Beautifully crafted in 2007, this lakefront gem is just the place to let your worries slip away. This home sits on an acre-and-a-half lot that boasts 240 feet of lake frontage that will be ideal for fishing and swimming come summer. When you come up from the beach, an outdoor shower awaits to rinse off sandy toes and suits! Inside, you will find an airy and open layout featuring high cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows facing the water, rustic wood paneling, and a wood stove to cozy up beside after a full day of adventure. When everyone works up an appetite, the full kitchen is equipped with Corian countertops, oak cabinets, modern appliances, a spacious island, and a double sink to make any recipe a breeze. Relaxation won't be hard to come by either with a hammock, newer deck, comfortably furnished living areas, and the south-facing sunroom. Not to mention, the main bedroom offers an ensuite bathroom complete with a deep jetted tub to soak in each night.

The slow island lifestyle is the main draw in this area, as bonfires, boating, biking, and swimming are all great ways to use each day. When you need to grab a few necessities, the local market is less than a mile south to stock up on groceries. Not to mention, state parks and scenic drives to the other islands and cities nearby will be great for venturing out and experiencing the beautiful landscape this area is known for.

The cabin is dark, old, and worn. there has been little to no upkeep. The grass and weeds are overgrown. There has been ZERO landscaping done to make property appealing. It looks old and abandon. Entry into the home was quick and easy. Code was long but it worked on first try. The cabin smelt stale and musty like no one had used the home in awhile. There are portable air conditioners in every room but none where on and we arrived on an 80 degree day. Once inside and using the home it became clear to me and my family that this cabin was not clean. The cabinets in the bathroom were covered in grime. There was pee stains dripping down the side of the toilet. In the downstairs bathroom there are cracks in the wall covered in tape and the stand up shower is covered in black mold. Kitchen cabinets felt sticky with thick grime. The drawer under the stove was filled with crumbs. Anything I planned to use I had to wash thoroughly before using. The fridge was also dirty. The dust and cobwebs collected on ceiling light fixtures and ceiling fans through the home was so thick. Not only was cabin dirty but there is no beach access. It is a marsh covered lake front view. The advertised Jetted tub does not work. Kids were disappointed. I would suggest if you have an eye for detai, I would not recommend staying here.

The master bedroom is amazing! Lots of hot water. The door number code was a little dodgy but the staff at vacasa assisted right away. Cleaning staff was nice and gracious to follow up and make sure we got in okay. There are large loud dogs next door but they only bark when their owner gets home from work in the late afternoon. Great cabin getaway!!

The house was beautiful and super cozy! The only issues we had inside was with the air conditioner in one of the bedrooms and the bath jets wouldn’t work. In terms of outside we were super disappointed. There is absolutely no beach whatsoever and the dock to get into the lake was half submerged in water so we weren’t able to actually get in the lake- we had to go to a nearby state park. The grass looked like it was just moved so grass stuck all over our feet and made a mess. The outside furniture was covered in mowed grass. The grill was almost out of gas. Overall it’s a nice place but the listing needs to be updated as it is definitely not accurate.

We have stayed at many rentals and this is one of the worst ever. The house is really more of a cabin, that has not had even minimal maintenance. Broken windows, Missing blinds, Mold in the bathroom, dirt and dust absolutely everywhere. The upper blinds are non-functional, And in the afternoon, the sun beats in so badly that the house temperature soared into the upper 90s; Making it uninhabitable in the afternoons. Note this is a Vacasa property, and we submitted tickets thru them and VRBO. After several calls and messages, we did not receive even a single response. It’s rare that I would ever leave a review and certainly not an unfairly negative one, However, this needs to be said for the benefit of other vacationers. DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE!!! Really it should be taken off the market until substantial repairs and cleanings can be performed.

This is a “lived-in” rustic log cabin and was perfect for our group of fishermen. Hanging out in the great room in the evenings was ideal. Just two suggestions -the can opener is missing a gear and the back up manual can opener is bent and bends too easily to function. We also look forward to evenings at the fire pit, but the lawn was uncut 1 to 2 feet tall -a mess and made using the fire pit and waterfront impossible.

Kismet was quite nice and was in a very good location for those who want to fish and enjoy Lake Champlain. Close to boat launches, gas, and a convenience store. House is comfortable and has great views of the Lake.
