 2M was not even enough to get the tvs working properly or to do absolutely anything thay wasnt just receive and send messages. Which is hard enough as there's barely any signal to be had. Thankfully we had a lot of board games with us so we managed. We had a great time and would return!

Great stay in Cedar Bluff, AL.
The property is great. Our only problem was with the tv in the living room. The volume could not be turned down and it was so loud we were afraid the neighbors would be annoyed. I think the battery in the remote for the "bar" could be dead.

Stunning Sunsets
-Ours was a fall visit. For a quiet retreat & a tour of the lake & the bluffs overlooking the canyons. Cabin has a beautiful panoramic view of the lake with stunning sunsets.
-Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the sunsets as we expected because there is a neighboring property with a cute little dog that barks (like clockwork) from 4:45pm until sunset (approximately 1 1/2 hours.) Non-stop barking. Every day. This same cute little dog visited the cabin property often, leaving deposits in the yard. He was friendly enough, but anyone visiting with a dog, should be aware.
- Also, a tree service under contract with the power company was trimming trees (over the power lines) every day, chain sawing & chipping throughout the day. One day, they anchored the bucket truck in the driveway of the cabin for what was to be the duration of 1/2-hour, but turned into 4-hours, which included trimming, a coffee break, and a lunch break. There was no way to leave the property during that time.
-The facility is well accommodated with all essential needs. There is a gas grill which was nice as we prepared all of our meals at the cabin. (The grill needs to be cleaned & possibly some parts replacement.)
-The stairs inside & out are tricky. If visiting with children, bring child gates for their safety.

Enjoyable getaway
Really enjoyed our stay! Main level updated nicely and home is clean. Loved fishing from pier. The steps outside and stairs inside were steep. We found that this property would not be suitable for the physically impaired.

Fantastic Place
We had a great time at this fantastic Lake House!! It rained the whole weekend. But we were still able to enjoy the lake view on the large screened in porch. This is a large beautiful home, and our family made lots of great memories there.

Lakeside Vacation
We enjoyed this well appointed cabin with a spacious upstairs living area that included a screened in porch overlooked the lake.
One place for improvement would be the deck. It was very old with rough wood and our kids got splinters. Also there was no ladder to climb out.

Beautiful home and location
Myself and my family really enjoyed staying here! The main living area was very accommodating and the view was wonderful and relaxing! Since we came here to fish. We really enjoyed all of the kitchen amenities given the fact that we cooked most of our meals. We have found that very hard to find in previous homes in which we have stayed. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

We enjoyed our 7 night stay! The house is great, clean, and had excellent views with an open floor plan. There are TVs in every room with Roku, so you can access your Netflix etc. The owners/managers were also happy to address our minor concerns throughout our stay. The screened in porch was awesome, and the house had VERY large windows allowing excellent views from almost everywhere in the house. Be sure to ask about the kayak rental option. As with a previous guest, I somehow overlooked that there was a road running between the house and the dock when booking. It was not a major concern for us, as our kids have learned to look both ways and the traffic was light (ages 6, 8 and 9). The beds were a bit firmer than we are accustomed to, but we slept fine. Also, be aware that there are somewhat steeper-than-average stairs leading from the first floor to the second floor, so people who have trouble getting around may struggle.

Out biggest complaint was the smell and the mattresses. I’m not sure if we were the first guests in awhile but the smell upon entering was stale and unpleasant. I immediately went to the nearest store and bought candles. Another thing we noticed right off is that this property is across the street from the lake. I may have missed that in the details, but from the photos provided, I assumed we would be right on the lake. It wasn’t a far walk at all but with 2 small kids we were constantly worried about the road in the front yard!My next biggest complaint was the quality of the mattresses... we’re in our 30’s and didn’t sleep great on them. My husband actually slept on the couch the 2nd night because his back was hurting. If you do stay in this rental bring every little thing you need. We’ve always stayed in Vrbo’s so I packed like I have the other trips. There weren’t any wash cloths, small sized travel soaps/shampoos etc , not even a salt and pepper set ( I left the set I purchased so maybe it will stay) and we were provided HALF a roll of paper towels. Overall I gave it 3 stars because the screened in porch was great, the open living room and kitchen was great for a family and my son enjoyed the bunk bed. The grill was also a nice amenity. The location was close to a lot of area hiking and state parks. The view from the upstairs was very nice as well.
