Exceptional

The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the great view made up for the steep hill to get to the property. The apartment was spotless with all we needed for a weekend stay. Would 100% come again.

- only one of three bathrooms had soap (not the ones with a toilet..) - only one of three bathrooms had keys (no keys for the ones with a toilet..)

Excellent location, clean appartment, superb views, great for family holiday

The view from the balcony/terrace was what made this appartment exceptional. Panoramic views of the lake, mountains and town lights meant something to look at all the time.

The WiFi was very weak and often dropped off. There could have been a few more kitchen utensils i.e. spatula to turn fried eggs, cook pancakes. Quite a steep walk up hill back from village.

This was just perfect: The ideal place to stay in Géradmer

The châlets are located in a quiet area on a slope above town, yet it takes just around 10 minutes to reach the lake or downtown by foot. The appartement is not that big for four people, but they make very clever use of the available space and it never felt crammed. The wooden porch is a delight, the kitchen is well equiped, everything is very clean and the price is unbelievable in comparison.

The WIFI works fine, but may not meet everyone's highspeed-standarts.

We had very comfortable accommodations that enabled us to take advantage fully of Gerardmer.

The fully-equipped kitchen was appreciated as well as the balcony with a beautiful view of the lake of Gerardmer. The fact that the parking stall for the car was next to the apartment was very practical.

Unfortunately, we had to wait one hour for someone to come to the Reception although we arrived at the right time. No one answered my voice message and it was only when other guests arrived did we get someone on the phone. Then the person forgot us as we waited by the apartment for her to open it. This was not good.

Clean apartment and nice bathroom/bedroom. Very nice host, always ready to help.

Very old kitchen, very different from what it's shown on the website. I was expecting only wood Chalet but the one were I went was more a multi apartments building.

The standard of lodging was great. The cleanliness amazing. They even accommodated us by placing us all 3 families together in one chalet each in a flat they didn't hesitate to give me a 5 bed for the same price accommodation to be closer to my relatives when I only paid for a one bed. The views on the lake were great I will recommend.

Very very very nice apartments:)

amazing apartment! nice location (5-7 min by foot to the city center), wonderful view. we were living on the ground floor, but didn't hear any noise from tenants 1 floor above, so apartment is really quiet. Also it has all that needed for a long stay - washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, hair dryer etc. A lot of space to store equipment or clothes, 2 toilets, spacious bathroom etc. Nothing to improve! Also, owners let us check out later with no extra fee, we were very appreciated for that.

well, one thing was disappointing a little bit. Owners didn't accept any language except French, but we heard that they understand English. We had English-, German-, Spanish- and Russian speaking guys, but owners even didn't try to use any language. Seems like it was more about principles, but not about hospitality. We had to use sms + google translate. It's not a critical problem, for sure, but a tricky one anyway

Well equipped kitchen. Quite place. Confortable bed. Closed parking box for our bikes.

WiFi connection works badly inside the apartment (but good from the terrace). There's a constant noise coming from the toilet (ventilation?). Our small apartment (one room) has no view on the lake as promised (because of high trees and bushes). The photos on Booking are not from the same apartment, but probably from similar ones in the resort.

Great views, good location, missing a few details.

Fantastic views of the town and lake, and only a short (but very steep!) walk from the town centre. Well-equipped kitchen and a generally well presented property. Plenty of parking (free).

Lacking some small details that would take it to the "excellent" level - nowhere to hang a towel in the toilets, no bins in the toilets (not great for two ladies!), not enough toilet paper or dishwasher tablets provided for a week's stay (we had to buy extra), they want you to clean at the end of the stay but no bleach or similar provided, just washing up liquid. The wifi was quite poor.

Excellent property, great host, went the extra mile to make us comfortable. Recommended

Great location, 5 mins drive from the piste and the town. We even got a free upgrade to the two bedroom place. All baby stuff provided too - bath, cot and chair. Superb!

The property didn't have any sugar or condiments. Apart from that, it was amazing!

Very confortable, well- equipped, nice view and very warm in the winter. Location not far from ski station and city center.

Everything is perfect except the check-out time is quite early at 9.00 am.

Great view, spacious for 4 people, and only a 5 min drive to the slopes.
