Absolutely amaing with the most wonderful staff in a picturesque location.

Everything was perfect! The staff were amazing & accommodating in more ways than one. They were so helpful & friendly in helping arrange my daughter’s 21st birthday. Nothing was a problem. Julie, Marie & Sophie were outstanding. We had the most wonderful stay.

A peaceful spot to relax in the vines

The chateau is located in a peaceful vineyard setting creating a wonderful setting for relaxing over a glass of chateau wine. The hostess gave us some wonderful tips for visiting local venues and booked them for us. The room we had was splendid.

There was a kitchenette in our room but it had very little in it. This didn't really matter as the staff were very helpful supplying what we needed.

Magical château, literally nothing bad to say!

Free parking. spacious, recently renovated and clean rooms each with its own personality (and colour on walls). Staff super friendly and welcoming from the moment of check in - the lady even helped carry the baggage to the room upstairs. She provided sheets for restaurants and châteaux around the area. We had booked the wine tour & tasting accompanied with the platter which I recommend. The pool is also great, and you can order their wines and cheese platters throughout the day The breakfast is comprehensive, you can order eggs as well.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful Chateau that doesn't break the bank.

The staff welcome was lovely, the Chateau is enchanting, the grounds a delight. Our room, though the smallest was beautifully decorated and large enough for our one night stay. We ate at the Chateau, an unexpected bonus not having to go some distance to a restaurant. Food and wine were good and very reasonably priced.

We only got notification of food availability once we arrived, due to lack of wifi during the day, so had to cancel a restaurant.

Worth a detour off the beaten path!

What's NOT to like?! This is one of those dream-like places where you have to pinch yourself to make sure it's real. We thought so much of the prospect of staying here that we went out of the way on our cycling route to do so. Do make sure you stay for dinner and breakfast!

Elegant chateau in Medoc

The chateau is beautiful! The garden is well kept and you are overlooking the vineyards. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff was most helpful and their wine is spectacular.

The best stay possible!

Sophie was so nice and accommodating! my wife and I were late getting out of Paris, and Sophie stayed up until 3:30 to let us in to the building. I definitely recommend Chateau Meyre!

The Chateau, room and gardens were just lovely. The staff took great care to ensure you were happy and comfortable. It was such a lovely experience. We did a tour of the wine making facilities and that really was fabulous.

As the property is some distance from shops and restaurants a fridge would be wonderful in the room.

A lovely chateau and winery.

A wonderful winery and chateau; every bit as good as you would want. Comfortable rooms, a pool, leafy gardens in which to relax when it is hot, lovely breakfast and a couple of simple but delicious dinners with which to drink their wine, which is very good. The winemaker also showed us round the winery and did a tasting for us of the two wines they produce, an Haut-Medoc and a Margaux. Nothing was too much trouble while we were there.

Fabulous stay

stunning property, decorated to a high standard. Sophie & the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Best night sleep ever as bed so luxurious and comfortable. Made use of the lovely pool in the sunshine. Fantastic stay.
