Immersive jungle experience. Being lulled to sleep and awakened by the sounds the jungle. Breakfast in the patio.
Just so you know - no hot shower water but didn’t bother me since so hot outside. And hosts offered to use theirs if desired. And we had a car at the time but if you don’t it isn’t convenient to walk to groceries or beach. At all.

De lodges. Tenthuisjes liggen prachtig met mooi uitzicht. Mooi. Schoon en netjes. Heerlijke omgeving. Stil. Jungle. Maar toch dicht bij de stranden. Nationaal Marino Bellena park en strand in de buurt. Perfecte gastvrouw. Supermarkt vlakbij. Dit is Pura Vida. Natuur is prachtig. Toekans en Papagaaien.

The staff were kind and flexible towards my needs as a guest. All of the shared facilities were clean and useful.
When there were two occasions during my three-day stay, the water supply disappeared,( for undetermined periods of time), which affected my ability to cook, wash , do laundry.

Exceptional experience. Host went far and beyond to make me feel at home. Will be back soon :)
All was great.

Friendly, accommodating hosts who spoke good English. The glam camping experience. Being close to nature. The quietness and the stars. The kitchenette had everything you needed to prepare basic meals. The tent was well designed with lots of shelving for storage. The ceiling fan on the porch was great. Given the heat, the cool water shower was a welcome respite, as was the pool. Laundry facilities on-site.
The municipal gravel road leading to the Lodge was rough and difficult to navigate with a car. Initial signage for the Lodge was easy to miss. Would help if signs were more colorful with larger print.

Lovely location, and noise only comes from the natural surrounding. The hosts were lovely, and the room was clean and comfy. The terrace is great to just look at the huge mountain in front, and stoves and alike were available as well.

Location and settings are great, immersed in nature, you can the sounds of the forests at night. Close to hikes to waterfalls and to playa tortugas.
The owners have also been very kind and helpful.

El Pulpo is located in a very quiet, peaceful area. We were there over New Year's Eve, and yet we were still able to get a good night's sleep!
Honestly I can't really think of anything we didn't like. We were only there overnight, but it was a beautiful stay in a beautiful area, and Cyrielle was very kind and helpful.

Nice location
I am not sensitive to mold and I know it's a problem in Costa Rica but the mold was soo bad in the tent that I had to sleep outside because it is such a strong toxic kind of smell.
Also NO HOT WATER and yet I read in other reviews someone saying it's the best shower in Costa Rica?!? If you're going to have cold water you may as well make an outdoor shower which is much more enjoyable

Lovely place run by a young french couple. We had a family tent with 2 rooms and every spacious living room, place enough for sure. In the morning there are many birds flying over your head and in the evening we were falling asleep in a very quite surroundings. You like to be away feom crowded places than this is the place.

Great location, very friendly hosts that offer help with anything, best shower during our stay in Costa Rica! There is a very good restaurant down the road.
It gets quite hot in the tent around 8am because of the sun, so if you want to sleep until late in the morning, it's probably not the best place for you.

The sounds of the jungle at night.
the peaceful location.
The safari style camping where you feel connected with nature.

Nice but different. You stay in tent cabins which have a fridge and cooking facilities. Kind of glamping, you really need transport to get in and out of town easily. Enjoyable but not for everyone.

Fantastic place. Very friendly and helpful owners. You can spot a lot of birds from your tent.

One of the nicest places I have stayed so far on my 5month trip through Central America. Excellent breakfast with homemade french baguette and the kindest and most attentive service ever! there is even a small swimming pool! Very comfortable tents with charging docks inside + good wifi! The only downside is that if you don't have a car, it is a bit far from the mainroad. However, the hosts were so incredibly nice they even gave me a lift down when i checked-out. 100% recommended to get that glamping feeling!!!

Wonderful filling breakfast (couldn’t even finish it!) and lovely host staff who were very welcoming. A little more rustic and basic than I imagined (tent platforms) but loved it once I saw it!!! So lovely and a cool idea :)
