Everything was amazing! From booking to checkout, it all went smoothly. The house worked out perfectly for our family. No one had to share a bathroom and it was nice to have one in each suite. The house had everything we needed to cook, both indoors and on the grill. Having the icemaker was a huge bonus! The house was easy to find and not too far from attractions, restaurants and grocery store. Becky was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend this castle for large groups or family reunions!

This is a great property for hosting large families. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, but close enough to enjoy what the town has to offer.

All rooms have plenty of space, most thing needed in kitchen was provided, great view. Manager was friendly and easy to work with. Good place for large families or groups to stay

Had a wonderful time for the second year. Do feel like it ready for a few improvements. Our mattress was awful. Kept rolling off the sides we had the room straight across from the door. Plus floor has not been mopped in a while. Our feet were black! Thank you for the great emergency kit. It did come in handy this year.

This was at least the 30th time our group of 15 to 19 friends have stayed at the Castle on the Green in the last 40 years. It is a great place for a large group with plenty of common areas to hang out in both inside and out. We'll continue to stay at the Castle as long as we're alive and physically able.

This is our second year at Castle on the Green, and I really love it. One of my favorite things is the location right on the 7th green of the golf course. We have several golfers in our family so we can watch and wave as they go by, plus theres a really good mountain view straight ahead over the road. The little creek is fun for the kids to play in and hunt for lost golfballs.

Our family of 22 rented this for our Christmas get-together. We had a really great time but our only big complaint is the WiFi is basically useless. The one thing that frustrated us (which isn’t the owner’s fault) was a golf ball getting hit through a second story window. I called the main number since I hadn’t noticed the maintenance number. The person who answered didn’t even ask if anyone was hurt. Maintenance came by and was unable to repair, so they just taped up cardboard. If my nephew had been sitting near the window at the time it happened he would have been injured.

Castle was clean and roomy for our group of 18. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Only drawback was very spotty cell service and internet was poor unless you have a VPN. A storm came through when we arrived and we were out of power for 17 hours but still had a great trip.

Property is in tip top shape. Rented this house for several years for old dudes trip. Looks like some money spent updating throughout. All private rooms … with private baths. Huge dining area. Great views. Lots of outdoor space.

It was such an amazing property and we had such a great stay! Would love to come back in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at the Castle on the Green so much! The owners here think of everything. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you can possibly imagine needing while there and done so on a large scale to accommodate all staying there. The house was beautifully decorated for the fall and had such a homey feel. Our group had an epic time and we hope to come back!

We stayed here and had a small wedding. It was a beautiful property and we were all impressed.

Great job, castle on the green really gave us the feel of being a king for a weekend

We all had a great time! There was plenty of room for all of us, the rooms are very spacious and the house has everything you need! Having two ovens, two dishwashers and two coffee makers was definitely a plus! The internet is very spotty, but we knew that going in because it is mentioned in the listing. The only thing we weren't prepared for was the lack of tv channel options, mainly for children, but we didn't spend a lot of time watching tv anyway. Overall, the house is great and we definitely enjoyed our time there!
P. S. A bear broke into my sisters Jeep twice through the soft top, so I'd definitely recommend a hard top if you're bringing a Jeep. LOL!

A wonderful place to relax. Plenty of space for sleeping, eating, and playing. Close enough to attractions but not too close.

The location of the property was beautiful. The house was prefect for our large group. We had plenty of room to spread out! We were all very comfortable. The house was amazing!

We had an awesome time at the castle. Everything was clean, private, and beautiful. It was so large that we didn’t even know we had children with us. You couldn’t hear noise from out on the porch into the house. It was well equipped with two fridge, , two stoves and big icemaker . Plenty of space for everyone.. I especially love the fact that the host left garbage bags, some dishwashing soap, some dishwasher pads, toilet paper, and a few paper towels. Especially since we had people flying in, but couldn’t pack much in the suitcase. This was a real blessing.. the biggest highlight was watching a mama and baby bear walk across the property in the daylight. She didn’t bother anybody and we were all delighted. The pictures didn’t do it justice, and everything was in working order. We had someone in a wheelchair and the wheelchair accessible room was perfect. I recommend this to anyone with a large group, conveniently located as well.

There were 17 of us that stayed here for a family reunion. We loved being on the golf course. It was perfect for what we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for a large group. The location is wonderful- a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go but not in the middle of all the crowds and traffic. When they say the wifi is spotty believe them. It was a little frustrating since some websites would load and others would not. If you are counting on your phone for planning activities, directions, flight checking or recipes you may need to save info to your phone before arriving.

Great large family weekend in the mountains at the castle on the green.

Had a great stay at the castle. With the huge dining room and 9 bedrooms it was plenty of room for our family group which numbered 17. My best memory, which might seem small, was the dinner my granddaughter prepared for us one evening.

2nd time staying here with our family of 20. Great place for all ages. Very well stocked kitchen. Might be time for some new pots and pans though. But overall 5 stars. Booking next year.

