Disappointing level of uncleanliness Ants in kitchen and living room, sticky dirty floors and carpet. Spiders and webs along baseboards and in corners - just an unkept place. Location is great but not managed well, wasn’t ready at checkin time…. Such a bummer in a beautiful town.

My husband, myself and my daughter we all enjoyed our stay here. It was very nice. It was a beautiful neighborhood and what I liked was the location and everything was nearby within walking distance, different restaurants, different ice cream places, as well as breakfast diners and sandwich shops only downside was the leather chair that was in the living room. It was peeling quite a bit. I had to use another blanket to put over top of it cause I was concerned about my infant, picking up the little pieces and I have a latex allergy so that the little pieces were actually irritating my skin, the only downside is I think just needed a little upgrade with the chair and the living room and maybe the chairs in the dining room could use a little upgrade but besides that everything else was very nice and they give you little bits and pieces and surprises of things that other people have left and left back decides to bring two. There is a baby gate that we left. We use the baby gate and the chest wicker chest. We push that near the stairs so there was two barriers to prevent our daughter from falling down the stairs. It’s great for adults.

Second story, well appointed space within downtown Sackets Harbor. Enjoyed the days spent there. Host was quick to respond to questions.

We loved the charming old house. The space was huge and just perfect. Comfortable bed with the ability to close out the world. We arrived late and Alex was accommodating and helpful. The bedroom was so closed off & dark we were able to sleep late and not even realize it! The location could not be more perfect-walking distance to anything in Sackets Harbor, including great running trails. We highly recommend this space and host. We’ll definitely be back!!

This apartment is a perfect location for activities in Sackets Harbor. We did not use our car the whole time we were there.
Some details could make it even better such as screens in the windows so that they could be opened to let air in, and functioning window blinds. Stairs are steep and are right by the bathroom entrance. Perhaps a gate at the top would be a good idea.

This place was perfect for us! Literally just steps from restaurants, coffee, and soft ice cream! Great communication with the host, easy check in and out. It is the second floor of a historic house, but remodeled cute and modern, with a comfortable and relaxing vibe. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Spacious apartment in a 200 year old building, upstairs above a wine shop. Ideal location for a visit to Sackets Harbor. Apartment is simply furnished and decorated but comfortable. Owner owns the wine shop downstairs and was a gracious, friendly and easy to work with host.

This is probably the best location in Sacket’s to stay—central to everything, all the great places: Goodfellos, Whiskey Coop, Boathouse, Sackets Harbor Brewing, and Tin Pan Galley are basically right across the street, with Chrissy Beanz just up the block! It’s cute and fairly comfortable, a little dilapidated, but I know Alex is planning to work on that soon. Alex is a super responsive host—for example, apparently the last guest took the iron they had. Within 1/2 hour of my asking about an iron, Glen downstairs at the bottle shop had one for me! Great people!

Weekend to Remember
The owner Alex was wonderful and helpful to deal with. The bed was perfection! The queen pull out couch was very comfortable. Everything we needed was in place. Being in the village during a weekend festival, Can-Am Festival (Canadian-American) was an unexpected and entertaining bonus. Location being right on Main Street was a plus. Everyone congratulated me on my great choice of a place to stay.

Nice spot!!!
Our overall experience was a positive one. The property owner was very personable and VERY attentive to our needs. The property is a new listing therefore the owner was open to suggestions for improvements. The property was clean and any minor issues we experienced were addressed immediately by the property owner. It was well equipped for two adults but any additional guests may not be comfortable at this point in time. However, I feel confident that as time goes on any updates required to accommodate more guests will be addressed accordingly. The location is perfect and makes for a very comfortable stay!!!
