About this house rental
Enjoy your stay in this cozy newly remodeled lakefront ranch-style home just 15 minutes south of Omaha. Wake up to the beautiful and serene lake right out your back patio and spend your day enjoying the beach area and outdoor patio. At night, you can share drinks around the fire pit. The open living space of this newly renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bath makes it the perfect spot to enjoy family and friends.
This vacation rental is stocked with all the extras. The Inside features two bedrooms - Bedroom 1 features a Queen Bed, a large closet, and a 32-inch smart TV and Bedroom 2 features a full-size bed, twin-size bunk beds, a large closet, and a 32-inch smart TV. The dining area seats 8 with an extra sitting area. The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances, an air fryer, coffee maker, blender, grilling accessories, pots and pans, dinner set for 8, and more. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo and is stocked with lots of towels. The comfy living room features a couch, loveseat, and 55inch smart tv. The home also has a washer and dryer for your convenience.
For your lake needs, we provide LOTS of floaties, toys for playing in the sand, beach towels, a Coleman cooler, and two cruiser bikes! Outdoors we have bags boards, a propane grill (with propane provided), a fire pit, and a patio table/chairs with an umbrella.
Parking is included with 2 spots in front of the garage and 3 spots behind the garage close to the front door.

We loved the location but were a little bit disappointed by the property itself. The decor was beautiful, and the overall vibe was nice, but it needed some upkeep. The door to the bathroom would not close easily, and one of my teens was nearly in a panic until I showed her that she could close it if she shoved very hard with her hip. The steps to the small beach area were broken, and there was no handrail. I think the most disappointing thing, however, was that there were individual AC units in each room that kept things cool, but were so loud that it made it difficult to watch TV or have much of a conversation. I contacted the owner and told her that the coffee maker was blinking that it needed descaling, and she said that she would get me the necessary materials but then failed to follow through. It is probably a fair property considering the price, but I think that next time we will spend a little more for an extra bathroom and a central air that functions well.

Nice house. It was quiet nice neighborhood. We didn’t see the lake toys until we were leaving though. No beach but still fun to hang out in the water and used the kayak.

The location to Phoenix Equestrian Center is perfect! We stayed for a weekend horse show and it was super convenient to run back and forth for chores and the show. Evenings at the fire pit and kayaking were a great way to end the evening. Beds are comfortable as well. All supplies needed were included and saved on packing. Highly recommend, and we will be back!

Poor first impressions colored our long anticipated stay here. Only communication with owner was an email telling us we’d be subjected to fines of up to $1,000 if we violated lake rules, with the same message taped at eye level to the front and rear doors, obscuring the only clear view of the lake. Once inside, we were overwhelmed by the cloying smell of plug in air “fresheners.” Moldy coffee grounds in the drip coffee maker, a spent K-cup in the Kuerig and crusted garbage in the bottom of the garbage can with the unclose-able lid, dusty plastic plants, missing bolts on the patio table, rusted chains and nearly flat tires on the cruiser bikes - hard to feel we were welcome and appreciated guests. Compared to its neighbors, this property is obviously neglected. The lawn is mostly dirt and weeds and a large broken limb hovers over the patio.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving celebration with family members at this property. It was perfect! Great kitchen and dining set up. Really cozy and clean. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Too cold for the lake but we’ll be back again in warmer weather! Thank you so much.

I had a lot of trouble signing into Vrbo to double check things such as what to do when leaving. Hope we did everything we were supposed to.
The furniture wasn't very comfortable - couch sagged, dining table benches were uncomfortable as they were hard and no backs. Since we played a lot of games, our backs go a little tired. Otherwise, it was well stocked, clean and a great place to sit outside by the lake and visit.

We LOVED the place! So well decorated, modern, and just how you'd dream an Air B&B would be. We went during the snow, and it was neat to see the lake frozen and we had a WHITE CHRISTMAS- score!
The area is so nice! We can't wait to go back another time when it's warmer and use the kayaks, bicycles, and firepit. But it is such a gorgeous area! Very kid friendly home, we appreciate that! The view is stunning. Arielle was such a doll and set up a Christmas tree for our stay, how thoughtful!
The furniture is very comfortable and not a detail has been forgotten. We had everything we needed to make home cooked meals every night.

We had the most amazing stay at this lake house! The place had everything we needed and more, it was SUPER clean, and tons of items for us to enjoy the lake. I saw reviews about water issues - we had absolutely NO issues and the water was great. There was also plenty of parking and space for all of us to spread out inside and outside. Our favorite part was the outdoor fire-pit and grill! The host was so responsive and helped us plan out things to do while in the area. We loved cat fish lake and going to the Zoo. Don’t hesitate at all booking this place - we had the most amazing time and can’t wait to come back!

We spent time by the lake watching fish. We also went to a small bike ride! Most of our time was spent relaxing inside! The lavender wall plug ins gave it an even more relaxing feel! The location is great, right on a lake. Kayaks and bikes were provided, though we had to clean them up to be able to use them.Access to the lake from the house is a little sketchy though, loose stones for steps, weathered railroad ties with large nails protruding, cinder blocks and other debris on the very tiny beach. Table outside was filthy with dried catsup and other food debris. There were beer cans in the back yard. Think we may have just caught this rental at a time when the cleaning was a little less than expected. Plenty of clean towels, bedding was nice, inside seating and dining area more than sufficient.

We had a great stay. The kids loved swimming in the lake and fishing. They caught 9 different species of fish! The house was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the hosts restaurant recommendations too. We highly recommend Stella’s. Their burgers were amazing!

You may want to have the water there checked. It smelled horrible with a strong river scent and light green color. Old man to the west was friendly. Young woman with the two large dogs to the east was also very nice. My grown son and I enjoyed just hanging out!

Perfect Get Away
Our family of 6 loved this cozy house on the lake. Location was perfect. It's only a 15-20 minute drive to the zoo and located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. I loved the boho vibe of the house. The kayaks, bikes, and beach area were a big hit. And the beds are super comfy! Loved it all!

Great place for a getaway!
The house was beautiful and had a ton of space for the four of us. It had everything we needed for out guy's weekend. The lake view was awesome and very calming. Arielle is a great property manager and got back to me quickly with answers. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate coming back.

Perfect Quiet Retreat
My daughter and I needed a convenient spot between Lincoln and Des Moines to meet for some much needed R&R. Only 15 minutes or from Bellevue the lake setting was beautiful and felt quiet and remote. The house was comfortable, clean and well stocked. We were able to prepare our meals, watch movies, go for walks and nap. We came in March for Spring Break so it might be more active in the summer. Delightful!

We are from Oklahoma. My husband and I met my sister and her husband from Minnesota for and long weekend. It is the perfect halfway mark for us. The home is really set up perfectly. It was nicely decorated, clean and had everything you need. Very homey. The view the sunsets were gorgeous! Definitely recommend!

My girlfriends and I met for a laid-back girls weekend getaway. The house was perfect--cozy, clean, and inviting! We made meals, watched movies, and visited the Little Bohemia in Omaha. It was a wonderful weekend, would highly recommend renting this house, it had everything we needed! The beds were comfy, lot of clean towels and blankets, and fully stocked kitchen.
