Comfy bed, Close to Sea

Really nice chilled property! Arrived and greeted with a smile! Showed straight away where to park securely and safely off road! Room was perfect, very close to the beach! Would definitely stay again

Well worth the money and will gladly stay again

Clean, private parking, location was superb, breakfast was good. Quiet considering how close it was to the sea front and shops. The owners were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Basically what we expected for price. Staff good and breakfast well cooked. Free parking.

Location was great. Really well cooked breakfast.

Black mould around shower. I’ll fitting toilet seat. Curtains did not stop light which kept flashing on through the night from outside. - security light? Tv on all night in one of the rooms.

Lovely staff,free parking

Lovely staff & a good strong WiFi, plus a very convenient & free parking space.

Had to ask for a few things at breakfast that are usually already available on the table or clearly visible. Eg Jam for instance & only given one butter packet each ( had to ask for more) . The kitchen area needs to be finished off ( painted) & one of the units needs a good clean.

Another fantastic trip to paignton

Great location 3 mins away from the beach and restaurants / bars ... amusements. Shops .. 5 mins away from train station ..... A very warm welcome on arrival, clean tidy room bigger than most in paigton. Breakfast was ideal, exceptional value for money with a selection of fresh fruit , cereals, full English breakfast . Smart TV, very clean place.

There was nothing to dislike. I recommended this hotel. As a frequent traveller its ideal.

Very welcoming staff, Nice Room, comfy bed and ideal central location. Really close to the beach and just a few minutes walk to town.

Recently renovated to a reasonable standard. On going maintenance in some of the other rooms.

Good clean hotel and good value for money when compared to others in the area

Breakfast was good although some items like bread were not ample in supply and had to be asked for. Not enough bread was given per person

Short stay away

Owners were warm friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely and bed so comfortable, slept really well. Berry Hotel situated in right location, near High Street, Amentites, Pier, sea front. Able to park car which is a plus for me as like my car to be safe when left and dont nees to drive again till departure. Would stay again. Thank you guys for being so welcoming Dawn and Pete Bedfordshire

The cutest little place 💖

The location was perfect and was an ideal spot for a young couple that have not travelled together before. It's the second week we have ever explored through travelling. It was easy to find and found it a surprise how peaceful and quiet the property was considering it was located in the town centre. The staff members were very cheerful, open, confident and considerably welcoming. They were very helpful and chatted and advised us to the best things. Was very lovely to be able to have a laugh and a joke with the hosts. Xxxx

The were facilities very good for the price l but the hospitality was very dusappointing.

The room was mostly very clean. It was comfortable. There was tea and coffee, biscuits. There was shower gel/shampoo available. There were tissues available and clean towels. There was an extra blanket which I used and appreciated, as I don’t like hot rooms. The room was nice and comfortable. There’s a TV if you want it.

I booked early and completed the online registration but I felt I was not expected. I had to complete the registration manually. I was k I didn’t really feel welcomed. I was given a key and informed about parking facilities. I was not given any information about times for breakfast. I assumed there would be a handbook in the room as nothing was forthcoming. The only information available told me not to smoke. I found it difficult to access the wi fi. There is no information available in the room, so I went downstairs yet again and saw the password on a noticeboard. Even so, it was difficult to get connected. I tried all sorts of combinations and after about an hour finally got lucky. I chose this venue because I wanted breakfast but I felt unwelcome and chose to leave and get my breakfast elsewhere. The receptionist informed me I could use the private car park but when I tried to access it, I was blocked by a Groceries delivery van. I drove around the block 2 more times and finally gave up. Upon my arrival after a lot of stress re parking, I was kept waiting for 3-4 minutes in the rain before being admitted. I had completed the online registration as required but upon arrival was required to do this again manually with no explanation and was allocated a different room. I felt I was neither expected, or welcome.

Location was perfect and so was our stay.

Had a perfect stay. Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room, modern design. Staff were lovely. Nice breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast very good, staff friendly and helpful and location very good with plenty of parking.

At the time of writing this is a work in progress,it looks a little tired but the owners are working their way through it. some of the bathrooms are tiny. a bit expensive for a hotel with work going on in it

Great location close to town and the beach. Clean and comfortable with some off street parking.

The cooked breakfast could be vastly improved with decent sausages. Not the cheap rubbery rubbish served.
