Great place to stay with as kind host.

James was very kind and met us in person. He also assisted us with carrying the luggages up the steep steps.

I knocked my head twice on the inclined ceiling but was ok after I got used to it. The double bed was a bit small.

Ideal for our needs. Short walking distance from town, free parking and space / facilities to work from home comfortably during our stay. Located in a quiet neighbourhood and with an excellent view of Box Hill from the bedroom.

Flat nicely appointed, clean and modern with dishwasher and washing machine included. Nice outlook.

Stairs which are very steep and limited headroom in the bedroom. Flat not suitable for elderly people. This should be advertised. Bed linen not up to the standard expected.

Spotless, beautifully designed flat. Very comfortable. Perfect for a visit to the nearby Gin kitchen distillery. Highly

Spotless with very comfortable bed and clever lay out making the most of the space. Great communication with owner and any questions or queries sorted out very quickly by welcoming and friendly (but unobtrusive) host.

Felt bad having to disturb host to find extra bedding for the sofa bed. A simple sign or info card would have spared having to call them.

Nothing wrong with the property but won’t be staying again

Clean and modern property with nice views and comfortable.

The stay was good overall until I received a message from the host after check out telling me that my partner was beautiful and whether she had a sister! It was written as if it is meant be funny but very unprofessional and won’t make me feel comfortable staying again.

Comfortable and cosy.

The host was very helpful in confirming the booking and providing information. The apartment is clean, well equipped and smart with a beautiful view out to Box Hill. It's quiet, but only ten minutes or so walk from the station and the town centre.

The low (sloping) ceiling hampers access to one side of the bed, and the compact dining table is just a little too compact to sit at comfortably. But these were the only two small points in an otherwise excellent apartment.

A beautiful place to stay in Dorking.

everything, it is beautiful. It was warm, comfortable and very nice to make myself at home due to the nasty weather. Lovely view over a snowy Box Hill

I have to struggle to find something but I would have appreciated a bath sheet.

What a lovely apartment in a great location.

Brilliant location, just outside Dorking town. Fantastic communication made it so easy to check in and out. Very well appointed and decorated. Beautiful views across to Box Hill.

The drive is a bit tight, but manageable.

Better than any hotel

Self catering. Drinks were provided. This flat was absolutely beautiful. The decor superior quality. Very well presented. Felt lovely and comfortable. Actually felt special. Would highly recommend this for people expecting a warm clean peaceful nest with a friendly welcome.

Great, useful and safe accommodation.

Overall a great place to stay. Dorking, and stations, a 5-15min walk away. Suburban-Surrey Hills setting with accompanying views and sounds. Clean, spacious accommodation with modern and functional fittings with no pointless frills. Tea/coffee/milk/water all in fridge. Good washing machine. It was good to be able to meet the owner in person – who is helpful and friendly, accessible and unintrusive. The stairs were not excessive and added to sense of spaciousness. Whilst I wouldn’t describe the “balcony” as such, it’s a useful expander of the skylight. Would be useful to have a welcome/orientation folder for the flat and, especially (given its reputation), for the local area and walks. And perhaps a separate bin for recycling. Although a bit of a bother to sort out the deposit (first time in many years with Booking.com that I’ve had to), owner made it a simple process.

Clean, quiet and cozy, yet light and airy when wanted. A nice place to stay.

Location is a quiet leafy cul-de-sac in a street of 1930s houses. Perfect for the event I was participating in at the Dorking Halls. Flat was completely self-contained, modern interior, spotlessly clean and well thought out. Space to sit and eat, sofa to relax on, area to work at a laptop, clean well appointed kitchen, plenty of power sockets Lovely view of hills to rear of property. Tesco Express in walking distance or 2 mins in a car.

If you have pain or a disability, dragging luggage up the 2 flights of stairs could be a challenge. Not the owners’ fault, just something to bear in mind. Everything else was ideal.

Very satisfactory - I would book again.

View excellent. Decor stylish and I think deliberately impersonal, which I liked. washing machine and tumble drier really helpful.

There were a lot of stairs! Had I have realised, I would probably have still booked, as it ticked all the boxes I wanted. But because I was there for 5 days in the middle of a 3 week tour catching up with people, I had a lot of "stuff" to bring in and out.
