This was the perfect size place for my wife and I, and we loved the proximity to all the walkable spots downtown.

This is actually a guest house, it was so much bigger than expected. Clean & Comfy. PERFECT Location!! We walked everywhere.
However, something not super clear in the listing is that the shared yard is actually the owner’s yard (so ur sharing a yard with the owners kids & dog. Definitely didn’t feel comfortable sitting outside at the table. Also, u might want to bring ur own toilet paper (the toilet paper was literally the worst I’ve ever seen) and you’ll need to grab some milk to make pancakes, the pancake mix is a nice bonus but u will need milk

Great location to downtown Bardstown. Easy to get to. Positioned on quiet street. Clean, plenty of room inside.
Future enhancement may be to put a small privacy fence, small patio and a couple chairs at back door.

This place was perfect for our stay in Bardstown. Walking distance to downtown Bardstown and many sites in town. Perfect home base for the Bourbon Trail. The Guest House was comfortable and well outfitted. The farm fresh eggs and homemade pancake mix was a nice touch! We didn't have the best weather and were unable to take out the ebikes. There's always next time!

Once upon a time, our adventure began in the quaint little town of Bardstown, Kentucky, nestled snugly in the rolling hills. We embraced history, stepping back into the early 1800s as we checked into a guest house straight out of a storybook.
As we pulled up, our welcoming committee awaited us: none other than the owner's four-legged ambassador, the furry guardian of the gates. Yes, you guessed it - a dog wagging its tail like a town crier announcing our arrival. And let me tell you, that fence was not just for decoration; it was a fortress guarding against any unwelcome intruders (or overly enthusiastic guests).
But beyond the fence lay a slice of paradise. With its weathered charm and timeless allure, the guest was a sanctuary from the modern world. And yet, just a stone's throw away lay the heartbeat of Bardstown - its main street.
Ah, the main street! A bustling boulevard filled with treasures aplenty. From the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting from cozy cafes to the tantalizing scents of handmade soap and candles teasing our senses, it was an array of delights. And let's not forget the charming boutiques, where every piece of clothing seemed to whisper, "Take me home!"
As the days unfolded like pages in a delightful novel, we found ourselves enchanted by Bardstown's magic. And amidst it all, our historic guest house stood as a beacon of comfort and nostalgia.
Would we return? Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt. For in Bardstown, every corner holds a story,

This was perfect for us! Just the right size and had everything we needed. Perfect location within walking distance to all shops and restaurants in the downtown area. The host was super helpful since we had a hard time accessing the VRBO app. The only negative was no internet connection. We needed to access a zoom meeting and were not able to. Would definitely recommend to friends.

My husband and I were supposed to be on a cruise but it got cancelled so we decided to do a short kid-free getaway to Bardstown. This cottage was perfect for us! It’s so clean and it within walking distance of the downtown square! We walked everywhere and enjoyed tons of yummy bourbon! I highly recommend this cottage. The only thing that could’ve been better was if it had a king size bed instead of a queen but that’s just a small detail.

My husband and I stayed in this cozy cottage for 8 nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We found that the cottage had everything we needed as well as some unexpected extras. The neighborhood is quiet, yet just less than a block away is a strip of small stores and restaurants where we found great places to explore, eat, and drink :). We found this to be a perfect home base from which we could drive East, West, and North to visit distilleries. We also really enjoyed our trip to the Abbey of Gethsemani, under 30 minutes south. A perfect stay!

The carriage house was perfect for a couple- one bedroom and one bath. Centrally located to many bourbon distilleries and a short walk to “downtown Bardstown “, this rental was comfortable and convenient. You do hear street noise and the owners live right next door.

The location was great and we could walk to everywhere in town. We were there to watch our grandson play baseball in Elizabeth town and it was a nice ride in between towns. Close proximity to the distillerys which we went around games. The property was just like it said and we had no problems. If we ever go back would stay there again.

We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary the night we stayed here. The house is old, as you would expect N 1800s carriage house to be. But it is very well appointed, comfortable bed, good TV, and cute kitchen with everything you could want or need. It had a special appeal to us because it was so much like the first house we lived in when we were newlyweds. The added attraction is that it is within walking distance to the downtown area and restaurants. We had a great time in Bardstown!
