About this house rental
Kurrajong Village Delight is your "Home Away from Home" ...
Walking distance to Kurrajong Village, with its sweet cafes, stunning views across the Hawkesbury and Sydney, and a wonderful community feel.
Located at the base of the Blue Mountains and on the edge of the National Park, Kurrajong offers excellent mountain hikes and trails. The scenery surrounding the village is that of rolling green landscapes, and the region is renowned for its art, architecture and history.
Bells Line of Road has fabulous attractions, suitable for all tastes, day trips in every direction. Head up the mountains through Kurrajong Heights for magnificent views, then onwards to Bilpin "Land of the Mountain Apple" and Mount Tomah Botanical Gardens, which features cool climate plants from around the world. Another favourite is Wildwood Gardens which has a unique gift shop! These are just a few of the fantastic places to visit along Bells.
In the opposite direction, you have all the wonders that the Hawkesbury River has to offer. Historic townships of Richmond and Windsor have great restaurants, cafes, galleries and markets. For a longer day trip take a drive through the lovely rural area of East Kurrajong towards Colo, Sackville and Portland. The river countryside is seriously superb.
Kurrajong is popular for wedding guests with some of the most prestigious venues for special occasions surrounding the village, including Lochiel House and Loxley on Bellbird Hill. Many wedding guests have stayed in the property over the years, to attend the wedding of friends and family.
For bird lovers, Kurrajong is a living paradise. Wake up to a chorus of birdsong - kookaburras, bell birds, whip birds, bowerbirds, parrots, cockatoos and wood ducks - to name just a few of our special residents.
Kurrajong Village Delight is pet friendly accommodation. In particular, the property caters for handlers of competition dogs who attend the wide range of dog shows that take place in the Hawkesbury. The property gives our champions and their owners a safe place to rest and relax after performing at their best.
If you are travelling with your pet, when making your reservation, please provide us with their type, breed, age - so that we can be sure the space is suited to them.
Come along and experience this beautiful part of the world, that is Kurrajong.

Lovely house with nice enclosed backyard for dog. Set well back off the road amongst a pretty leafy garden. Only a short drive to the local shops.

This was true to the listing and an extremely easy process the whole way through. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow, which was appreciated after a long travel day and a very late night arrival! Leah was a delight to correspond with and the house book was one of the best I have ever seen. Even though I didn’t travel with a dog, I have previously and to have information on what is available in the area when you do makes life much easier.
Extremely easy to navigate the area and stay out of the Sydney traffic!
