The breakfast was a 10 out of 10, could not ask for a better breakfast
We stayed in the outside quarters and was not allowed in the house?
4.5
Breakfast was wonderful! Our bed and lounge chair were quite comfortable. We loved having our own outdoor sitting area
We didn't realize that we wouldn't be located in the main house, so that was a bit of a disappointment. But the bathroom in our room most definitely needs to be updated. The bathroom keeps us from really loving the hotel.

Een prachtige historische locatie in Vicksburg, met mooie authentieke details in de kamers.
Dat er geen gordijnen oor de ramen zaten om licht buiten te houden.

The staff was great and the room was very clean and comfortable

Nice atmosphere. Staff was great. Very accommodating throughout . Wished I could have stayed longer.
Wish could have seen more of the house of things described in the video. Ie. Upstairs Attic etc. understood upstairs guests so really no fault of anyone.

disappointed that my waffle was cold but that is the only downside. Everything else about our stay was great and we would stay there again.

The staff and amenities were top notch! The property is beautiful and well located. The included breakfast was amazing! We will be visiting again for sure!
The bed was a little uncomfortable and the air conditioning on the second floor struggled to keep up. Bear in mind the time of year we stayed everyone's air conditioning is struggling to keep up.

The room was beautiful and comfortable and the food was delicious!

Beautiful antique home
Parking a little tight, larger vehicles should park in the street

Beautiful historical mansion with a lovely garden area and a beautiful pool. The southern style breakfast with cheese grits and cinnamon biscuits was fabulous!

The historic nature of the property and the beauty of landscaping and time period furnishings.
I was totally happy!

The breakfast was really good, but the evening meal we had there was out of this world. We had the steak, pimento grits and creamed spinach, and every bite was heaven
I really cannot puck fault with anything

Beautiful historic inn.
Same standard boring breakfast every morning. Scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, bacon, biscuit, fruit.

Beautiful, historic property. Our rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Great attention to the comfort of the guests. A few hours around the lovely outdoor pool were memorable and a time to unwind. Breakfast was tasty. Our stay was the highlight of a multi-day road trip after making the mistake of staying at lower-end chains on other nights.
Everything was wonderful. Tours are given of the home and the only odd occurrence was when a couple ignored the signs saying that guest rooms were off limits and walked into our room, and took their time looking around, ignoring us!

Staff and the restaurant was best thing about my stay
The room I was in needs Repairs the tile around the toilet are buckled and appears to be sining into the floor the levelness of the floor felt as if you were waking on a boat for the price of the room I expected more. The website makes your anticipate a large plantation which it is not. Nice place but not as displayed or advertised on the web

The food was excellent, dinner and breakfast. The grounds of the property was beautiful. And everyone/staff was kind and friendly.
Perhaps better attention to some of the shrubs and trees. Several dead or dieing plants, those should be removed and replaced.

What a treat to stay in this historical home. It is an antique but the owners have done their best to upgrade the amenities to make you comfortable and maintain the integrity of the history. The breakfast was outstanding southern fare to fill your belly. The staff were attentive to your needs and making sure your stay was a pleasant experience. I would stay here again next time I visit Vicksburg.

Nice outdoor spaces for relaxing, nice pool, great staff, excellent food. Also, nice to have the bonus of visiting the house itself.
Bed (mattress) very uncomfortable. Additional seating outside our room would have been nice. The blinds on the window didn’t keep the outside light out.

the history
no hot water, door on room #5 would not lock from the outside. luckily we had an adjoining room with #3. need more parking.

The house was very pretty and historic. Well kept. Nice pool and gardens. Staff was friendly. Very nice breakfast , though it was the same everyday for 3 days in a row.
Onsite parking was very tight and difficult to maneuver in. Breakfast got repetitive. We were in the carriage house, next to some smokers on a shared porch. And the bathroom was not the cleanest and it needed to renovated.
4.5
Staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful location. Have already recommended to friends.

This is a wonderful old historic house that has been lovingly maintained. The staff here is incredibly energetic and always helpful. The restaurant is excellent. We were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Parking was tight. Had to be careful backing out in the morning.
