This cute little house is exactly what we needed for our weekend trip for a wedding. My husband and I traveled with our two kiddos. There was the perfect amount of space for us to sleep, and we could prepare meals in the stocked kitchen. The house was welcoming, comfy, and super clean. We’re already talking about our next trip to Charlevoix and we hope to stay here again!

This house was in a great location, just about a 10 minute walk to all the shops downtown. The house had everything you needed and it was an easy process to get in. The only downside is that the shower is TINY! I’m a short/relatively small person and felt like I didn’t have much room to maneuver. If you’re a larger person, you may have trouble fitting. Would suggest the owners think about expanding it where they currently have shelves and just get an over the toilet rack to put the towels on instead. Other than that, we enjoyed our time at the cabin and in Charlevoix!

We really liked the location of this house. We especially enjoyed the snacks that were left for us. We thought the house was super nice and served us for what we wanted.

Just as listed. In Charlevoix for wedding at Castle Farms. Only problem was it rained steady the whole time we were there. Mushroom Houses really nest.

Just in town for a wedding. Didn't spend a large amount of time there. Place was clean. She even had robes to wear! Host was very nice.

My daughter and I stayed here for the week: my other daughter was getting married at the castle. Requested to check in an hour or so early and was told the cleaning crew had finished earlier that day. The place told a different story. It appeared to not have been dusted in quite some time, there were long dark hairs everywhere ( we are both blonde) and the bathroom had a colony of ants going in and out at the baseboard. The vacuum was packed with dirt and dust and not emptied. I informed the host and she thanked and said she would pass along to the cleaning crew. Very disappointed

The hosts were very accommodating and allowed us to have an early check in. The location was great, within walking distance to downtown and many restaurants. The only issues we had was that the house was marketed with AC and there was none when we got there. This made it very uncomfortable especially since we had a dog and 4month old. We also only had 2 fans plugged in and blew a fuse in the house. We did contact the host and she was able to get the units in the next day. So depending on when you are traveling just make sure to ask if the AC units will be in or not.

nice tiny place off of State street which is the main street to everything. I would stay here again no questions asked.

Clean little house, but no water pressure in shower.

This cottage was very clean and quiet. It is also very well designed for a small space to include everything you could need. If we were there longer we would have loved to bring our bikes so we could easily get to the beach and downtown. I will say the bed was pretty uncomfortable which was a bummer. Even with that, we’d stay here again due to the cleanliness and ease!

Very clean little cottage. Just what we needed for our stay attending a wedding near by!

Nice little place to stay when attending a wedding at Castle Farms. Had everything you need. Bed could stand a mattress change but overall a good stay for what we needed! Close to downtown. Price was good. Says it sleeps 4, but I would say two adults and maybe two children. Second bed is a futon.

My husband and I came to Charlevoix for our honeymoon. He broke his foot less than two weeks before our surgery so we ended up staying in the house more than we had originally planned. The size was decent for the two of us, I would not want to stay with any more people. The bed was a full size, and we are both very tall people so neither of us slept that well. It was noisy between the cars on the street and the nearby airport.
We had a difficult time finding the house, but once we did the location decent. Close enough to town, but on the edge of sketchy.
My one complaint would be the spiders. There were lots of small spiders all around the house, I think it could use a more thorough cleaning.
Overall, we had a nice 3 night stay. I would recommend for a short trip with no more than 2 guests.
Thanks for hosting!!

The couch bed was very uncomfortable to sit on . The shower area barely big enough to move in. It is really close to everything and the bed was comfortable.

Tiny cottage close to all the splendor Charlevoix offers. Nice place to crash after a full day of activities. Bed was comfortable, location of cottage was a bit odd but private and quiet.

Overall our stay was great. I really wish there was a fan for the bedroom since the AC unit is in the living room. I am a hot sleeper so I was a bit uncomfortable and couldn't sleep. Also the shower is very very small. The property was very clean except for the futon had a strange smell.

This property was just what we were looking for. We did a 2 day trip with our dog. It had everything we needed, just enough room & it’s location made for an easy walk to the shops & restaurants.

Tiny workman's cottage, clean and cozy. A mix of new and old with a bright white, spotless refrigerator! Good location right off Main Street and quiet, despite being so close to the main road.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. It was a good location and close to everything that we did during our stay. We will definitely be staying again.

The unit had not been cleaned upon our arrival and after two days of driving to get to northern Michigan, the last thing we felt like doing was spending our first evening of vacation at a laundromat washing bedding and linens. But Nikki responded to my email immediately and she and Jenn personally rushed over, brought fresh linens and cleaned the unit themselves. They restored my faith in customer service!
While small, the house was quite cozy. It’s true that the high school football field is directly behind the house, but we didn’t mind it. We got to take in the end of a powderpuff football game. 😀
Our only negative feedback is that we are old school live-tv watchers. The tv in the unit was a smart tv, but with very limited apps available. We could not download a live tv streaming app so had to settle for watching a baseball game on our iPad. An Apple TV box or something similar would be a low cost option to attach to the tv to allow guests more tv viewing options. (Not that we watched much tv, but one of the nights was rainy and chilly and just a good night for staying in.)
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this cozy little house.

Everything you need
Great little house! The location was super convenient and the house had everything we needed. We were mostly there to ski, so the no frills place was perfect.

12 day getaway
Nice place for a getaway! Fall is beautiful in the area and this location was perfect as a hub for day trips. I stayed 12 days. Cottage was spotless, bedding and towels were soft and cozy, kitchen nicely stocked; met all my needs. Depending on your purpose, I'd say it's cozy perfect for one or 2 people. If you only need it for a place to lay your head, 4 works but you'll bump into each other. A slight heads up, it was on main thoroughfare so, lots of traffic that quickly became white noise. I gave it 5 stars due to the overall lovely time I had in the area. I'll stay there again.

close walk to downtown. needs a new or better mattress. if you visit on a Friday during football season be aware that the high school stadium is your backyard.

Family Trip
We came to the area for the Charlevoix Marathon in mid-June. The house was clean and presentable and the host even left a small gift basket of snacks and drinks. It slept 4 but after we "moved in" with 4 suitcases and other things, it was slightly cramped. I would stay here again (especially if it was just 2 of us).
