About this house rental

This two bedroom/two bath home is located on the highly desirable Isle of Palms in Charleston, South Carolina. Isle of Palms is an island roughly 15 minutes from downtown Charleston and only a couple of minutes from Sullivans Island which is another award winning beach town. Isle of Palms is a fun, family friendly island which features restaurants, golf courses, tennis courts, shops, beach bars, a grocery store, and amazing views! Unless you want to go to downtown Charleston and explore, there is no reason to leave the island.
400 Palm is the quintessential beach bungalow featuring a fenced in backyard, screened in porch, outside shower, and two full bathrooms. Have all of the essentials you're used to at home including a gas grill, cookware, silverware, dishwasher, washer + dryer, internet, as well as comfortable furniture and two large beds (king and a queen). Each bedroom has a Roku TV that can be used with any of the streaming apps you have, the TV in the living room has basic cable.
No need to leave your furry family member at home as this house is pet friendly with a fenced in backyard.
We do have 4 beach chairs at this property available for your use.
-Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds.
*The building out back is just a shed.
Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.

Unfortunately we couldn’t stay there do to it being not clean and with cockroaches. Also dead flies, sand everywhere, GRILL that had MOLD on it, dust and dog hair everywhere, table not cleaned and so on . This house Being vacation rental I don’t expect too much but if you are paying that much money you should be able to come in to clean property especially with two infants. The property manager wasn’t very friendly and insisted that place was cleaned even when we showed him pictures that said otherwise.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this house. The screened in porch and fenced in backyard were a must for our dog. The walk to the beach was a little further than we were used to, but it was worth it for a standalone house (not sharing with other renters).

The house was a great size for our family of 4 plus our sweet dog. Proximity to the beach was great for walking or riding the golf kart we rented. The fenced in yard was wonderful for our dog. The beds were comfortable and the AC was SO COLD and amazing in these sweltering summer months. I gave the house a 5 star rating overall because it met our family's needs perfectly. My only issue would be on cleanliness... the linens were fresh and clean, however it the floors were still pretty sandy/dirty and there was still quite a bit of dog hair in most corners from whoever stayed previously.

The location was spot on for our trip to Isle of Palms. Great distance from the restaurants and shopping and a quick walk to beach access.

The house did have all we needed to have an enjoyable stay. The busy road did have traffic noise, but the easy walk to the beach made up for it. The property manager was great and responsive. I would recommend, especially if you have a pet!

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was quick to respond when we had a question. The fenced in yard was great and the hose was a plus after a beach visit with our dog. The outdoor shower was also useful. More than enough room for 4 adults and a dog...and plenty of hot water. Overall, a very comfortable home less than a 5 minute walk to the beach!

Good property and well located with easy access to town (rented bikes and rode everywhere) and super easy access to beach. Online photos are a bit misleading regarding the yard - its really overgrown in the back yard if you're traveling with pets or want to utilize the space. Also the shed in the back really needs to be fenced off to keep pets from getting in and around it. Also would suggest investing in mosquito sprayer for back yard. But I do want to stress we did enjoy the stay and notes above are just some feedback for owner.

This house works well for us during our holiday stay! It is close to the beach for morning and evening walks with our dogs. The fenced in backyard is very nice. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking.

That’s our new name for this sweet, little quaint bungalow on the island. It was exactly what we were looking for. Pet friendly. So clean. Comfortable furniture. Beds are amazing. Perfect location. Walk to the beach (2 streets back). Public walk access on each block. Quick drive to many eats and shops. This is a must stay!! Don’t pass it up. Booking again NOW for our next stay.

Our first time in the Isle of Palms area and we will certainly return. I cannot give a 5 star rating because of some items that can’t be ignored. Empty soap container in kitchen, cheese on the butcher block in the kitchen, dishes in the dishwasher and we pulled a pitcher out of the cabinet with sand all over it. I asked my husband what he thought and he was disappointed with the yard. Overgrown and hadn’t been mowed. The water-hose looked like it had just been used, unrolled on the ground. We bought soap, coat hangers and emptied the dish washer after we used it. Tried to leave better than we found it. Overall, communication with owners was spot on and we enjoyed the stay and the house. Did not merit a 5 star review though.

My husband and I stayed at this Palm Blvd house with our two German shepherds and we had an absolutely fantastic stay! It is about a 5-7 minute walk to the beach and about a mile to the town of IOP. The fenced yard is perfect for pups, the two bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen is well stocked with anything you could need for cooking meals at home! The bathrooms could use some updates as they did feel a bit dingy and even a little unclean due to some visible wear and tear, but otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

This is a nice house in a great location. It is located in a very accessible spot with plenty of parking. Restaurants and businesses are close, as is the beach. Robert was accessible via cell phone and was really nice and pleasant to deal with. I will definitely book here again.
