The space
Take the elevator, and welcome yourself to this freshly renovated condo featuring:
* King-Size bed with super comfy mattress
* Full bathroom with towels & body wash, shampoo, conditioner.
* Full dining room with chairs & utensils/pots/pans/dinnerware/glasses
* Full size pullout sofa bed
* Custom kitchen stocked w/ all SS appliances
* Beautiful, Gilded Designer Apartment

Living/dining room has 50” SMART TV
CLOSE TO LAKE, SHOPPING, AND RESTAURANTS.
Please note that we have a single duct HVAC system. The building is required by law to turn on/off heat and air at specific times. With this, we understand that it can be uncomfortable in the transition dates and we work to accommodate our guests with fans or indoor heaters.
Q: Is the neighborhood safe?
A: Very much so. 24 hours a day.
Q: PARKING?
A: You do not need a car, but there are multiple garages within a block of the home if you drive. They are typically $20-40 / night.
We recommend apps like SpotAngel or SpotHero to find free or cheap parking. There are SpotHero spots near the building for your convenience, available on a first come, first serve basis.
Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens?
A: Nope! we provide all these things. Same with hotel-size toiletries (unless we happen to be out, which is rare).
Q: When can I check in or check out?
A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who checked out same day. We ask for an early check-in, or a late-check out fee, if you request either.
Q: Can I come and go as I please?
A: Yes. And we wouldn't trust any listing with which this isn't the case.
Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests?
A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests.
Q: What's my total booking price?
A: We honestly have no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so I don't actually control this.
Q: Are the beds comfortable?
A: Very. Some guests say they're the best they've ever slept on!
Guest access
You have full access to the condo. The gym, laundry, and rooftop are available, but please respect the long-term tenants in the building and do not disclose that you are staying in an Vrbo for your safety+security.
Other things to note
Please inquire if you have a group of 10-20 guests. We may have availability because we have 4 units on the same floor (A FULL FLOOR!) :)

NOTE: The main elevator for the building is small, but newly renovated. It comfortably fits 4 people so you may have to go up to the unit staggered.

Was a nice place to stay close to everything downtown that one might need when visiting Chicago. Close to Northwestern's medical campus and short walk to almost anything. Really just used as a place to sleep and make coffee, but was cheaper than any hotel and more room than that. This is a nice one bedroom apartment that is just like the pics. :) Enjoyed my short stay!

We were looking for a city experience for restaurants, shopping, and exploring -- we thought this was the perfect location for all of that, as well as quiet enough for a peaceful walk with the dog or a run along the lake.

The square footage of the apartment and location were about the only decent parts of our stay. Very stale, and uncomfortable bed/couch situation. We even blew up the air mattress thinking that might be better than the bed or couch. When blew it up we discovered it would not hold air. Not a good nights rest at all.

Very nice apartment in the heart of the gold coast. Lots of great restaurant options and shopping nearby. Great check in process and owners were extremely responsive and helpful.

A lovely & well presented good sized apartment. The location is absolutely brilliant. Everything you need for a short break or holiday is provided for you. Details for check in were very helpful.
We loved our stay here and would recommend it very highly to anyone wanting to have a good base while exploring Chicago!

Small but very comfortable property. Surprisingly quiet. Easy to get in and out and close to everything. Property owners are VERY good with prompt and understandable communications.

I loved the apartment. Used to live in this neighborhood in the 70’s. Very nostalgic! We were able to do all of things we wanted to this trip. Lakefront, Rush St., , Northwestern Cubs Game, Saw the cleaned up lions! Walked wherever we wanted.

Excellent sleep and location in Chicago
Do not hesitate to book this site for your next Magnificient Mile vacation. This suite has lots of room for a couple with a comfortable king-size bed, kitchen with range, dishwasher, Keurig style coffee maker, and kitchen table. The living room has a comfortable couch and large TV with Roku, a great place to rest your tired legs after a lot of walking. The location is perfect! It's in the Gold Coast area, with many great restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing nearby. Top things to add to your trip: walk to the beach, the river cruise, hop on/off bus tour, sports team games, shopping, and walking around to take it all in.
Love Chicago and the Streeterville location was perfect for us.

Comments: The City of Chicago has an ordinance that heat must be provided to the building until June 1st....there were a few unusually warm days in May that I stayed and unfortunately the thermostat in the apartment cannot switch from HEAT to COOL until June 1st (the whole building is affected, not just this unit)...if you absolutely need AC at all times, stay after June 1st :) A brand new floor fan was available in the unit so that kept the air circulating :):):)

Wonderful location , great host
We enjoyed our stay and ready loved the location. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants, shops and parks. It was a great way to experience the city.
Communication with the host was wonderful. Responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

The apartment is just as it appears in the photos. The hosts were great communicators and made checkin and out very easy. their place is comfortable and in a great location and was great for the two of us.

This place has 3 redeeming qualities: the best was comfortable, it’s location near the Magnificent Mile, and it sits atop a delicious Cuban cafe called Cafecito. While the property managers were very responsive, they didn’t seem to care that there were a few elements left unaccounted for. First of all, there were no sheets for the sofa bed. Second of all, the online info states that checkout time is 11am. We were informed the night before that we’d need to be out by 10. When I let the property managers know that the property description stated otherwise I was told the cleaners were on a tight schedule. Next, the sofa bed is weird and has a metal piece that does not stay upright. If you sit on it just right it collapses under you. I told the property managers about this and even mentioned I’d send them a picture and they didn't seem to care. Next, the shades are minuscule, at best, and do not sufficiently block the light, the floor squeaks with every step, and sirens go off constantly. It’s SO NOISY! I’m a firm believer that a vacation rental should not make you question why you left home. Lastly, the manual states guests should take out the trash, run the dishwasher and remove all sheets before checking out… again, what am I paying for? After all, I was asked to check out an hour early for the cleaners…
