A ladder on the pier would be nice and a larger area for more people on pier
We had great weather and had lots of fun by all.

Travis and his team have the most amazing property! Their home is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Everything you could ever possibly need is provided! Their location on the lake is ideal- close to the open bays of Little St. Germain and our favorite island for swimming. We had the most amazing week- we will definitely be back!

My entire extended family of 13 loved the house and the seclusion that it offered. It was perfectly decorated for the up north vibe that we love yet it was cozy and made it feel like home for the week.
Travis and his team went about and beyond to make sure everything was going well and that we were comfortable and they were right there to fix any issues that arose and answer any questions we had about the area and the house.
We have stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years and this by far and away was our favorite one and the customer service was exceptional. We can't wait to come back again. Thanks Travis and team for an amazing week.

The cabin has everything you need. The house was clean and cozy. It slept 12 grown men perfectly for our yearly Fishing Trip. The property was in fact Total Seclusion with the best peaceful views. The fish were biting and the lake is beautiful. Youre almost guaranteed to see many Bald Eagles that lay claim on Little St Germain. Couldnt speak better about the owner Travis who answered all our questions and went above and beyond with accommodations and recommendations for the area. Our entire group Highly recommends " Total Seclusion " for your family retreats 💯

We headed to the Northwood for the wedding of my dearest friend’s daughter. We arrived very late at night due to travel schedules. The owner reached out to us earlier in the evening to make sure we were ok. He also left the door open for us, so we didn’t have to deal with the code in the wee hours in the morning. As soon as we approached the house we were delighted, despite pitch black skies and impending rain. Once in, although exhausted, we sat in the spacious living room to watch the light storm through the two story tall set of windows. We all found comfortable beds and clean, roomy bathrooms, and fell fast asleep. I’m the morning, we stepped outside and down a few stairs to the dock on the lake. The view was just what we hoped for - secluded, pristine and wonderfully peaceful.
During our stay we spent time boating on the lake and fishing. We also enjoyed a crackling fire in the outdoor fire pit.
The house was just as described and just what we wanted. The owner very helpful and communicative. We highly recommend a stay at Total Seclusion.

Top to bottom - the overall experience was fantastic. Great communication pre/post stay, beautiful home & location with no issues whatsoever. Plenty of space for four families and would 100% recommend Total Seclusion to anyone. I look forward to our next stay. Travis was great to work with and ensured that our stay was better than advertised.

5 stars for Travis’s property! We had a great week with 8 adults and 5 kids. It was a balmy week and the AC kept the house cool. All the appliances kept up with the daily routines, whether that was the oven, dishwasher or washer and dryer. The family liked the refrigerator. The Blackstone griddle become a popular way to cook right away and less dishes as a result. Easy to cook everything from breakfast to brats and burgers as well as nachos. This was a plus for feeding a larger family. The firepit was close to the house and we brought wood and used some supplies. The kids used the provided kayaks to paddle to the island on the lake just around the corner. The sand frontage was great for swimming yet deep enough for a safe cannon ball or two jump off the end of the pier. The tv worked great with no shortage of channels. Screen mirroring worked and local channels could be found with YouTube live. Don’t worry about cold showers either, the water was hot. Thanks Travis and Wendy for a great stay at your place!! We recommend it for families!

Three families stayed for the week. Check in process was easy, and the cabin was well stocked with kitchen supplies, bath towels, beach towels, and the fun things like paddle boards and kayaks. Plenty of firewood too. Travis and his staff were on top of things and always great with communication. Have stayed before and would stay again.

Pretty hard to summarize that feeling of all your kids and their families in one place for a week! Beautiful place. Lots of space to gather in or out. Lots of bonfires and corm hole games. Swimming, tubing, kayaking, paddle board…. The fishing was spectacular. Met by deer and fawns everyday. And 3 Eagles!!! Yes 3 flying swooping down to grab fish right in front of us! A little too cool to swim … no problem… went to local flea market (scored big), Elmers go cart track, bumper boats, horse riding, the Zoo is one of the best (and we visit many). Sons and wives went out a few nights and had quite the time.
Basically it was just packed with fun and was nothing short of perfect!

Great set up for multiple families. Great shared space for game playing, meal preparation. Everything we needed was on hand. We caught a perfect week of weather which enhanced our stay. Fire pit had an abundance of wood, grills were set up for easy use. Property manager was very responsive

We are a family of 8 and stayed at this property for a week. The owner was excellent with communication before and during our stay, even ordering a fishing map of the lake for us while we were there! A couple light bulbs were out,and the property manager came right over in short order with new bulbs. House was beautiful, fully stocked kitchen pots/pans/dishes etc for cooking. Don't forget to go to Blink Bonnie's for steaks in St. Germain!!

The property was very nice and fit our large family. The kids had a great time swimming off the dock.

Cabin is very large and great for a big family or multiple families (our stay was grandparent, family of 5, and family of 4). The walk to the water is a little steep but there are walking stones and the kids loved to play just off the dock including some great fishing. The reviews about the basement being cold are spot on - since the AC runs in the afternoon/evening with the west sun coming through the windows in the great room. However, there were extra throw blankets in the house so we were able to accommodate it! The cabin recently had a whole-house backup generator installed just before we arrived, so power outages will not be an issue if there are storms (we never had power issues). The bonfire area had enough seating and space to accommodate 13 people, beds were comfy, kitchen was stocked with all utensils we needed. Lots of morning deer very close to the house and surrounding area - the name is accurate that this is WAY back in the woods, very secluded, but a short drive to main St. Germain businesses. As others have mentioned, be sure to bring towels as there were only a few bath mats and hand towels provided in the kitchen. Wifi worked great (about 25-30Mbps per my speed test) and streaming to the TV in the great room worked well. One note - the dock pictured on VRBO is different, it does not have a square platform at the end but is a long pier with a bench (looks newly installed). Overall we would stay here again, great communication with the owner and a nice location for a Northwoods vacation!!
