About this house rental
Beautiful new home in Massanutten Resort located near to all the amenities the resort has to offer having four great bedrooms and three tiled full baths. Large open concept main floor allows for all to gather and enjoy the large kitchen with stainless appliances and granite counter tops while entertaining and watching the large new TV with Comcast cable. In the winter, enjoy the gas fireplace that can be enjoyed from the kitchen, dining area, and family room area.
The great room is adorned with cathedral ceilings with exposed beams and all floors on the main level are beautiful oak hard wood. In fact, the only carpeting in the house is area rugs to add warmth and style.
There are three bedrooms on the main floor including the large master suite with its own bathroom, king bed, and TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed and TV, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top. A full bathroom in the hallway completes the main floor except for the two sets of French doors leading out to what may possibly be the largest deck in the resort. The deck is complete with a picnic table, other seating and a gas propane griddle for which we provide the propane.
The basement is so light and bright with a large game room with a great pool table, comfortable seating and a large TV. Next to this game room is a very large bedroom with a queen bed, TV, and a seating area. A beautiful full bath and laundry room completes this floor. Not only the house is newly built, but most of the furniture, bedding and kitchen items are also new.

This was one of the best rental properties that we have ever stayed at before. The house was clean, well stocked, and a fabulous location. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Everything was very nice.

We loved our stay in Massanutten for our family reunion. Lots to do for all age groups. Hiking, golf, swimming, water park, etc.
The house was new. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had a wonderful time.

Great place to stay! Clean, comfortable, and perfect location. Would definitely recommend.

House was a great meeting place for our 3 families. Close to activities. Children enjoyed seeing the deer with her fawns up close. Comfortable!

This house was fantastic for a family getaway. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen in a short term rental I’ve ever had, the place was clean, and the layout was perfect. The surrounding area was also great - summer tubing, mini golf, the water park, and other great activities in the area kept us entertained. We hadn’t ever been to the area before but can’t wait to come back!

My husband, our daughter and her family and I found a lovely home that was very comfortable and roomy with lots of room for the 6 of us. Another 11 members of our family joined us for a day visit on Saturday and all of the children and adults were very comfortable with plenty of room for everybody. Kevin was very helpful and gracious toward us and everything was exactly as we had expected. One small issue was that the 2 lavatories upstairs were very slow to drain when we first arrived and gradually became worse over time. No other problems at all.

Property was in a great location. Had everything we needed the deck was great to sit on and enjoy the evening.

Really enjoyed staying at this house!
Pool table downstairs kept the kids entertained (and off their devices) for long periods of time.
Loved the big windows and big deck.
Pool pass and instructions to the pool were on the coffee table. Cost is $6 per person per day, so just be aware.
Well equipped home: towels, wash clothes, bedding, hand soap, trash bags, paper towels, napkins, and dish soap all provided.
You do need to bring your own bath soap and shampoo; but if you forget anything, just visit the Massanutten Resort Market Place or General Store less than 10 min aways for essentials.
Even a Keurig and K-cups were provided (bring your own creamer).
Only thing I'll say is we got zero check out instructions (other than must be out by 11:00 am).
We were only up for a quick weekend trip for a family reunion, but after staying at this house and learning more about Massanutten Resort, we hope to stay at this house again and enjoy more of what the resort has to offer!!

The house overall is very nice, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, clean, but just needs some TLC.

We loved staying in this beautiful house! The layout is perfect for entertaining. We had a great time eating, playing pool, playing cards, and just celebrating our son's graduation from JMU. We also had fun participating in the activities at the resort...go-karts, bumper cars, the zip-line, mini golf, fishing at the lakes, and the scenic chair lift! There was something for everyone!

The direction were easy. Communication with the owner was on point. The house was exactly as listed. My family and I celebrated my husband birthday. We had a fabulous time. We all slept comfortable, the cleanliness of the place was great. Looking forward to coming back again.

We stayed here during our wedding weekend celebration at the Golden Horseshoe Inn. The home was perfectly stocked with everything that we needed for our family. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

Loved the house and the views. The driveway is steep, but we didn't have a problem with it. Loved the fireplace in the living room. TVs in every room. We couldn't figure all of them out, but were able to get enough working while we were there. I'm sure the owner would have walked us through, if we couldn't figure it out. We enjoyed our stay.

