The house layout is perfect for two different families, first floor offers living/dinning room with kitchen, two bedrooms, one bath. Second floor offers Master Bedroom Suite with soaking tub and fireplace. Upstairs great room with vaulted ceilings, spectacular ocean views, fireplace, separate bedroom and bathroom. Beautiful location, marvelous, well furnished house. The house was very convenient to the wedding venue and local attractions. Pete, the manager was very gracious and informative. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed our stay immensely. I would recommend this property to any family.

The host and property manager were great to work with and very responsive to any questions. The house was perfect for our stay! We had 8 women and plenty of room. The house was in a good neighborhood, very clean, well appointed, comfortable beds, fresh linens, had everything we needed (plus some). And the ocean view was fantastic! It was also a great location to get to all our attractions and restaurants. All the girls said this was a 100% 5 star stay. Many thanks to the host and property manager.

Nice property. Enjoyed view of ocean from deck. Rooms bathrooms were spacious and clean. Great location to everything, short Uber ride.to most tourist attractions.. Enjoyed walking in neighborhood. Our group would have liked to have better seating options on the upper deck for sunset watching. Overall we enjoyed the home.. great location, lovely neighborhood. Thank you for everything.

Our family was in town for our daughters graduation from SDSU. The home had everything our party of 6 needed. Great location, close to everything you'd want to visit or do in SD. The amazing views of the pacific from the second floor deck were as advertised. You cannot go wrong staying at this beautiful home.

The views at your home were spectacular! For our group the space was exactly what we needed. The upstairs family room was a nice second area for us to hang out. My only negative was the first time we used the downstairs bathroom it had plumbing issues - the bathroom sink would not drain and then the bath drain backed up. The Property Manager and a plumber came out and worked on it, the plumber said he did what he could and we should be able to use it but would need to come back once we left. The next day it backed up again and when I texted the Property Manager his response was “at least you have 2 other bathrooms to use”. Which is true but we choose the house for 3 bathrooms for the size of the group. All else was good!

Our family of 7 adults stayed for 5 days for a family reunion. Everything in the place was exactly as pictured and described. The place was spotlessly clean and easily accommodated all of us, was well appointed and very comfortable. The location was great, with ocean views on both sides, plenty of parking, and easy walk to the waterfront. The Ocean Beech strip is about 30 minute walk, or 3 min drive. Would highly recommend it!

We loved this house - great for large groups - so much room! Central location and beautiful views of the ocean. This was my first experience with VRBO and I couldn’t be happier!!! Owners were so easy to communicate with. It made an extended family vacation that much better!

My family had a great stay in San Diego for Spring Break. The property was fantastic, and conveniently located to a lot of attractions (beaches, bay, zoo, downtown were all just a short drive). It was also quiet neighborhood and the house was well appointed with all the things we needed for cooking meals, laundry, etc. The property managers responded quickly and it was a beautiful location. I would definitely stay there again.

The house and location of this property made our vacation more than special. We stayed one week at the beautiful property but we wish it could have been longer. The house was so warm and welcoming with each room wonderfully decorated. The views are spectacular. In particular, the view from the upper deck out to the water was more than I had hoped. We sat and watched the sunset and didn't want it to end. We are a family of five, my husband and I, our daughter and son-in-law, and our 22 year old granddaughter. With two spacious sitting rooms we could gather together in either one or have solitude. Every bedroom had a TV plus the two in the sitting rooms. The dining table was perfect for our group to spread out and enjoy several great take out meals. The kitchen is a cook's dream, fully equipped, although we didn't do much cooking. The bathrooms were fully stocked. The neighborhood is beautiful and great for the walkers in our family. Thank you, Dana and Richard, for offering this terrific home for our vacation. Thank you, Pete, for helping us get settled. We will be talking about this experience for a long time.

We rented this lovely home as a landing place for my 90 plus year old parents and my brothers, for a family rememberance. The location is wonderful, close to the airport and downtown San Diego. The house itself is very cozy with a small family room downstairs and large upstairs family room with a big comfy sofa and incredible view of the ocean. Richard the host was very welcoming and very accessible via text. Highly recommend this home!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Richard & Dana's home while we were in town for a wedding. There was plenty of space for us to hang out and enjoy each other's company. The house was equipped with everything you might need in the kitchens, bathrooms, and even had towels and chairs for the beach. Each bedroom has a smart TV, as well as the common spaces. We loved hanging out on the deck in the evenings and watching the sunset from the top porch. This location is a bit difficult if you do not have a car (the hills are brutal to walk up after a long day!). However, it's a lovely (& very quiet) neighborhood to walk around in. Would stay here again!

Lovely home in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The house was perfect for our long weekend in San Diego. Close to Liberty Station, Shelter Island and a little walk through the neighborhood down to the water - if you wanted to go on a long walk, you can walk along the beachfront on a rugged trail, paved in some areas - I'm not sure what the name is, but there are points along the way with some beach access to the water after a little climb down.

We had a wonderful time staying at their beautiful, immaculate home. You get an almost 180 degree view of the ocean from the second floor. The house is clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need, especially the kitchen with it’s appliances and newer pots and pans. Richard was very responsive and accommodating, and was there to show us around when we checked in. The neighborhood is very quiet, safe and clean, and we could still walk to restaurants and the beach. Really enjoyed our stay and we would love to stay here again!!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is in a nice neighborhood close to everything we wanted to do while we were in San Diego. The house had everything we needed and with 4 bedrooms, everyone in our group had plenty of room. The top deck looking out at the ocean was beautiful and the main level had a table where we are most of our meals. The owners were super nice, easy to communicate with, and met us at the house to check us in. I highly recommend the house for a nice comfortable stay in San Diego!

This house was perfect for our family on our trip to San Diego. There was plenty of room for all of us so that we could be together but also each have our own space when needed. Richard met us upon arrival and walked us through everything. He responded promptly to all communication . The location of the property worked very well for us as it was close to Sea World and the beach and an easy drive to everywhere else we wanted to go.

We rented this house for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the house, location and the level of completeness of living accessories the home owners provided. This made the stay that much nicer especially for those who want to cook in. View from the deck upstairs is fantastic. We would rent this house again for sure.

Dana and Richard’s home was the perfect set up for spending a full week with our family of 7. The two floors made it easy for us to spread out. Our two girls set up camp upstairs in the living area. We successfully cooked Thanksgiving dinner and had access to a majority of things needed to pull it off. The amenities helped us feel like we were home but of course with perks like the ocean view. The location is perfect - accessible and close to lots of things like eateries, grocery stores and shopping. Thank you Dana and Richard for being lovely hosts.
