About this house rental
There's just something about our cozy, comfortable farmhouse that keeps people coming back again and again. Purple Haze Lavender Farm was one of the first lavender farms planted and cultivated in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley and has since become one of its most beloved.
Purple Haze is a working farm that is open to the public, so if solitude and privacy are a priority, our farmhouse may not be right for you. Visitors are welcome to walk the grounds, including near the farmhouse, during visiting hours. Likewise, farm and gardening staff may be present at any time. That said, the farm opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. so before and after hours, you typically have the place to yourself.
Our farmhouse is plumbed to a small, single family septic system, so "septic system protocol" must be followed at all times. Likewise, all of the bedrooms are on the second floor and share a bathroom. There is another 3/4 bath downstairs that also features a
1–2-person sauna. Our farmhouse is "old-fashioned" in these and other respects, and that is part of its charm.
We invite you to enjoy a one-of-a-kind stay in our well-appointed, peaceful farmhouse overlooking the lavender fields and weeping willow trees.

Well equipped and cozy. Hot tub was a plus on this rainy August weekend. Very close to Olympic Discovery Trail for biking.

The location and cabin were both incredible. Just sitting on the front porch smelling the lavendar was great way to start your day before heading into the national park

We had three nights in the old farmhouse. Just the cutest place, with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious and super clean. The setting can’t be beat, especially on a lovely evening. We enjoyed a walk around the lavender fields and sitting on the porch relaxing.
Communication with the host was great and we definitely felt welcomed.
A lovely stay!

Wonderful stay. Six adults — plenty of space. Very clean and well appointed. Located within the lavender farm was an added bonus. Would love to return.

We had a great time. The scenery was amazing, and the location was quiet and relaxing. Since the home is slightly removed from the lavender farm you have the appropriate amount of privacy, while still being able to watch families and tourists traverse the lavender fields. We had a wonderful time sitting on the front porch people watching while sipping coffee. I would definitely go back in the future. The lavender wasn't quite in bloom when we were there, but I am sure it is a sight to see if you happen to be there when it is.

We were very impressed with every aspect of our stay. Everything we needed was available. Furniture, kitchen tools, big comfy chairs. Extra pillows and blankets. Will be back for another visit.

Cutest farmhouse with plenty of room for three of us. The kitchen was great; we did a moderate amount of cooking and it had everything we needed to do so. The fireplace was enjoyable and there was great lighting over the huge table for doing puzzles. The location was excellent for a home base getting out and around to see some sights. We would definitely come back and would love to experience the lavender in full bloom! It was also fun to walk up to the gift shop.

My 2 friends and I were happy we found this place on VRBO. 3 bedrooms worked out great for us (bedding is very comfortable) and the kitchen suited our needs. Lovery gardens, front porch and neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again any time of year. Central location to visit the Olympic peninsula sites. Thank you, we made memories here!

Purple Haze Lavender Farm and the Lavender Farmhouse is such a special place. Every comfort you could ask for and unique touches that you can't find anywhere else. My absolute favorite moments were just walking outside in the early morning and smelling all of lavender on the air. Jennifer and her staff are everything you want in a host ~ we can't wait to come back. P.s. our dogs loved it!!!!!

Originally chose this place due to proximity to Olympic national park. Its location on a lavender farm plus the friendly staff turned out to be other great advantages to this place. The house’s size, furniture, and beautiful landscaping made our stay quite pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

We call this our “Summer Home”. Every year my family looks so forward to this 5 day-4 night stay. This was our 5th year staying here. It never fails to be absolutely amazing. The sleep is incredible and we leave feeling so refreshed. We love the sound of the sprinklers in the field through the night, the soft smell of lavender in the air, and the sound of the geese in the morning that are so happy and chatting away! We enjoy watching the joy that the visitors get during the day, many dressing up and meandering through the fields, but the best part is in the evening when it’s all to ourselves. We appreciate the workers at the farm and all the hard work they do. We super appreciated the eggs, flowers, and the loganberries were spectacular! Thank you for another great year, cannot wait and hope to be there again next year!

Gorgeous location, relaxing getaway with plenty of room for 3 couples to enjoy each other’s company.

