Perfect stay

The property was beautiful and the view is great. Very convenient place for family and friends stay. Property manager was so responsive and friendly. Got to meet him in person and received a very welcoming and friendly behavior which was even great. The property’s description on the listing vs. the actual service and place matches and is very satisfying. Will visit again. To sum up, it’s worth every spent and very reasonable. Looking forward to another trip. Thanks to the host. Great job!

This is a great location right on the water of Buzzards Bay. The house is very spacious and well-equipped. The manager was helpful and quick to respond to questions. If you are looking for a place to host a group, I highly recommend this rental !

Sixteen of us arrived on Friday night. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out as well as gather. The house is beautiful and the scenery was perfection! It rained all day on Saturday but we still had fun puttering around the house and enjoyed each other’s company. On Sunday we got to enjoy the great weather and gorgeous backyard and beach.
The only thing I can suggest is to supply a few more things in the kitchen like measuring cups, a hand mixer, masher, and pans that are in better shape. It would have made cooking for our large gathering a little easier.

We had an amazing experience at this property hosting a party to celebrate our post pandemic wedding. The property was perfect and our guests enjoyed the large yard and access to private beach. Would love to return to this property in the summer months. Just beautiful.

Although Hurricane Ophelia messed with the weather while we were there we still had an amazing trip. The home is located on 8 acres of ocean front property and the views were amazing. We weren’t able to spend much time outside but the grounds were beautiful. It’s an older home with a few glitches but the owner responded quickly to a couple of issues we had. The owner even came by to make sure we had all we needed and offered suggestions for restaurants, etc. We had a fantastic Cape Cod experience. We went whale watching, on a train tide, drove to Providence and all over the Cape and did a guided tour of Martha’s Vineyard. It was a memorable week and thus home was a great gathering place.

The house was absolutely amazing. It was very large, but still cozy. The sunset was unbelievable. Everything that we could (or couldn't) think of was already in the house. 5 Stars would rate higher if possible

In the past, our family has vacationed in the Finger Lakes region of New York state or on Lake Anna in Virginia. We decided to try something different this year and were very glad we did. The home was quite spacious and we really enjoyed the deck where we could catch the serenity of the beautiful mornings. Being in such close proximity to the little private beach area was also a plus. The grandkids especially loved that the water was so calm they could enjoy their paddle boards.
There was plenty of room for all of us so none of us felt crowded. Having an extra refrigerator was a welcomed addition as the "warm weather" drinks could be kept out there and not take up all the space in the kitchen fridge.
We were very fortunate to have beautiful weather the whole week we rented the house.
We all were fascinated with the railroad bridge that we could see from the property which would go down if a train was approaching then go back up and wait until another train would come.
There was so much in the area to explore as well.
We have talked about renting the home again next year.

The location is amazing, nice small private beach, huge lawn, great view, very nice kayaks.
Could use a refresh in toilets/showers and some of the beds
4.4
The twin bedroom was quite small. It must have been a bathroom remodel with the bed sort of inserted to make it a bedroom. Other than that we were very satistified.

Our family of 14 had a wonderful vacation! The location was private but within a short driving distance to amenities. The setting and views were magnificent! The private beach was great and the kayaks were a fun addition!…but for the price, the home is in need of maintenance, updating and tender, loving care.
We did have a great time and loved the area - also toured the Cape, Providence, Newport and Boston. All easy to get to!

Terrific location, plenty of space, very, very comfortable.
Small leak in an upstairs water pipe was resolved by calling in a plumber for quick fix.

Beautiful location, house was very nice and roomy. The sunroom is awesome, we had a great time.

Huge home and yard. Fully stocked.

Eight siblings and the house was perfect for our reunion. We had plenty of space to hang out in different rooms, even if you wanted to have quiet time for yoga! The view was amazing and everything we need was there! We had a memorial for our Dad, and the sunroom was perfect for it, and the large dining room. We will always treasure the memories from our stay there.

This property was exactly as listed. Very clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Room to everyone and nice little beach as well to enjoy.

The best thing about this property was its location. Right on the water, a mostly fenced in lawn and woods - great for our three dogs to run around in. And right on the water - kayaking and swimming, collecting shells, building sand castles, which was glorious for our three small children. And easily accessible first floor bedroom for an elderly woman. Shae also could easily maneuver to be able to get to the beach area. All in all - absolutely fantastic!

