If you prefer to relax at home some evenings, you won't be missing out with this incredibly cute backyard! Featuring a full patio, lighted lounge area and cozy fire pit to relax with your family and friends. This rental is complete with self check in, WiFi, Roku enabled television (use your own passwords for streaming services), central A/C and heating, brand new memory foam mattresses, and a full kitchen. Shower and bathroom toiletries, linens and towels will be supplied. Perfect for family vacations, a friends' weekend getaway, and bachelorette parties! How was adorable. We definitely enjoyed the porch and fire pit out back. Decorations were cute. Place was really clean. Definitely would book again. House is a 3 minute walk from the strip. Great location.

The house was perfect for our party of 9! The back yard has enough seating and we were able to walk to the main strip. The beds were all comfortable and everything was as described.

I threw together a bachelorette party last minute and this place appeared just in time. It had plenty of room for the 6 ladies and I. We were able to walk everywhere which was a BIG plus. The backyard was awesome and we spent both evenings around the fire. Just a few minor things which wouldn't stop us from coming here again were the ants on the kitchen walls but had kitchen bug spray there which we used and the creamer provided for coffee was curdling. Other than that, this was a weekend we will never forget.

My husband, myself and five of our children stayed here for one night en route from Boston to Cincinnati. We arrived after dark (6:30pm) after a long drive. It was cold and snowy, everyone was tired and hungry. My husband went out to find food, I stayed to bathe the kids and get them ready for bed. We found that there was no hot water. We ran it a bit excessively to see if it would warm up given the below freezing temperatures but there was nothing. We tried again in the morning to no avail. We contacted the owner, who had texted to let us know they were out of the country. They did respond promptly, but there was no resolution. I said we would like a refund to which he responded that he would have it checked out and get back to us. Two days later having heard nothing I sent a message to the owner. He stated that “someone went to the house that night and after letting the water run it warmed up” He refunded us $50 for the inconvenience and said the $50 discount he offered before booking (the amount agreed upon as a last minute booking discount) would be considered as compensation. We booked this place instead of a hotel for the purpose of having the comforts of home for the night in the middle of a long trip. Rather than a quiet, comfortable night as a family we found ourselves wishing we’d just gotten a hotel room as we spent the night troubleshooting the water issue, heating pots of water on the stove, contacting the owner and VRBO. The $50 offered in compensation does not sufficiently compensate for the inconvenience or for time lost. The home, while cute, is more like a lake house/cabin. There is mouse poison in the kitchen and LOTS of steel wool, signifying a rodent issue. The bedrooms are tiny, three on the second floor and one on the first. The first floor bedroom is actually a drafty, unheated sunroom on the front of the house with windows into the living room and dining room. The stairs are exceptionally steep, so much so that we opted to keep our smaller children downstairs sharing the sunroom space with us for fear they may fall down the stairs. The town is outdated, and in the summer probably has its own sort of quaint retro charm. Sadly, nothing at all was open, sidewalks were not shoveled, streets were not well plowed. The parks allowed no access to the lake, which was our reason for choosing this location for our overnight stop (to see the Great Lakes). Overall, we were disappointed and unimpressed.

My time at Spencer House was pleasant. My host was friendly and shared great information about the area. The home offered a comfortable and cozy stay. We appreciate the attention to detail and the supplies that are needed for a large family cooking for the holiday. Thanks for making are time together such a blessing.

This house worked well for 7 friends who were celebrating one of our friends recently retiring. The house was equipped with everything we needed except we could have used one more chair at the table. Not only did we use the table for eating, but we used it to play games. We also used the pit fire. The house was equipped with plenty of beds. We were close to everything we wanted to do.

This was the best rental my family had ever stayed in. The pictures don’t do the property any justice! The house is beautifully, clean, fully stocked, and literally decorated straight out of a magazine - it’s gorgeous! Niko was a great host and had the house fully stocked with everything we needed and more! Our party had 9 guests ranging in ages 2 the whole way up to 80 - and the house accommodated everyone’s needs. Make sure to build in enough time to enjoy the beautiful backyard and fire pit!! Will definitely be back!

This place meet all of our expectations while here 4 our family reunion. Very clean, all the amenities you would ever need, bathroom upstairs & down, large kitchen, full size washer & dryer. Location is walking to everything; Eddies Grill, Mary Kitchen, Madson donuts, Firehouse winery…..everything but yet down a quiet dead end street. Highly, highly will rent again here. We just loved it. A++++

This adorable house was in a perfect spot located on a quiet side street right down town. We loved being able to walk right down to the strip. Everything was extremely clean and well put together. We really loved the extra touches that the owner supplied to go above and beyond, waters, soap, etc. The porch and fire pit was perfect and we spent quit a bit of time enjoying it. We plan on coming to this specific property again. 😌
