Lovely place to visit

Great location lots of lovely walks

Absolutely great. Seen the Ospreys. A beautiful bridge in Carrbridge. The Old Cart Horse Bridge.

My Son and my two small dogs stayed last year. It was a great location. Clean and tidy.

Can’t fault anything.

great accomodation in outstanding location

very comfortable accomodation - surprisingly spacious. Very well equiped kitchen . A lovely veranda to sit out on. Very quiet overnight. A great location for visiting all local attractions, Cairngorm, Loch Garten ospreys, Loch Morlich walks etc and plenty of local places to eat of high quality.

Poppy Lodge was a lovely place to stay, clean and had everything you needed and was in a great area

Poppy Lodge was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Good location for walks with our dog and not far from Aviemore which had lovely shops. Lots of places to explore that weren't that far away.

It is situated in a lovely part of the country with lots to do for families (particularly children 7+).

The location was good and caravan was well stocked.

Although the property was advertised as a lodge, it is a caravan and therefore the level of comfort reflected that.

Perfect base for a family holiday

Excellent base for a family holiday in the Highlands. Homely and comfortable with everything you need. After a small problem with the oven, the owners got it sorted out and the communication from them was spot on. Would highly recommend poppy lodge and will be re-booking for next year's holiday. Boat of Garten is perfectly placed if you like an active holiday with beautiful walks and bike tracks and five minutes from Aviemore.

Well located lodge, lots of walks nearby, hotel and restaurant were very good and within 5 minute walk. Very clean and well equipped lodge giving us a comfortable stay.

The property is very cozy. It has all facilities that we needed for our stay. It is also will located, we could visit many places, enjoying our trip knowing that at the end of the day, we would be back to a nice and safe place.

The lodging was a bit tricky to find, however the Host was available to give all directions we need.

Not a lot of work surface space to prepare food on. Not any spare towels no DVD player and Netflix didn’t work as internet wasn’t very good.

Come to boat of garten

Location superb ,facilities first class ,wouldnt hesitate to stay again ,so much to see and do in the area ,weather was good to which was a bonus !

great location, comfortable static caravan with all mod cons.

excellent location. gas heating and cooker. property clean and has everything you need for cooking.

if towels are to be charged separately this must be very clearly stated in the description, remove photos with towels etc. also update photos to remove DVD collection etc as no longer have this post covid. v disappointed in boat of garten holiday park owners that they still don’t provide recycling facilities on site even though the waste Scotland regulations came into force in 2012 and it is a legal requirement. I will contact the park owners separately about this. it sets a terrible example to all visitors in such an area of natural beauty that we don’t even recycle our waste and dump it all in together with food.

great wee place , cosy comfortable and would recommend

we loved that we could take along our dog , good proximity to places we wanted to explore

mattresses could be upgraded and perhaps less glasses 😊 struggled to find space for groceries

owner kindly let us check in early which was welcome, plenty of space for two adults and two dogs

shower and heating excellent! as was all the kitchen utensils & crockery

disappointed there wasn’t a iron, both my husband and I looked everywhere.

Amazing!!

The lodge was a perfectly ideal place for us. It was compact but equipped with everything we needed. Its surrounding was very tranquil and safe. The hosts were very kind and helpful. We would highly recommend it!!!
