Pleasant and close to everything

Close to bazaars and Acropolis. Loved deck

We got dropped off to apt by a driver recommended and he unloaded suitcases to sidewalk and drove away. Driver did not show us where apt was and had to ask strangers walking down street to help us find apartment

Tolle, zentrale Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Grosszügige Wohnung mit viel Platz im Auftenthaltsbereich mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Auch die Zimmer waren gross. Tolles Badezimmer. Es war extrem Zentral, wir waren gleich bei der Fussgängerzone. Was eigentlich perfekt ist

Durch die Zentrale Lage war es auch sehr laut und man hatte bis spät in die Nacht Strassenlärm sowie lautes Gelächter. Man kam sich vor wie auf einer grossen Party. Aber das it wohl der Preis den man zahlt, wenn man im Stadtzentrum wohnen möchte. Mit geschlossenen Fenster war es dann viel besser.

Perfect place for a family of 7 which included 2 parents, three children, and two grandparents.

Property was in excellent condition, it was clean, comfortable, and the host was super helpful at all times.

Wunderbare, interessante Tage im Zentrum Athens!

Tolle Lage, nahe zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten und Tavernen, fußläufig. Ruhig, obwohl so zentral. Gute Infrastruktur! Die Wohnung ist großzügig und nett eingerichtet.

Perfekt für Zwischenstopp in Athen

Sehr großes Apartment mit 84 m2. Mit klassischen Möbeln stilvoll eingerichtet. Und mitten im Plaka Leben in der Nähe der Gold Juweliere. Was will man mehr, sagt meine Liebste. Nach Besuch auf der Insel Milos haben wir für die Rückreise das gleiche Apartment gebucht.

Perfect location and responsive host.

Location was perfect. There was breakfast food provided, but we only made a breakfast one morning. Host was very responsive each and every time we contacted him.

The beds were harder than expected especially the fold down couch (my son preferred to sleep on the couch). While the location was perfectly located it is also loud in the evenings. There is also a school across the street which if school is still in session can be noisy as well in the mornings. The perfect location however outweighed this.

Appartement propre et bien équipé idéalement situé dans le cœur de la ville. D’une grande accessibilité pour se balader dans les incontournables.

Best Location

It’s in the heart of Plaka! Nikos was an outstanding host. He was very helpful. He gave great suggestions to places to eat and places to see. The apartment is beautiful. Comfortable beds and very clean. I would definitely come stay here again.

Amazing apartment - host could have been better

The location and apartment were perfect. It was so easy to get around town from the great neighborhood of Plaka! The apartment had good air conditioning and was very cozy with two great balconies. The apartment itself it was perfect and the location couldn’t be better for our family of four.

As I stated the apartment was awesome. We would have rated the whole experience perfect but we had a few issues with the host. We booked an 8 hour hour tour in a Tesla Y and agreed upon the price upon re confirming the day before Nicolas told us he wasn’t able to make the tour for us, but said he would find somebody else to drive us. The driver showed up in a smaller wagon which was not as nice as the Tesla we thought we booked. All in all, the experience with the driver was still good, but it was not what we agreed on and a surprise. The car was tight for our family of four. When we got to the apartment we didn’t have bedding for the couch bed for our daughter and the host did bring it for us which was nice, but he didn’t bring pillow sheets for the extra pillows in the house and said you have four pillows and four people. There were an additional four pillows on the closet but no linens for them. When we read the reviews a previous guest stated it would be nice to have a drying rack. The only place to dry clothes over the balcony and our clothes fell down below on the street because there are just a few clothes pins. A drying rack would be nice to have. There is also an iron but no ironing board. We also mentioned this but didn’t receive a response except that he didn’t remember where it was. Finally the breakfast is pretty slim. It was nice to eggs, meat cheese, bread, juice and yoghurt but it was very simple and didn’t have all the items on the picture on the booking page. Again, nice to have, but not as advertised. All on all, it was an amazing apartment, but a little more effort would have made the experience better for us. We left disappointed a little bit by not by the apartment, but by the extras, the car service not being what we agreed on, and lack of what we needed to properly do laundry and ironing during our stay. I’m sure, with a little more effort from the host, this experience could have been amazing! The location, and apartment are wonderful!

