About this house rental
Come stay with us in our entertainment filled 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home! We have two separate game rooms that are perfect for making memories with your friends and family. We have a lovely patio with outdoor furniture and a beautiful pool to enjoy!

The cleaning fee pays for a third-party professional housekeeping company to turn our home. They are responsible for ensuring cleanliness onsite. Two cleaners come onsite for every clean, they replace all the sheets in the entire home, vacuum, mop, and scrub throughout our home. A list of cleaning services performed by the company can be supplied at your request.
** We are committed to cleaning. We sanitize and disinfect all door knobs, light switches, and all frequently touched surfaces. When you arrive, please inspect the property for cleanliness. If anything is not acceptable, do not hesitate to notify us.
**Important** Please make sure your reservation matches the number of guests in your group. We do our best to provide a number of items onsite to enhance guests' stay such as a bath towel for every guest, hand towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, shampoos, soaps, tea, coffee, and K-Cups. If you need an air mattress left out there will be a $40 fee.
When you book our home, we will text or email you the door code 2 hours prior to arrival. Check yourself in with the keypad that is changed after each visit for a private stay.
Please note:
The pool is open and maintained weekly by a professional pool company; however, the pool is not heated and we cannot control the weather. A brush and net are provided for cleaning between the pool company's visit. During storms and the fall, it is nearly impossible to keep the pool clean 24/7. If for some reason it is overly dirty please reach out to us.
-In order to keep our home allergen free for our guests, we do not allow smoking (including electronic cigarettes) inside the home. A $500 cleaning fee will be assessed for a violation of this rule.
-Pets are also not permitted. A $500 cleaning fee will be assessed for a violation of this rule.
- Quite hours are from 9:00 pm to 8:00 am, during which time the noise from the home shall not disturb neighbors. Noise must be kept to a minimum, as this is a quiet neighborhood. If it is evident you are having a party, you will be asked to leave. If the noise too loud, we will send you a text message or even a call to remind.
- Disclaimer: There are exterior security cameras located at the front door and garage for the safety of our tenants, occupancy numbers, and for the security of the residence and owners. The cameras are all pointing away from the home and are in public view.
- No burning of candles or incense
- We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illness or loss of personal items of any guest.
- The booking person is 100% responsible, please be straight forward, if anything has been broken, damaged, or stained. Please do not move furniture around.

Video/Audio Surveillance: The property has 24/7 motion and sound activated cameras (nest doorbell, blink camera on porch, camera on garage, camera at gate) placed to monitor all vehicles and persons that enter and exit the property and to verify the guest count arriving when needed. This video and audio footage is not shared publicly and is recorded and retained by Host and staff for liability reasons as in the case this Agreement is being violated and/or proof is needed related to any access or incident occurring on the property. In no way do the devices infringe upon Guests’ expectations of privacy during their stay and Guests do not need to expect to be monitored during their stay, but are being made aware of the cameras’ presence. These will be utilized if an issue arises or is suspected, and confirmation or clarification is needed regarding activity on the property at any time. We just returned from staying 5 nights at the A&E Getaway in Lewisville and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The property was very clean and had all the amenities as advertised. The owners were very responsive and eady to talk to.

Took a while to submit this review as Vrbo had problems logging me in but this could not go unsaid.
Was attending a wedding in the area and stayed with my fellow groomsmen. This was my 1st Vrbo experience but I hope that every experience going forward will be as pleasant and easy as the Johnson's made it out to be. I appreciate that everything from cabinets to switches thruout the property was labeled. In the words of a fellow groomsman who also stayed on the property, "If I rented out property, I'd want it just like this one".

Visited family in the Dallas area for an early Christmas celebration. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice kitchen. Game room was awesome for all of us big kids!

The home is very nice and as advertised. It was very comfortable for our family of four and worked great for Thanksgiving for our family and a few guests. The game room was a big hit. Also appreciated the thorough labeling of light switches and kitchen cupboards. Communication with the host was great throughout the process. Would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area.

