About this house rental

LeGros Chateau is French for "The Big House" and that it is! Plenty of room for your entire family and just steps away from all that downtown Dells has to offer! ROKU TVs in the living room and all 4 bedrooms! You'll love relaxing on the wrap around porch day or night. You'll appreciate the private vanity sinks in 2 of the bedrooms, and a deep soaking tub in the queen suite, plus a newly remodeled bathroom with dual shower heads and a second full bath in the lower level! SPORTS FANS... we are steps away from Just A Game (JAG) Fieldhouse and a short drive to Woodside Sports Complex.

You have full use of the first and second floor of the house, including the porch and yard, as well as the lower level 2nd bathroom and private desk/work area. The attic and garage are locked (no access), as they are our personal storage areas.

The house was as advertised. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. It was just steps away from the main strip, and right by the Sunday farmer’s market. Technically walkable to most attractions, though some are likely far for some. I would suggest they add coasters, as we noticed a ring on the pion when we arrived, and there is a lot of nice wood furniture. We will definitely look at staying here again when we return.

The location of this property was excellent! So close to downtown amenities. The house was the perfect space for our family.

We loved staying in the house. The bedrooms were spacious and it looks beautiful. Location can’t be beat for easy access to the main strip in the Dells. Easy parking and easy to find. We came on one of the hottest weeks so far this summer and there was definitely use of the window A/C units and ceiling fans. Glad they were there, even if window units can be a bit noisy. We recommend this house highly!

Beautiful home within walking distance of the main street. Nice little grocery down the road. Bedrooms and bathrooms are all either down or upstairs, so a little difficult for older folks.

House is accurately described. It was immaculate and perfect for our home base. Connie was quick with any and all responses. Would definitely recommend and hope we have an opportunity to return!

The was great. Close to everything: bowling alley, grocery store bakery and many downtown activities Dells upper boat tours was a short walk away. Multiple restaurants to choose from. If you like mac & cheese, then Macs is the place to go. Connie was a great hostess She responded within minutes to any question. Would stay again on a future visit.

Our family gathered together to celebrate Thanksgiving/Christmas. We came from Milwaukee, Seattle & Madison. This was a perfect home to spend time together. It was a very convenient location. It was very charming with all its Christmas decorations. We would stay here again.

Wonderful home situated in Downtown Wisconsin Dells perfect for walking and exploring. Super clean home with so many amenities for small children and infants. Fully accessorized kitchen makes family meals easy. Beds were all very comfortable Communication with the host was fast and easy. The public library across the street is wonderful and has a great kids section with wonderful games and crafts. Can’t ask for a better location in downtown Dells. My family really enjoyed it.

It's not easy to get the family together for a vacation once your kids become adults and start to have kids of their own and full time careers. Renting this house in the Wisconsin Dells was perfect for us and the pet friendly part was awesome. What a nice home in a quiet neighborhood , but also close enough to walk to the main drag and grab some dinner or gift shop. Thank you.

Our kids and grands(9,11,16) stayed here for two nights. Clean, quiet and convenient location for walking downtown. Accommodations were perfect for our family. Quaint Victorian house with wrap around porch, large kitchen and dining room. Thanks 🙏 Connie!!

Location is Amazing!

Location is Amazing!

Perfect spot, close to everything but the foot traffic. It is one block away from the main street in WI Dells. Excellent porch for relaxing with a cup of coffee and visiting with friends. The house is clean and unique. The owner has an amazing family history in the Dells. Thank you Connie for your wonderful hospitality. Next time we will need to go to the Drive In. It rained on the night we planned to go. Thank you for everything.

Right in the downtown area, down the street from Maurer's Market the house was a great location. We were able to walk to the market, the downtown, local restaurants and shopping. The house is clean and spacious and a great place to sleep and make family dinners. Thank you, we had a great time.

This house is so great! Older house with lots of character, incredible location (within walking distance to great restaurants, a small grocery store and fun activities), and great communication with the owners! We had zero issues during our stay and would absolutely stay here again/recommend to others! There were 9 of us (4 adults, 4 kids ages 5-10, and one 10 month old) and the house was perfect for our families!

This house is charming and spacious. Loved the historical feel with modern updates. We had 4 adults and 2 pre-teen kids, and there was plenty of room for everyone. (Noticed a lot of very thoughtful amenities for small children too!) Loved that we were able to bring our dog. Beds and bedding very comfortable, lots of towels. Home was clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. One block off of Broadway, yet neighborhood was quiet and safe. Grocery store down the street was super convenient. Chalet Lanes just steps away had delicious food & affordable bowling. Host Connie was wonderful to work with- will definitely stay again!
