About this house rental
Awesome lake house, with a private dock, kayaks, a canoe, a game room with foosball, air hockey/small pool table, an arcade with 100s of games, board games, a yard with hammock swings, games & the lake has boat ramps, so bring your water toys. This lake is a fishing paradise we have caught crappies, red ears, bluegills, and lots of bass, our 5 year old got a nice crappie on his second cast.
We love our vacation home and we want to share it with you. The house features smart TVs in every room and in the game room, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dining ware and silverware, we also offer free coffee on a Keurig machine, on the living room we have a desk, and we also have a library for you to grab a book and relax. The yard is huge about 1/2 and acre, it has lots of shade from a huge tree that is about 100 years old with hanging hammock swings, a little kids playground, a sun room, a fire pit, and a grill (please note we do not provide charcoal or wood), it also has a little kids tree swing. The dock has water, a hose, electricity, solar lamps, a sink to clean your catch, and an amazing view. also there are lots of fish around the dock, we have caught everything from here.
Disney is just 35 minutes away & Legoland 10.
Managing Expectations:
This house was built in 1941 it has a lot of updates as you can see on the pictures, but is still a house from 1941, do not expect to be in a modern house, but rather in a very well kept house with modern amenities,
The house has a big front yard and a huge backyard, and people play on them and on the lake, and drag dirt inside the house. During every cleaning in between guests the cleaning company, sweeps, mops and sanitizes the floors, but this are real hardwood floors, it is impossible to remove every single grain of dirt from them, that is not a reasonable expectation for this property.
Lastly we are in florida on a lake we do our best to control pests by regularly tenting the house, cutting the grass every 2 weeks and fumigating the yard, and thanks to this we have almost no insects, but the key word here is almost it is impossible for there to be no insects in the summer.

House had a lot of mildew on the outside. Inside had an odd smell. Beds had old broken mattresses and we're not comfortable. None of the furniture in the house was comfortable to sit at. We didn't use the back porch or dock/lake.

The house is old but was clean. Has that.old house smelll. Location is great. Weather was horrible. We were in and out a lot for the games location was close to everything. House was equipped with basics in the the kitchen and overall. Need a can opener. Could not figure the one there. Long term rental may want to bring paper products etc. The house didnt really have drapes in front room to pull closed. The furniture is minimal and slight. Not really comfortable. Beds were good. Outside area and back is fantastic, the highlight of the house. To use this house as a hotel is great where you are in and out is great. To use as a vacation not enough seating and furniture not very comfortable. Regardless, i would rent again

This was a great place to stay while we spent time at Legoland. Not only was it convenient, but the game room had our 11-year-old boys enthralled.
Unfortunately, it was really too hot for us to enjoy the outdoor setting in the evenings, but the screened porch was a great place for morning coffee before we started the day.

We were there with our kids (4 adults in 30s) and 2 grandkids, 12 and 2. Our kids enjoyed sitting out in swings under the huge oak trees during our down time. They spent a lot of time on the dock fishing or just enjoying being on the lake. The house was very roomy for our crowd. The gameroom was nice but they were too busy doing other things during visit. The place is an older house and so is the neighborhood but was very quiet and felt inviting. The place was close to stores and great restaurants.

We had a lovely stay at this adorable house. Loved the view of the lake, the game room, the fire pit, the swings, the beds were super comfy, and the house was very conveniently located to many shops and restaurants. Great communication with the owner.

We loved how easy it was to get to legoland and Orlando. Had plenty of space indoors and out. Beautiful Tree in the backyard with chair swings perfect for reading. Kayaking on the lake was beautiful. Owner was quick and kind in all communications.

Our Spring Break 2022 Getaway
Very nice place located in a great little city. We had fun kayaking and hanging out by the quaint little lake. House was older, but fully functional. Everything that was needed was available.

Perfect, Would love to stay again!
We are from Ohio, this house was perfect for our group of 10, 4A:6K ratio. this property had things for everyone.
PROS: The house was in the perfect location. We Loved the Lake and all the Play equipment. We recommend the house to any family with Multiple age groups! In the Garage, there were so many extras. We even left a baby float and our double stroller since our 2 toddlers were at the end of the journey of use.
CONS: Toliet in the master bathroom has a small wobble, nothing a tightening won't Fix. The biggest issue we had was we stayed there for 2 weeks and there wasn't a mop for us to clean the floors. The trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels were only enough for a weekend. This wasn't a major issue Walmart was 7 minutes away.

Visiting Legoland
This was my very first time using Vrbo and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The home was perfectly set up for all ages to have fun! Even tho we were rained out on our trip to Legoland; we enjoyed all the things to do at the lake house and still made memories!