We were lucky to find this place after our other booking canceled on us and it turned out to be a blessing! The property was perfect for our family (my wife and two little ones, my parents and my niece). Plenty of space and the kids loved the game room and pool! the owners were very communicative and directions were very clear. Highly recommend!

I took my grandkids to the property for a time of swimming, games and fun. It was perfect!! The pool was beautiful and the perfect size for us. The house was great too. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept in. The kitchen was fully stocked with most anything you would need in a kitchen and the living area was nice and comfortable too. The kids enjoyed the game room as well as the pool! I highly recommend this property!

This property was great for what we needed it for. The games in the garage were a hit with everyone. The place was very clean although there was a smoky smell to the house when we walked in the house each time. I would have preferred a king bed in the master bedroom although I get why there are two doubles. We ended up sleeping in our own beds because the kids got scared and wanted to sleep in our room. There’s were plenty of kitchen items which I appreciated and everything was labeled so I didn’t have to go looking for it. Entering the house was very easy with the security which was nice. A little concerned about the neighborhood but all seems okay. All in all it was a nice place to rent and worked well for what we needed it for. The owners were great. They helped os out with all our questions.

My kids asked me if we could buy the house ir at least come back or maybe make a house just like it back home. Thats says a lot. We had movie nights and really loved board games and the billiards room. Very comfortable for all of us and the location was great! Great wolf and grapvine mills soo close and everything else was like 20 min away. Great location!

We came to DFW for a funeral, and have family all over the metroplex. The location was perfect, 15 minutes from everyone. The house is perfect for multi-generations, there's something for everyone! Grandparents can watch TV in the living room while the younger ones can hang out by the pool or in the game room. We even had a pac-man tournament! Incredibly clean, comfortable and up to date. We will be back!

We had my parents and our 17yr old and 12yr old boys staying at this house with us. There was more than enough room to roam. Everyone enjoyed the game room even my parents who are in their 70’s. We also enjoyed the pool. The property had very little stairs which made it easy to get around. The house was well laid out and had everything plus more that you would need for your stay. We were in contact with the owners while we were there for a few questions. They answered almost immediately which made us at ease. We all recommend this property and would stay again if we are in the area.

The property is exactly what was posted in pictures and content. The house was spotless and roomy. From the front door to the back you feel as if you are home the moment you arrive. Tons of seating space and everything is labeled and easy to find. We didn’t leave the house as there was plenty to keep us entertained. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Overall homey and cozy family friendly stay
I accidentally booked my reservation for the wrong days but we still decided to keep the dates. We arrived around almost midnight and we’re unable to get in immediately due to wifi issues. The delay in response was understandable being it was the middle of the night. Nicole called us and corrected the problem immediately. I was so relieved the responded in the middle of the night. Walking into a clean cozy home made all the difference for us that night!! The next day we enjoyed the yard with a poolside picnic for our oldest’ 19th birthday and went into town later in the evening. Our 6 year old son and my husband loved the game room. The house is nicely equipped and stocked with the right necessities one May forget to pack. It was a perfect stay for our family! Thank you Mike and Nicole!

Perfect Getaway
There are no regrets staying here! Everything was perfect! Everything you think you need to bring from home, they already have for you! They even have a high chair and pack n play for your little one! The beds are comfy, there was plenty of space for our family of 7. The pool was heavenly and the patio area is perfect size. My kids lived in the game room a lot of the time. We found ourselves going back to the house just to enjoy it! If you wanna have fun and sleep well at the same time, this is the place for you!

Loved this place! It was setup like a hotel with everything needed to have a great stay. Pool and game room were used often and the bathrooms were stocked with everything. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make any type of meal you want to make. Streaming services supplied with each tv were quite the bonus.

Everything you could ask for in a property.
This is a beautiful home and we were 4 adults and 2 children. We had evacuated from Hurrican Ida in South Louisiana and came to get away from the weather. The game room and pool made our trip so enjoyable that the kids did not know this was a serious trip they just thought we were on vacation. Mike was a delight to work with and was very quick to reply. We definitely give the property 5 🌟 and will absolutely look this property up the next time we are looking for a place in the Dallas area.

The negatives: poor quality of mattresses in every room. And the backyard had a lot of mosquitos.