Great location, spacious apartment

Good location right in the Plaka. Very spacious and well fitted out, with a nice little balcony overlooking the street. Great communication with the owner prior to our arrival with easy access to the keys in a lock box. Food is provided for breakfast which was ample for our needs. Temperatures of 30 - 36C during our stay but the air conditioning worked well so nice and cool in the apartment. Hot water switch needed to be turned on 30min before a shower, but we just planned ahead so that was fine. There is another balcony off the 2nd bedroom which had a clothes line and pegs, just had to make sure the pegs were secure or clothes could drop to the ground and not quite sure how you would be able to get them back!

A cloth drying rack for inside the apartment would be useful

Disappointing.

Disappointing. Just a few ingredients left in the fridge which I could have gotten myself from the supermarket.

Toilets was not cleaned and bin left full of waste. Only 1 set of keys for access was provided and we were denied additional when requested. Landlord entered the apartment when we were out, without our knowledge. Bed sheets for all the beds.

Picture Perfect Plaka

This property was within walking distance of all the important sites as well as the foodie experience. It was literally in the heart of Plaka. PERFECTION! Nikos was always attentive and readily available. I am coming back!

There was nothing I did not like. Like I stated, it was absolutely perfect and an amazing experience!

Excellent location, lovely balcony, nice blinds in the bedroom to keep the light out in the morning

Kind of old, needs modernisation, funky smell. Can't throw toilet paper in toilet which was weird for us.

We loved the location, the property and the host.

The best part of the property was the communication with the property contact. Nikki communicated often, accurately, with pictures and helped with transportation.

We did not find anything we did not like.

excellent location in walking distance of anything you need to see in Athens. A large apartment with everything you need and breakfast included for you to prepare.

shower could be better as it was hard to regulate the temperature and you need to leave automatic switch on in the fuse box for half an hour to get enough hot water for a shower. Didn’t really both us too much when you get used to it. Toilet seat also needs attention.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in Athens.

This Airbnb apartment is in a great location for all attractions and restaurants. The owner Nikos purchased breakfast, juice and wine our entire stay. Nikos thank you for your great hospitality.

The ac in one room didn’t work. We traveled to Athens in July, so this would have made it more enjoyable by being able to cool off while inside.

The drain in the shower didnt work and the shower water ran from the shower into the bathroom and down another drain near the toilet. Because of this the bathroom floor was always wet

Superb

Loved the location of this apartment in the heart of Plaka district. The area is walkable to all the key locations and restaurants. Niko was great at communicating and left food items for us to easily prepare breakfast and get an experience. The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean.

One of the bedrooms did not have a working AC but we were provided a really good quality fan that worked out. The hot water feature did not work for us despite following the instructions given. We ended up having to take cold showers. There was also an issue with ants in the kitchen.

breakfast was complimentary by apartment manager but they didnt ask us for our preference, there was cheese and meat which we dont eat and we didnt like coffee quality, also there was no black pepper or laundry detergent in apartment

If you want to feel home in the city centre: this is the perfect place

Great Place, beautiful big apartment in the middle of everything, next to Akropolis, clean and cosy,, wonderful balcony, more breakfast than we could eat (we had lunch twice, just bought one salad in addition and it was perfect!). We did all the sightseeing by foot and enjoyed the lunch break „at home“. the room towards the road is a little noisy during the night…wich was exspected and no problem at all, the other room is more quiet…The contact with Nicos was perfect: friendly, helpful, caring… We all recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Athens! Much better than staying in a hotel!!!(and I‘ve seen a lot!). Thank you, Nicos!!

We'd stay here again.

Nikos was fantastic. He responded to any communication very quickly and was very helpful. We loved the location - SO close to the Acropolis and most other things of interest in Athens. The apartment was very clean, and the food provided for breakfast was varied and plentiful. The apartment is spacious and comfortable.