I sent a letter to owner, property manager and VRBO re my issues today. Beach and outdoor space was great - the rest was dirty, non-functional and awful especially for the money.

The house, the location, the facilities, everything was perfect for us.

Our experience at this home was nothing short of heaven. Michaella was an excellent communicator and very generous with suggestions when questions arose.
We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and turned the AC units on right away … one in all rooms downstairs and one for each bedroom (except for the twin suite). This was only for the 90 degree weather … once the week cooled off we turned off the AC and just opened windows… amazing breezes!
The beach was great as were the kayaks included with the stay. We used the propane grill for many of our dinners, and even organized a family Olympics on the huge lawn.
Trash pickup is on Friday, FYI, and the linen service picks up laundry on Monday and drops off fresh laundry on Thursday - helpful to know when making up rooms.
There is a carriage house in the property as a separate rental… we only overlapped with other renters the first and last nights we were there.
We discovered that the house used to be an old Friary… so much glorious history! Hope you love it like we did!

Location was spectacular beach was wonderful the east room facing the water fabulous. None of the beds were made and three of the bathrooms had trash in them (two of which were beer cans.) One of the bathrooms had hot water in the sink but not in the shower,( I ran the hot water for a full 20 minutes.)

Had a great family vacation. We had 9 adults and 5 children. The house had more than enough room for everyone. The best part was the private beach. The property manager was very attentive and responded quickly when we had questions.

Beautiful estate
Beautiful waterfront home with private beach and acres
of manicured landscaping. Our family of eleven truly enjoyed this home to gather in and share the outdoors and beach.
The outdoor deck which had more than enough seating is where we enjoyed all of our meals with gorgeous views. The home is spacious and accommodated all our needs. We will all remember the memories made here is this home.

This is a really unique property with lots of space and incredible views. Great place for a group or family outing!

We enjoyed the privacy
The house was perfect for our needs and the views were spectacular.

The house is great, very spacious with lots of amenities. The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The front (oceanside) sun room was where we spent the majority of our indoor time. We did spend a lot of time outdoors on the side patio having a few fires, on the deck and we took our chairs over the wall to get some beach time. The patio did not have furniture as pictured, we thought that might be because it is seasonal? The yard was unusable because of the geese droppings. There are multiple maintenance issues but nothing that stopped us from having a great long weekend!!

Our Xmas was extra special this year because we were hosting some dear family members from abroad. Wanting to gather under one roof for the holidays we rented this beautiful house on Buzzard’s Bay which provided the perfect space and surroundings to enjoy ourselves to the fullest. Michaella was a responsive host and the property logistics were seamless. We highly recommend this gem of a rental especially for a large group gathering for a special vacation or reunion.

The house and rooms are larger than the pics look. We were amazed by the beauty of the house. It was clean, plenty of bathrooms, great spaces to hang out together, plenty of places to tuck away from everyone too😊. We used each bedroom and everyone complimented the mattress they were on. No one in the trip was disappointed. Kitchen was fully loaded with dishes, utensils, spices, coffee and teas (left from prior guests). We did not need anything. There was charcoal left for the firepit, which we fully enjoyed, even in the misty gray weather we had, the whole time we were there. The weather may have kept us inside a bit more, there were plenty of things to do in the game rooms.
Our group was 12 adults and one dog. New Years Weekend Party.
Excellent communication with Michaella. There was an abundance of extra beddings and towels.
We have only positive things to say. Would love to return again.
Things we have no comment because we didn’t do- kid friendly, places in the area, swimming, view (it was foggy and raining our whole time), washer, dryer.
Thank you!

The pictures show a charming, spacious house in a beautiful location. In person, deferred maintenance is evident everywhere. If we had stayed in high season, I would have been disappointed by the condition of the house. I advise the owners put money into repairs before the summer.

loved the house and location! perfect for an indoor winter vacation. however, the house was a bit dirty (dirty towels left out, broken shower doors and other minor things) and run down. the heating and hot water worked but it took time to figure it out with lots of different thermostats that didn't do anything. the house does not have a bathtub as stated in the description. but overall I really liked the giant house. It's too bad that this house won't be around for much longer. they plan on tearing it down to build multiple houses. it explains why they don't update the house but just keep it good enough to rent.