The Castle was perfect for our family gathering, we had 24 guests and it was a prefect amount of space. The view of the golf course and mountains from the patio was perfect, and the deck with the hot tub was a favorite sitting spot. The kids loved playing in the little creek. It's far enough outside Gatlinburg that is pretty quiet, and after golf hours (about 5p) feels rather private. The only real negative was the wifi was very spotty, but the listing is pretty clear about that so we knew going in. We're planning on staying here again next year!

Overall the stay at Castle on the Green was amazing. We loved the view from the property as well as the surroundings. Thank you so much for the hospitality. Have a great week.

The Castle on the Green was an excellent place to stay! The house was spacious and the setting was beautiful! It was convenient to be able to feed all 24 guests together at one long dining table. The kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials. We will definitely stay here again!

Words can't describe upon first seeing this wonderful place and cozy quiet location. Very roomy and clean for family or friends. Owner was very easy to reach and appreciate our stay. The guys loved it.

This was our second family gathering in the Castle, last year being our first. The house was nice last year, and this year we were surprised and impressed that they have done a ton of updating! There is new flooring, updated bathrooms, paint freshening, some new kitchen equipment (the kitchen already had a lot of anything you’d need but they added new stuff including new coffee makers)… lots of new stuff… nice to see someone putting money in their investment. We plan to come back every year that we are able. And Becky is very quick to respond and always has the answer you want to hear! Thank you, Becky!

We would most definitely stay here again! The property was as advertised. The owners/management was always quickly responsive. Easy drive into the location that did not require mountainous roads or treacherous driveways yet it has the most incredible view of the mountains while overlooking a stream and golf course. We were a group of 20. The Castle well accommodated our large family. Plenty of linens, refrigerator space, huge dining area where we all shared meals. Beds were comfortable. The layout feels hotel like and that worked really well for our family because we had some that stayed up late and others that were early risers. The decor/theming is unique and we enjoyed discovering the different aspects of it.
We actually got snowed it on our second day because all of the driveways were too slick to exit. The property did a great job of clearing/salting the roads. We played for hours in the snow and walked some of the paths on the golf course. It was so fun!!
A severe storm came through the area the day before we arrived and caused them to not be able to finish up some downstairs upgrades. We let the management know and they did more than enough to help us through that. I really appreciate it!
A minor recommendation would be to do a deep cleaning of all the vent covers in the central air system as well as in the bedrooms that have their own units.
The kids and adults in the family really did feel like they got the royal treatment this weekend.

Excellent. Couldn't be better. Loved every minute and so did my family. I do this every Dec and have for 17 years. I hope I can get it next year. The only think that did not work was the griddle. The light came on but it wouldn't heat. It was fine I had 3 of my own with me. The castle was beautifully decorated. The kids loved every room. The castle is the most fully stocked I have encountered in all my years. I rent a u-haul to bring everything I need for cooking. Thanks for a great weekend.

The Castle On The Green was absolutely perfect for our holiday stay! We cooked up a storm in the well equipped kitchen. The two refrigerators and dishwashers allowed us to seamlessly pull off an Epic Thanksgiving feast! Everyone was comfortable as soon as we arrived. The rooms are spacious and everyone had their own bathroom! We would definitely book again!!!

We had room for everyone. There was something for all ages

This was such a unique place to stay for our large family reunion. The kids liked the castle theme, as did the older adults. Cobbly Knob is a beautiful area in which to stay.
The Castle on the Green had more than everything you'd need, from kitchen utensils and pots and pans to linens, towels, and toilet paper. Nothing was lacking, and it was noticed and appreciated. The building is obviously older, but it was well fitted and very clean. The furnit

It was a nice property can use so.e updates, especially WiFi, seems like signals were blocked on purpose, one of the boxes just was not working. The bed in master need repairs, there was plenty room. We really enjoyed ourselves because we were happy to be together. Thank you!

The Castle is beautiful, spacious, and homey even with many people including children. There are lovely bedroom accommodations from twin to king to cribs, a fantastic large kitchen, and everything you could possibly need.

We had everything that we needed it was clean we only had one problem one of the commodes didn't work

This place was perfect for my family and my daughters wedding weekend! Enough rooms for everyone and everyone got their own bathroom. It was a beautiful backdrop for her wedding. Thank you

Was great. Improvements you made made the place great. Everything was fine a few things not worth the time. Could use some non slip in the tubs. And something on the bottom of the chairs so they don't make so much noise.
Thanks for a great time. Hope to see you next year.

The property manager replied quickly to the few small issues we had. The kitchen was very well stocked. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable. We had several bear sightings which we enjoyed from the inside looking out! It was a wonderful trip down memory lane for some of us and now a treasured memory for another generation of our family.

PERFECT!
25 people from ages 55 to 7 months. We all enjoyed the castle so much! only complaints: 1. please fix ice maker or provide ice trays 2. put more balusters on the rails upstairs (kids can easily slip right through) but thank God they didn't.
Thanks so much - hate to see that our dates are already taken for next year, but we hope to return again soon!

Everything was great! Family get together for the first time since Covid, the house fit all of our needs! The host was gracious and allowed us a late checkout. We traveled from Michigan, Virginia, Missouri and Arkansas. If you have big family , this is house for you!
