Memorable

The ambience and serenity of the place

Shared bathroom. The near detachment of the property persons from the visitors. This can be quite challenge to some visitors.

Unsafe and underwhelming. No info on breakfast though included in price.

That the laundry was free for us to do.

Extremely small room for the price. Down in the basement. Lady in adjacent room seems to have been offering prostitution or other services to young men. One young man solicited my wife in a threatening way. Not a good place to travel with family at all.

really disappointed.

you arrive and you have to sing a paper that you will pay 100chf if you broke something.. they are many small things in the room. if you louse the key it’s 500chf if you smoke 100chf I had the sensation that all it’s money for them. also the parking it’s not for free and they don’t say that you can park for free at 100mtrs. I went there because look kind in a nature place but was a big complex of buildings I don’t like it at all. the resto only bring bread (tartin they called) in the morning I like to eat avocado like they show in the pics.. so disappointed about this booking.

The most basic of basic hotels. Not recommended.

It was close to the airport

The room was extremely cramped and hit. No wardrobe, drawer or even a single hook in the room to hang clothes or coats. 3 of us stayed in the room (mum, dad, son) but there was only one glass between three of us, no fridge, no bottle of water. The auberge makes a great deal of the restaurant bar, but when we returned from looking around Geneva at 9pm it was closed and there was nowhere to get a drink, no vending machine, no instructions as to where one could buy anything.

The location: quiet, leafy and a car park near by. The great service, the nice restaurant.

the staff was excellent. although their English is limited, they have put lots effort to help us. truly appreciated!

wifi connection got often disconnected. there is no tv inside the room. The location is quite far away from the city center but fortunately there is a direct line :)

Room was very nice. I was lucky to get in my room, transport links to the city and airport were good

The room itself was very nice. Spacious and the bed was comfortable. I mistakingly booked thinking it had it's own bathroom and the bathroom was shared which isn't great but the bathroom itself was very nice and clean

I arrived late at night. I was given a code to access a key from a lockbox. However, the staff had forgotten to put my key in the box. This is acceptable on its own but what was unacceptable is that there were ZERO ways to contact the hotel. The phone numbers I had either didn't work or they rang and no one answered. I could actually hear the phone ringing in the office on the other side. Mistakes happen but this was 9 pm in pitch black in the housing estate way out of the city center. It was by pure chance that someone came along and was able to give me my key so that I could get into my room at which point I had been standing around for about 45 minutes. The man who did let me in though was extremely polite. There was also no kettle or TV in the room. I didn't come abroad to watch TV but little things like that I find are actually really nice to have for the noise in the background especially if you are on your own.

won’t come again.

the breakfast is not so good. the butter is served cold and is like a block. they could’ve at least served it at room temperature for easier spreading. the hot chocolate is barely hot. waste of money.

Good stay which could have been better with a bit more hospitality professionalism shown by the team

The room was very quiet and well laid out. The facilities were fine. The vicinity around was very unusual because there were no cars.

Method of access to the rooms should have ben clarified beforehand. The door was locked and we had to make a phone call to gain access. Apparently an email had been sent but traveling around we do not receive emails from the home PC . The accommodation in the Auberge was a set of rooms at the bottom of a large apartment block. The breakfast offer was very limited.

Nightmare awakening your biggest fears: a disaster of unfathomable measures

I must also add that the room allotted to me is in the basement. I have two very heavy trolleys full of my belongings. I am in distress and agonizing pain as my ankles are giving way. They pain severely and there is very little one can do. And I am sorry to say but no two rooms I have to stay in have a kettle or a balcony. Neither have a garden view. There are no private bathrooms and none are fitted with a private bathroom and bed linen.

There are no air-conditioners or fans in the room so one is therefore compelled to keep the window open. And to this is a folly. Since AdV shuts at precisely per their convenience. The atmosphere and mood are always hostile. At around midnight, I hear the creaking sounds. To my amazement, there is a face peering into my room through the window. Slyly trying to make his way in. The said person’s intentions were odious and were a burglar. I yelled as loud as I could to scare him away. I was successful. But at what cost? Since this incident at night, I have not been able to sleep. The emotional and mental distress this has caused me is unparalleled. I am in shock. I am an international civil servant working in the United Nations and this is the hospitality Geneva has shown me. I am quite amazed and disappointed.

Honest accommodation for a short budget stay

Clean and quiet, met my key requirements. Being Switzerland, the room rate was alright, not fantastic VfM, but just about right. Conveniently placed for bus stop of line 57 from the airport. Good shower, comfy bed

The wi fi was dreadful, having breakfast starting at 8:30AM automatically cuts off anyone travelling for busines with meetings in the morning. Should start earlier.
