Lovely little stay

Garden was spacious and private. The hut was well built and spacious and had everything we need. The scones, milk butter a jam were lovely little touches.

Amazing stay at cosy hut, great for couples getaways!

Lovely, well equiped hut, quiet private location, secured, fenced garden ideal for the stay with dog, fire pit for the relaxing evenings, great communication with host Annie, with very warm welcome from her side.. and the bonus from log burning hot tub... had an amazing stay ... thank you x

Cannot really say anyting bad about the place.. maybe electric kettle would be a bonus ...

Great Value for money

Loved how quirky and cute the place was and really good value for money too

Power went off through the night so was left with no lights or heating, it really spoilt the ending to our night. If we could of got in contact with the host it would of being solved instantly, that being said it was late and in the morning the host was sincerely sorry and did everything in her power to correct the problem and even threw in some freebies which turned our frowns upside down. Really lovey lady !😊

Cosy hut

lovely little setting. hut equipped with pretty much everything needed for a short stay. the games were a cute touch along with bread, jam, milk :) log fired hot tub great amenity. host easily contactable.

Anne was really helpful and friendly. We loved the cosy Shepard's hut! The Vegetarian evening meal was delicious. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

I ended up staying in the cottage next to the hut due to the frozen water pipes. It was lovely, clean, great facilities and very cosy.

Quick escape

Loved the quiet location. The hut itself was beautifully furnished and in keeping with the style.

Bed was a little narrow. Personally we would have preferred a wider one but realise there's not much space for a bigger one!

Woukd love to come back and stay for longer next time. Beautiful place with everything you need!

Truly lovely. very clean, everything we needed. The host also cooked a great dinner for us at a very reasonable price. This was a flying visit as we are on our way North to Orkney - but would have been very happy here for more than one night. The Shepherds Hut was perfect.

Lovely peaceful private Shepherds hut for a relaxing break

Great location & Ann was the perfect host. Didn’t realise how much you can fit in a Shepherds hut ( everything was thought of) really didn’t need for anything, enjoyed the 2 night stay & location was great for getting out & about in Northumberland

unfortunately we arrived just as a new log fired hot tub arrived so we weren’t able to use it. Never mind we’ll just have to return once it’s up & running

Brilliant stay!

The hut was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything you could want or need was included from fresh scones, tea and coffee to robes and wood for the chimney. The hut itself is private and in its own little area but you are close enough to walk to local pubs and parks. Honestly couldn't fault it and would love to stay again!

Everything about the property is perfect for what we were looking for. Anne was so lovely she even made an extra effort to make my partner a birthday cake. The cake was in the hut when we arrived. My partner was really touched by the experience.

I love everything about the property. A electric kettle would also be lovely.

This was one of our best stays ever! The Shepherds but is so welcoming and beautifully decorated with a lovely private garden with outside furniture. Homemade scones are a lovely touch.

Really cosy, ideal get away location with dogs. Really close to the coast, and also plenty of good pubs to eat out at (also plenty that are dog friendly)
