Beechwood is a very well presented cottage with lovely gardens in the centre of Ballater. The cottage has been furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect. We loved staying there and look forward to returning.

Beautifully decorated property, warm and welcoming. Garden secure for dogs and beautifully maintained - the photos don’t do the garden justice and only shows one half of it. Everything was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Central location to the shops and local eateries, although not at all noisy, as even when busy, the town is generally quiet in the evenings.
Mark the owner was very helpful and quickly responds to any messages left.
Ballater is a great place to stay, with lots of walks available straight from the cottage. We’ll definitely be visiting Beechwood again.

This cottage was perfect for our stay. The cleanliness and quality of all the rooms meant it was extremely comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and friendly. There was some nice personal touches as well, such as a welcome pack on arrival. The location was ideal, Ballater is beautiful and has great walks straight out the door of the cottage and there is a good variety of food and drink in the town which were all very good quality. Balmoral and the Glenshee ski area were only a short drive away. Overall, a fantastic base for a great family holiday and would definitely book here again.

We stayed at the house for a week. The location is excellent. The kids loved walking to shorty’s for ice cream every day and the town had everything we needed. The house was very comfortable however to e sitting rooms both are a little small for 5 people. The house had been recently renovated and they did a great job. Good beds abs showers. A dryer for clothes would have been nice given the rain and damp, it took a long time for things to dry. The owners were very accommodating and easy to reach.

Beechwood Ballater
We had an excellent week in Beechwood, Ballater. This house is one of the best we've stayed in, the decor, layout and furniture are all top quality. The property was immaculately clean with the little touches that make all the difference, such logs for the stove and a welcome basket on arrival.
The location is a two minute walk from local restaurants, pubs and shops but is also very quiet. The surrounding area has lots to do with both adventurous and relaxing activities.
Mark and his family have thought of everything, thanks again for great week!
