About this house rental
Easy walk / ski-in ski-out to Eagle Lodge! Newly renovated, 3-story townhome with 4 bedrooms + loft, 3.5 baths in Juniper Crest - only 100 yards to Eagle Lodge! Enjoy unobstructed, beautiful views from the living room bay windows and relax by the gas fireplace. The living room offers a 65” TV with comfortable seating overlooking the Valentine Reserve and Mammoth Creek with walking and Town Loop biking trails just outside the back door. A private balcony includes an outdoor dining area as well as a gas bbq grill. New flooring throughout with hydronic radiant heating ensures quiet nights without the loud noise of traditional heaters.
The chef’s kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances and accessories including a Viking range and refrigerator, a new Samsung dishwasher, coffee grinder and coffee maker, and new toaster oven. The kitchen is fully stocked with new pots and pans, brand new silverware and dinnerware, plenty of cooking accessories and all the items you need to comfortably prepare meals.
The four bedrooms consist of the following: Primary bedroom 1 features a King-size bed, TV, and a work-from-home desk area with plug-in 2 computer monitors and an easy-to-use laptop docking station. Primary bedroom 2 also features a King-size bed, TV, and a private balcony with a sitting area overlooking a gorgeous view. An additional alcove room/loft on this upper level features a twin daybed with a twin trundle and TV. On the lower level of the home, Bedroom 3 features a King-size bed, TV, fireplace, and a private outside patio with a jacuzzi. Bedroom 4 is furnished with 2 sets of Twin bunk beds, offering 4 Twin beds. The home is equipped with a private laundry room downstairs, offering a washer and dryer.
A two-car heated garage with a 7’4” clearance offers the ultimate convenience on those stormy days and includes an outdoor driveway large enough for 1 additional vehicle (in Summer only, due to snow storage and roof shedding). The garage includes newly-installed Gravity Grabbers to safely hold skis and snowboards. The home comes with a portable AC unit to help keep those Summer days cooler.
Guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club. Snowcreek facility includes an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, sauna, fitness equipment, yoga, Pilates, cycle studio, tennis courts, indoor basketball gym, plus more. Green and yellow shuttle stop in front of the community entrance. DirecTV, HBO, Plex, Disney+, Netflix channels included with all the latest movies and tv shows + WIFI access available. This unit is not pet friendly and sleeps a maximum of 12. This is a 3-story townhouse with 3 levels inside, 1 step at the front entrance, there are no sleeping accommodations on the main entry level. Lovely town home with most every thing we needed. A bit tight in the kitchen for our group. Good communication with manager and managing agency. Had some trouble with window mechanisms and alarm system which were attended to. Would stay here again.

The condo is beautiful and well appointed. And the access to the Snowcreek Athletic club is awesome.
The problem with the place is that it clearly advertises that the condo has air conditioning. This was very important to my group as we went in the summer and Mammoth can get very hot in the summer. So air conditioning was very important to us … particularly me as I’m heat-sensitive. If you look on the VRBO listing and the Red Awning listing, one of the top “features” advertised is air conditioning. And when I communicated with the Red Awning people asking about the extent of the A/C, they messaged me “"Hello …. , Hope you are well and happy today. I have checked and at this time your dates are available to book this lovely home. The home does have A.C through home : ) Hope this helps. Have a great day.”
When we arrived at the condo (which is 2400 sq ft), we found no air conditioning except one measly floor-standing unit (designed to cover 350 sq ft). This absolutely does not meet the definition of “the home does have A/C through the home.”
In complaining to the local management company (Mammoth rentals), they were empathetic and admitted the mistake and said they would take the advertising off the website (which, to this date, still has not been done). They also brought us a couple fans and an extra floor-standing unit. While I appreciated their effort, it was far from sufficient.

Very clean, hygienic and spacious rooms. Kitchen was equipped with everything including Viking appliances for cooking. Quite hospitable with lots of board games for adults and children. A short walking distance from the front door to Eagle Lodge was a huge convenience and luxury. Property managers were quick to responding to request. Will definitely stay here again in the near future.

would stay again. we arrived during a blizzard and management was flexible enough to refund our 1st night since all the highways closed down. just FYI, in the winter, there's only space for 1 car in the driveway. 2 in the summer after the snow melts. the blizzard took out the internet and heat. the heat barely worked while we were there but was managable with the fireplace. would still stay again, the home is beautiful!

This place was perfect for our four-day weekend ski getaway. We stayed with two other families, and there was plenty of room for all 11 of us. The kitchen was nicely appointed with plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and accessories. The rooms were spacious and the location was perfect within walking distance to Eagle Lodge. I would definitely recommend staying here. We can’t wait to return!

The local hosts Mammoth Reservations were incredible. We needed some assistance at the home and they were very responsive. Professional, nice, and knowledgeable!

Mammoth Review
We rented with 10 people, the place overall was great!! Nice location and very comfortable. The only complaints was it was pretty warm even with windows open. A couple of people complained about sweating the first night when sleeping. The fridge freezer has issues closing, the dish washer racks all slide out as soon as its opened. Its almost as if they the racks will completely slide off the dishwater. The TV also points upward instead of downward when looking at it. It seems that it is missing a screw. The clock above the TV needs a new battery, since it does not work. Overall a nice unit though. The code to get the keys was an issue since it was not working when the correct code was entered. I had to help 2 other customers trying to get them their keys. There was no answer from the phone numbers given after hours.

Great Place!
Beautiful property in a great location. All the amenities. Clean and, with a few minor exceptions (a few window cranks, freezer drawer), very well maintained. I would recommend this property enthusiastically to family and friends. I will definitely be going back!
