Would definitely like to stay here during my next visit.

Surajji, Kalpanaji, Pankajji, Jatinji and the team are so warm and helpful. Felt at home and it was the most comfortable stay. the room has natural sunlight streaming in and the mornings are enjoyable. Enjoyed the delectable, wholesome breakfast. The view from Jal room was amazing, where we can view and experience the beautiful Ganges from above. The place has a warm, lovely vibe with the soft chant of Shani mantra in the living room 24x7 bringing in such positivity and warmth. The main door of the apartment is always open so you can walk-in anytime.

The place is a mere 5- 7 mins walk down the steps to the main road closer to Janaki bridge. However, upon your return, it is quite an ascent. Hence you may be tempted to take an auto that needs to take a little detour to get to the apartment. But it hardly matters- once you reach the apartment, you can simply enjoy the well-lit Marine Drive from the balcony, with the cool breeze flowing in.

One step to heaven...

This Homestay is on top of the Building so you have a breathtaking View to Rishikesh and Mother GANGA from sunrise to Sunset.The homestay Manager and his staff offers an absolutely perfect 24/7 service,( fulfilling every wish).He is also a very good and passionate cook,so you get wonderful native meals when you order.

I do not remember that theres is just one point to criticize. This Homestay was really perfect!

Madhav is an amazing host. Very kind and you automatically feel welcomed. The rooms are great. Location central. The food the chefs prepare is amazing! I would highly recommend! 10/10

Overall nice and peaceful location close to the Ganges.

Nice location, close to the Ganga Ghats. Neat, clean room. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Room has a very good view of the Ganges. Nice society, good parking arrangements.

Would have preferred if they had served dinner in time, some delay due to traffic jam, as we have early dinner had to go out. Would have preferred having dinner inhouse. Had taken a premium room with Balcony but could not sit out as water kept dripping from A/C. Also they have a tie up with a SPA which is very disorganized when it comes to timing and the treatment packages.

Food was expensive as compared to the restaurants around. AC and geyser in the room was not working. The staff offered to change the room. But the view from our room was excellent with a large balcony and we didn't want to change the room just for one day.

Darshan of maa ganga and pure atmosphere and mental piece. Mr Satis and Mr narendra are very good cook.

Exceptional

The facility was very clean & the service was exceptional. Devendra the manager & his entire staff was extremely helpful & welcoming. Not even once were we refused any service.

Everything was just too good. I would definitely be staying in this property whenever I visit Rishikesh again.

it was not perfect, but the owner and staff made up for it beautifully.

The owner and staff are very nice and accommodating. The food is excellent! The view is beautiful.

I would have liked to stay in the A Block which is a much nicer apartment than the one in D block. It is a good hike to get there and back, if you want to walk, if not, taxis are readily available.

Highly recommend

Everything was perfect, the staff is incredibly attentive and kind. Breakfasts were great, as were lunch and dinner. Management helped organize taxis for me and was very helpful. My room was clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view on the river with a balcony.

Disappointing

Rooms are pacious and have a good view of Ganges and Janki jhula. The area is peaceful and has no noise. Staff was good to give me some time to rest in common room and use toilet after check-out.

It is not a hotel but more like a guest house, which is not clear from the hotel description if "homestay" meant shared accommodation in a flat or apartment. I was disappointed when I arrived, I had to climb uphill to reach the place. The arrangement for tea or coffee is self-service. At least they should have good coffee and tea selection and some milk. The option provided was bad. The water heating kettle was not clean and had a sediment layer, I had to ask property staff to clean. This incident ticked me off, I'm particular about hygienic water and food. They don't provide bottled water, and it is risky to trust water provided from the water filter. The toilett floor was not clean. The water from the geyser was not sufficiently hot to take a bath. Soap selection poor with very strong smell. The bed sheet had hair and seemed to be reused or not properly cleaned. Blanket had stain. TV in the bedroom was not working. There was no air heater. The worst thing was that in late night some animal, monkey or b8g rat, entered kitchen to search for food in dustbin and created mess in kitchen. Overall, I did not get proper rest at night, did not sleep well, and did not feel comfortable as homestay. It is overrated and expensive.

Blissful and ‘healing’ break in Rishikesh

We had a wonderful time at the homestay. The room was very comfortable and clean. The view amazing. We chose to have breakfast and dinner at Golden Healing Journeys every day as it was simply delicious! We also tried an Ayurvedic massage which was very relaxing. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We even got a chance to meet the owners who were lovely and went out of their way to make our experience in India as enjoyable as possible. Can’t wait to be back!

Will come back again to this place for the grand view of the Ganges that will stay in the memories for a long long time.

The property provides the most spectacular view of the Ganges, both the banks in all its splendour and the bridges across the banks providing the grandeur. One can sit on the balcony or enjoy the surroundings of Rishikesh with the Ganges view from the windows of the room. The staff is led by the Chef who has several international stints and combines cooking with courteous conversations that makes you know more about the good things of Rishikesh. The food has so much variety and has the touches of mastery.

Everything was just fine and the stay was so enjoyable with such courteous and friendly staff.

It’s really a home stay…food / ambience / views..all put together in a package

The location was excellent..close to River Ganges..can walk down to the river banks in 10 mnts..The homestay stay staff - Mr Negi, Mr Devinder provided great Satvik food and hospitality

Great place, clean, friendly, very homely and relaxed.

Really nice owner Madhav, the swami of this place. I haven’t expected that this place is so high up compared to accommodation in Rishikesh. I’m european/Australian and I expect a curtain level of cleanliness and in this place I found it. Very homely place. you are out of the craziness of center but still very close. Have to mention the very beautiful view.

Amazing stay at this lovely place with great views of the river!

Lovely place, beautiful views of the river, nice clean rooms, delicious food and above all, helpful staff, friendly and accomodating :-) especially, Negi, Aatish, Kamal and Devinder and Rajat. Thankyou all for our wonderful stay, we enjoyed every bit of it and will definitely visit again. You guys are the best!!

Not satisfied with the stay given the price charged .

The property is neat and clean and the staff is friendly to cater to the needs

property is not at the banks of river Ganga and room allocated for senior citizens did not have lift access . So difficult for old people to climb , Room did not have tables to eat dinner in room so bit difficult to manage.

faced many issues - would never stay again, book a hotel not a home stay and recieve a much better service.

clean. good location to walk to the main tourist area

very overpriced. pool was unusable the entire time even tho was said by the host ‘it will be sorted by tomorrow’ multiple times. food was also ridiculously expensive. we booked this primarily for the facilities and were thoroughly disappointed. beds also hard. yoga and masseuse’ very average. for the price we paid you would expect a lot more!