It's a great home and in a nice location! Bright and airy and has plenty of space. Good communication with the owner when we asked for a few things. Just a heads up that bath soap/body wash is not provided, and the closest store outside the resort is about 4 miles away.

This is a fantastic home, we really loved our stay. Nice open floor plan, especially compared to a lot of other homes in Massanutten. Great light, very spacious, a wonderful family home.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Bathrooms and kitchen are updated. Main floor with open concept which was nice for family time. Would recommend this property and will likely book again.

House over all clean and comfortable. MB towel rack needs to be tighten. Windows cleaned. Drive way a little scary. Location was great. For being pet friendly there are no signs or smells. Would love to have had a cleaning spray to wipe down cabinets and table between meals. Didn't think of bringing it. We had a wonderful stay, very close to everything. Communication with owner was immediate. Thanks so much for great memories.

This property and location was great for our extended weekend. I’m am very peculiar about the cleanliness of where I stay, but I must say, this place was well maintained. It was sufficiently stocked. We were only a couple of minutes away from tubing, ski lodge and rec center. Restaurants were also nearby. The only rating that failed to score high was communication with the property manager. There were no instructions on trash pickup. I was unable to reach him throughout my stay and my questions remained unanswered. Regardless of that, I would definitely recommend this home to others.

Super easy check in, we scheduled at last minute and everything was just as we needed. Nice, clean house that was perfect to relax in after skiing. Internet worked great for my wife to work all day Friday.

The place was as described on the listing. We enjoyed the convenience of having everything (zip-lining, go kart, water park etc) within walkable distance or a few minute drive!

This was clean, bright and had a great location!

This house was terrific for our family - we also had extended family for dinner one night. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans & anything else you need to cook.
The setting is lovely.

Great place with lots of space to move around. Could use another sofa and some landscape improvements and new deck furniture. Overall great place! Loved watching the deer!
5.0
When we arrived there were a lot of dead bugs on the second floor (ants, spiders etc) which we cleaned and disposed of. Being in the mountains i guess that is inevitable. Also be aware that the grill is a griddle type grill (no open flames) which was a disappointment as we were planning to do some steaks for dinner. Would have been nice if that was specified in the listing. Other than that the location is very nice and the check in process was very easy.

Great neighborhood (resort), house is very comfortable, well equipped, well connected. Lot's of deers, wild life, even fireflies!
We hiked Shenandoah, visited some local restaurants and drove to the Luray caverns (highly recommended).
Night skies are gorgeous. Communication with the host, Kevin, was easy. Great mountains retreat.

My husband and I stayed with our two adult children and their spouses for 4 nights. There was plenty of room, a well-equipped kitchen, and the pool table was a nice diversion. We would recommend it and would stay again!

Loved the home! it was clean and comfortable. We stayed Father's Day weekend with both of our Dad's, my husband's mom and our granddaughter. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. Kevin was very responsive. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Massanutten!

The house was well stocked with plenty of blankets, towels, spices, dishes, cookware, trash bags, and toiletries. The living room is large and spacious. The house is pet friendly and our dog stayed with us. There were no hints in the house of previous dogs staying there. (No smells, stains, pet hair, etc). The beds were comfortable. We had a question about trash removal so I emailed the owner. He was quick and responsive. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and recommend it to other guests.

Great house and location for our son’s graduation

Directions to facility were incorrect. A 2.1 mile segment was left out, namely, after turning on to Resort Drive the next turn was at Massanutten Dr, for 2.1 miles, then turn on Del Webb Drive. We finally had to ask for directions. I would also add that at the last turn on Trevino, it is the fifth house on the left. It should be disclosed that bath soap is not provided as it is along way to a store. However the home is wonderful and we highly recommend it. (also change the location of the key locker which is on the post opposite the front door, not on a faucet.) the addition of more bedroom bedside lamps would be a great addition. (one bulb was burned out) All easy additions to make it even better.

We had stayed in the home 4 years ago and it was just as nice as it was the first time. The location is convenient to everything.