The house was clean, with a rustic quality expected of a farmhouse. The host was kind and responsive. The lavender farm atmosphere is unparalleled. Our stay was quiet, comfortable and relaxing. The only thing worth noting for potential for improvement would be the shower/tub. The shower door looked like it needed a thorough deep clean and the upstairs bath tub did not drain well..These are likely easy fixes and don't necessarily speak to the quality of the house but rather the cleaning crew. Other than a few nosy customers poking around the house during business hours, we were mostly left undisturbed. Overall, I would highly recommend!

The lavender farm is a beautiful oasis, especially in the middle of summer. theres plenty of space for a family to stay here, everyone has plenty of privacy. There’s a steam room in one of the bathrooms and that was really nice to use. We can’t thank Jennifer enough!

I stayed here with my son as we explored Olympic National Park, and it was a perfect home base in every way.
Purple Haze was the most amazing vacation property I’ve ever visited— hotel, B&B, resort, rental, you name it. This place is so incredibly beautiful, it’s like living in a dream. The smells of lavender and roses fill the air, sunsets brought me to tears. I slept better than I have in years. The host left us a lovely gift basket of farm goods, there was an ice cream shop on site. The hot tub and steam room were amazing after long days of hiking and biking.
If this home is available during your trip, book it. The pictures can’t illustrate the beauty of this spot. You won’t regret it!

This has been one of our favorite places to stay! The farmhouse feels homey as soon as you walk in the door - exactly like a home-away-from-home should. Our party was two couples in town to attend a cycling event, and this was a perfect way to rest and recharge between rides. We made dinner with a third couple with the well-equipped kitchen. Overall, it made for a perfect weekend…the only thing I could have asked for is those almost bursting lavender buds to break through. I’m sure it’s magical there in full bloom!
We were lucky enough to experience bald eagles nesting on the property, too! They are amazing to watch and especially listen to!

My husband and I have been here before and have always loved this property. Quiet, but close to town. Enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, the wildlife, fresh farm eggs on arrival and the farm animals that came for a visit. Most of all it's pet friendly and our dogs loved it (and the dog park near by). A nice getaway before the holidays start.

The lavender was not in season but that did not take away from the beauty of this property. We vacationed with 4 adults and a dog and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the night sky. The owner dropped off fresh eggs at arrival. Yes there are chickens on the property. We will definitely be back and recommend to others

This lavender farmhouse is even more charming than we expected. Created by a gardening genius with Enticing curb appeal around every corner. The interior is also well put together with heirloom furnishings, comfy bedding, and very artsy appeal. Our entire family truly adored our stay here.

A Little Slice of Heaven…
This is our second time staying at Purple Haze Lavender Farm, and we were just as enchanted as the first time we saw this gem! The Lavender farm is just magical and it so special to stay on the grounds and have the chance to wander around after all the visitors have left. The house itself is a dreamy, well-built, craftsman-style home with all the ammenities including a fully stocked kitchen, a sauna, and a hot tub. The gardens and lavender fields are simply breathtaking, and we loved being able to shop in the gift store and enjoy lavender ice cream in the backyard! The only drawback to this property is that you have to be ok with random people walking around, as it is a fully operational tourist destination. I only wish there was a fence or something around the immediate perimeter of the house because people ignored the privacy signs and literally put their noses up to the windows to peer in the house. If you stay in the house, take the opportunity to explore all that Sequim and vicinity have to offer…it’s a great way to avoid the crowds of visitors during the day. Trust me, there is plenty of fun to be had on and around the farm! We can’t wait for another opportunity to pretend we live on a lavender farm! Thank you for letting us enjoy the magic!

Beautiful house and setting
We really enjoyed this house and it’s garden surrounded by the fragrant lavender fields. The house was perfect for the five of us for three nights. We are a group of retired friends who enjoy hiking. Jennifer, the host, was very communicative and responsive to our questions.
An added bonus was the lavender store with all kinds of lavender goodies!

Lavender fields forever
So happy to get a chance to stay here. The surroundings were calming and beautiful. Sequim was a stopping point on our Olympic Nat'l Park/WA adventure and it did not disappoint. The tide pools and dungeness spit nearby were easy attractions, Next Door in Port Angeles for lunch was our best meal on vacation. There is plenty to do in the area but would also be great to just enjoy the property. Inside, outside all had nice areas for us to spread out after being in a hotel for a few nights. The front porch and enjoying the gardens and fields in the morning and evening were my favorite part. We snapped some photos as we celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary. Our daughters also had a great time dressing up and taking photos. If you get the chance book it, you won't be disappointed! Host was very friendly and communicated well. Farmhouse felt very welcoming and comfortable.
