The property looks entirely like the pictures presented. The place was spotless, the management company was highly responsive to questions, and the light in the space is quite nice. If you are looking for a space near the ocean and fairly close to the downtown, this is worth consideration. There are a few reservations I have for a strong recommendation: 1). the neighborhood has a number of motel/rentals and parking is very tough on the street (there is no parking spot for the loft); 2). even though the listing explicitly says "loft" I did not understand that this property sits above another rental (normally not a big deal...however, we could hear them very loudly and clearly when we overlapped...including their loud TV! so not completely ideal if you have lots of people downstairs; 3) the neighborhood is quite dark at night and felt like there were random people walking around the street (not dangerous, but not exactly secure feeling either); 4). as there is no parking, there is no place to put something like a bike (we were able to lock ours to a fence, but it seemed like perhaps someone had tried to cut the lock!). So...on balance, while we had a fine experience with the space, I would make sure you fully understand the negative aspects and balance versus the positive.

The house was very nice. But I did not know it would be upstairs. Me and my family thought we were getting the whole house. It was very hard to bring my luggage up stairs. And my old father-in-law also found it difficult. I must of overlooked the information about the second floor. The owners of the house are smart. Why rent to one, when they can rent to two. The parking was also tough. My space in front of the house was taken most of the time. So I parked accross the street and received two tickets.
