We enjoyed our stay. It doesn’t have central air but don’t let that stop you if you like to be cool inside on a hot day. Air conditioning works wonderfully. Lots of electrical outlets for your electronics. Tiny shower head looks deceiving but it works great!
The neighborhood is quiet yet within walking distance to everything. We enjoyed walking around town. Getting a meal, an ice cream treat or a coffee. We also enjoyed hiking and fishing along the river. Be sure to visit the visitors center and ask questions. The man there was very helpful.

The house was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures on the listing. The location was great. 10/10 would stay again.
Just a helpful piece of info : the cutting boards are glass, so maybe bring your own if thats not your preference. Not a complaint! Just a helpful comment to future visitors.

We were in Ohiopyle during the off-off season to visit Fallingwater. We had no idea that this tiny little town is a mecca for cyclists and whitewater rafters from April to October, which is why accommodations like this exist.
The cabin was sparkling clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the linens luxurious. The heat, hot water and water pressure were entirely satisfactory.
I can't imagine what this little town is like in the busy season, with thousands of tourists thronging the streets, but we'd be happy to return in the quiet months to get a better look at the area -- and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. If you're planning a cycling or river trip in high season, you should book early.
3 things you need to know:
1. Your mobile phone won't work, but there's an open WiFi network that will get you onto the Net before you get into the cabin -- and once inside, the WiFi is excellent.
2. Very little is open in the evenings during December, so bring your own food for dinner. The kitchen is great.
3. You may hear an emergency siren or freight trains coming through town at night. Just ignore them.

Beautiful location and good value on the rental property . Second bedroom needs ventilation. No window or second door in the room and it would be dangerous in the event of an emergency

A group of moms wanted somewhere halfway point between Ohio and Maryland and we came across this State Park and decided to give it a shot. Needless to say, we will be back!!! I also want to bring my husband and two kids back to show them what we discovered! We loved the rental, the location and the whole town was just cute and a lot of fun!

Sufficient for what we needed, but could really use some TLC. Location was very convenient to local activities, and once we found the right unit and how to get there it was fine, but not obvious at first. Instructions could have been a bit clearer.
The unit was ok. Bathroom could really use some updating - a new shower head would go a long way. Beds were too soft for our taste, and newer bedding would have been nice. Kitchen was well furnished, and house board games were a nice touch.
Overall seemed a bit pricy for what you got, but choices are limited in Ohiopyle so maybe supply and demand overruled.