Wonderful lake house!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was a nice location close to family we have in the area and the lake is just beautiful! We all enjoyed the game room. My only, very minor complaint would be that there isn’t really good furniture all in one room (inside) for us to hang out together. We did spend most of our time outside but did have rain almost every day of our stay which pushed us inside at times. I would recommend this house and would consider staying here again in the future!

Me and some friends took our kids to Legoland and stayed at this wonderful lakehouse. There was plenty of things for the kids to do and we were so close to Legoland! Highly recommended this rental.

Fun weekend
My kids had a great time in the game room and outside. We came for a weekend at legoland, but they had so much fun at the house as well!

Older home. Needs some updates.
Check-in is at 4pm but didn’t receive code to get in til 4:15pm. No wash cloths or hand towels in bathrooms. Master bath toilet rocks back and forth. Beds are very uncomfortable. Furniture is not comfy or welcoming. Set trash out to curb side as asked but cans were already full from other renters. Lawn was over grown so perhaps a weekly lawn service instead of bi-weekly. Otherwise our stay in Winter Haven and at Lego Land was a blast.

Lake Martha Stay
I enjoyed my stay at this Lake Martha house. The property was clean and well-maintained. My only problem was that the hot water in the master bedroom bathroom sink was very limited. Everything else was fine.

Nice house for Legoland visit
We enjoyed staying at this property. While the house was older, it was spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. Our kids, 1 and 5, loved the car and the swings. Of course the lake is wonderful and so peaceful. The house is an easy drive
To/from Legoland.

Beautiful view of lake
We stayed here for 2 nights for a family vacation to Legoland.
The view and the backyard was awesome! The kids, ages 2-5, really enjoyed the chair swings. The adults did, too! I really liked the layout of the house and it was very charming. Unfortunately, the dishwasher didn't work and the dryer was very slow to dry.

Quaint Lake House
We had a great two night stay at Jenny’s lake house! The back yard on the water is amazing! We had a wonderful time using the fire pit to cook dinner and s’mores! The kids also loved the game room! Jenny was very warm, helpful and responsive!

Excellent family friendly lake house
The house was the perfect space for my family. With in laws and young kids, it had the perfect setup. We all had our own space but were connected. The swings entertained us much of the time. A lot of equipment was provided. Canoes fishing poles games etc. The only thing that could improve is the provided basic supplies. We couldn’t find a can opener, garbage bags!, no paper towels, salt and pepper, etc. We were ready to fire up the grill ($20 cleaning fee no problem) but there was no gas. Fire pit but no firewood. Great house, clean, lots of toys but make sure you bring everything you can think of

Beautiful historical lake home
I would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a spacious lake house. Our family of 4 traveled with another family of 4. The teens had a lot of fun doing their own thing on the lake with the kayaks, canoe and dock for fishing.
The public boat ramp is literally a few doors down. We put our 21 foot boat in and drove it over to the dock. Plenty deep enough. Stayed on the dock as there’s no tide on the lake. The water is brackish but the kids swam anyways. I think we saw maybe 2 other boats on the lake the entire time we were there. It was a great place to teach our son boating. There was nobody ever at the boat ramp. He practiced putting the boat in the water, driving docking ect. The kids learned to water ski. They tubed non stop. Not one alligator seen.
The house had plenty of space. Kids threw down air mattresses. Adults got the comfy beds. Bathrooms are Jack & Jill style. Everything was clean. Parking was tight because the teens wanted to bring their own cars. We fit 5 cars in the driveway. Absolutely no street parking. The neighborhood was ok. Some sketchy people walk by but we never had any trouble. Nick next door was a hoot talking to over the fence.
Minimal supplies so pack extra paper towels, coffee, sugar & some towels. The Kurig coffee maker had a lot of coffee that came with the place! The house was really clean!!! AC worked great. It was nice to toss in a load of laundry too. We used the fire pit outside every night. I though it would be too hot. But it wasn’t.
We all loved the house and the lake!! It was an amazing time!! Our host, Jenny, was so sweet when we had a couple of glitches. She’s just wonderful! Thank you! Can’t wait to come back!

Our family enjoyed everything about this little retreat! Having two teenage boys, the game room was an instant hit. All four of us enjoyed the kayaks and canoe, which were perfect for exploring the small lake. We had beautiful breezes and spent a lot of time in the swings in the shade of that fabulous old oak tree. Then we topped off each evening around the fire pit as the sun went down.
I couldn't have asked for anything more!
We will definitely be coming back.
