First of all it is NOT cleaned to CDC standards as it states. after talking to the cleaning lady the only thing that gets done in between guests is the sheets changed and the towels washed and sweep/mop. If you want dusting or a more in depth cleaning that is an extra 600 dollars. Second if you are in a wheelchair you need to know the doors to all of the bathrooms are only 24” wide and that was from door frame to door frame. You also have the door in the way so they are even smaller. My husband is a quadrapelgic and the only room he could get into was the master bedroom. There is a window in the room that looks out over the valley with no curtains at all. The sliding door that leads from the master bedroom to the deck had about 3 of the panel blinds missing so anyone who was in the kitchen, dining room, or playing pool could see straight into the master bedroom. I had to put a sheet up so we could have privacy. Also the wall plug in the master bedroom does not have a plug cover. We ended up hanging our clothes in the bathroom because the closet smelled so badly. The back deck is covered in spiderwebs and I would suggest not sitting on the furniture outside on the deck. My father-in-law sat in it and fell through bc the seat was rotted. He is maybe 150lbs. We rented this place bc we needed to be able to get my husbands lift under a bed. Definitely not worth it. For the ones in the disability community here is my email [email protected] I have pics and videos.

The house was beautiful. Plenty of room. The pictures were accurate. Enjoyed our stay!! No complaints. Absolutely loved the den area, was great for hanging out, the pool table was a plus! Would definitely stay again!

The property is very large and nicely decorated and furnished.

Great time in Chattanooga but wish I’d known the rental was in such a bad/industrial part of town.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. My family had a small, intimate family dinner here celebrating my Grandmother’s 93rd birthday. There was more than enough space for us all from the beautiful kitchen to the dining area. Although the space was open, a sliding glass door separates 2 of the larger spaces with TVs, so it was easy to watch the kids and keep them entertained while the rest of us had dinner and relaxed.
I loved how spacious and open it was. It being on one level meant that the most senior members of our family didn’t have a problem getting around.
Parking is definitely sparse as there isn’t any street parking. No more than 4-6 cars can fit, but our family was able to carpool so it was no issue. The view was wonderful. The back balcony was our favorite space, and the fire pit was the cherry on top.
Another unexpected favorite thing about the stay… They had a Kamado Joe grill, and it worked perfectly. My ribs tasted even better than usual lol. 😂

My first impression of the house was that it was a very cool mid century and that it was clean. We arrived on Wednesday and were very comfortable until freezing temperatures hit on Thursday night. We froze Friday and Saturday because the heating unit could not handle the freezing temperatures. We contacted Ryan about the fireplace not working and discovered the propane tank outside of the house had not been filled and was empty. His response was sorry for the inconvenience. The master bathroom has no heat at all.
We love visiting Chattanooga. Rock City Christmas night was amazing.

We stayed in this home from 12/16-12/28.
The home is upgraded and nice. We had issues with the heat though. The bedroom behind the garage and the room with the pool table both have wall units, and neither were working. The fire place and outside fire pit also didn’t have propane. We weren’t told that the propane was out and there was a delivery issue until we were already there and found out on our own. The wall units were supposedly working before our stay, but were only recirculating cold air for us. The property manager, Jen, was wonderful. She searched for us to have a space heater our first night so my son didn’t freeze out in that room. Two more heaters were finally delivered on the 27th in the afternoon. I just wish we had been told about the lack of propane before we came, we would have canceled and just stayed in our home in Atlanta that has a working fireplace and heat.

First and Foremost, Ryan was truly the best Host that I have ever experienced! Everything was on point, location of home was beautiful with views and convenient to everything. House is breathtaking with all the beauty and being a modern style home! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Just the perfect location and home away from home for our family. Camp Lux will definitely be our first choice when traveling to Chattanooga.

We really enjoyed our stay in the house. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nice. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans cups, glasses and appliances. The den with the pool table and large checker game was a big hit. The house was nicely decorated and in a nice neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the pool table!

Wonderful home and host, will def be staying again!

We had a great time. The house is interesting because it is mid century modern. Loved the sky lights. Convient to down town attractions. Plenty of room, good net work connection, and interesting area.
4.7
Me and three friends stayed in this house while we were in Chattanooga for a Pro-Am golf tournament. The location was 20 to 25 minutes from both courses played. House was clean, beds were very comfortable. The gas grill was very nice, and the pool table was of high quality.
Would use this house again for this trip that we take most every year.
4.7
The property was clean & well-stocked. There was plenty of room for our party of 8 (4 moms, teens). Ryan was very attentive & responded quickly when communication was needed. The neighborhood itself was quiet & perfect for nightly walks. The area down the road, toward town was a little less appealing. We had to drive a ways for good grocery store/restaurant options. For our visit (wanting to be near several softball complexes) the location was perfect! Overall, our stay could not have been better & Ryan could not have been a more hospitable host! Would definitely stay here again if we ever play in Chattanooga!

This was a beautifully renovated home! Tons of space for larger families and all on one level. Very nice modern decor throughout the home. We spent most of our time in the pool room so we could visit while taking turns playing pool with the kids. Was a little too hot for us so we weren’t able to enjoy the outdoor seating and grill area but it is definitely nice for anyone wanting to grill out. The bedrooms were spacious, beds very comfortable, and bathrooms were stocked with more amenities than any hotel I’ve ever been to. The coffee bar has a coffee pot and a keurig and was well stocked with a variety of kcups and my favorite mugs(Rae Dunn). Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could ever need. All the extra little details like magazines, moon pies, mints, cookbooks, coffee, etc. were very thoughtful and truly appreciated. We really had no issues arise during our stay but I did have a few questions and Ryan was very helpful and quick to reply. Overall my favorite home we’ve rented out so far.

Modern Retreat
The property was located on a hill, very quiet and peaceful. Enough room for 7 of us. We didn’t use half of the area. Bed were comfortable and Lenin were clean. The place is well stocked with soft clean smelling towels. Kitchen was clean, multiple dishes to cook in. Would definitely return back to use rest of the area in future. Kids had fun with grandparents and everyone had individual bedrooms. Grandpa was impressed with shower pressure too.

Great House
We enjoyed our stay. House was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and well stocked, even with things you don't typically find at a rental home, such as paper products, dishwasher and laundry detergent, and even condiments and spices. House is located at the top of a ridge in a quiet neighborhood. The nearby town of Rossville is kind of run down with not many good restaurant choices or things to do, but you're only about 12-15 minutes to downtown Chattanooga by car. We were able to get out and about and see all the sights very easily from this location. Smooth check in/check out process and good communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend the home to anyone traveling to the Chattanooga area!
4.7
Great location
The house was great for our family gathering. Being one level was good as we have family members with limited mobility. Additionally we needed parking for an RV and the driveway accommodated that. The location was convenient
to downtown Chattanooga and area attractions.

The mid-century modern home made us all feel as if we were living in the Brady Bunch house(not the layout but decor)! Everything about it was absolutely awesome - the pool table, the flow of living space and bedrooms, the back porch and most beautiful was the kitchen with picture perfect scenic full window over the sink! The natural light coming In atop the full roofline skylights were amazing and the comfy beds killed us to sleep along with the soothing nature sounds outdoors! Fantastic stay, beautiful home and excellent host!

Very beautiful home built in the 50’s or 60’s but very nicely renovated. There was lots of room to spread out. We loved the natural light. Kitchen was well stocked and master bath and bedroom was beautifully done with lots of space. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Ryan!

Our family stayed here for a long weekend to hang out in Chattanooga. The house was extremely well-equipped, clean and beautiful! We loved the mid-century decor and relaxing out on the back deck by the fire. The owner was extremely responsive to all of my email questions, checking in was a breeze and we walked in to a cozy fire when we arrived. Very easy and short access to all Chattanooga has to offer. Highly recommended- we will be back!

This is not a five star property but I paid five star prices. Firstly, the house is not in a good area. Secondly, the owner claims he sanitizes and charges a cleaning fee. But the house is dirty and fell short in a bad way. There was dust on the nightstand and headboard and a cobweb over my bed. The kitchen was dirty…fingerprints on the cabinets, dirty stovetop and microwave and oven. Plants are dead or dying. The living room fireplace emits a flame equivalent to a bic lighter.
Lastly, I tried communicating with the owner during my stay, through the Vrbo app and his cell phone. But he did not respond. Conveniently claims he did not receive my messages. Then blamed me for not communicating. Then asserted that my complaints were not actionable. So it appears he did receive my messages and chose to ignore them. He never apologized for the state of the house. Nor offered any concession. The owner doubled his prices for the holidays. I feel taken advantage of.
The bottom line is if you have an issue at this property, don’t expect anything from this owner. He’s in it solely for the money. It is shocking that he takes no responsibility. And Vrbo has attempted to reach out to the owner and he’s not responding. Unbelievable that he operates this way!
