We all had such a wonderful time in the gorgeous finger lakes at this beautiful house. The kids especially enjoyed the water and dock and the other amenities. Thanks to Dave everything went smoothly.

The house was spotless and very clean, it was stocked with many items to use for cooking or making coffee. The grill worked very well on the deck. Overall the place was perfect for our group and we had a great time

We had a great time with our family at "Red Oak".
Plenty of room for the 13 of us! The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary spices and condiments plus coffee and tea! A quick drive from local attractions, but we spent a lot of time fishing from the dock, boating, swimming and just relaxing. Dave is a gracious and friendly host, happy to help if we had questions. My only suggestion (very minor) would be a quick sweeping of the steps and lower deck area. We all loved our stay and heartily recommend the property!

The house was beautiful and had every amenity you could hope for: dishes, cutlery, lots of cooking utensils, paper products, towels, cleaning supplies, etc. There was a big porch on the main floor and two private porches on the second floor that had beautiful views of the lake. There were also kayaks to get out on the lake. The surrounding area had vineyards and cideries. We went to the Women’s history museum nearby and Taughannock Park was also nearby. Highly recommend this house.

We stayed at this beautiful lake house the weekend of our daughter’s Cornell graduation, May 2024. We were a party of 10 and the house was spacious and roomy. Location was perfect to Ithaca, within 15 to 20 minutes and to wineries toward Ovid, Romulus, and along Cayuga lake. The house was very clean and well stacked with all our kitchen needs. Comfortable beds and lots of quality linens and towels! We enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement area! Great WI-FI, fireplace, kayaks, paddle boards snd lots of balconies with amazing lake view. Dave was a wonderful host. Overall an excellent and wonderful stay!

Very well appointed. So many windows for wonderful views everywhere. Did not want for any kitchen items (including aluminum foil, plastic wrap, common spices, coffee kcups). Lots of towels and beach towels. Ping pong! Wine fridge! Washer/dryer. Regular coffee maker and Keurig.
Dave very responsive and considerate.
Stayed there mid October but would not hesitate to come back in summer.
Finger Lakes wonderful place to visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dave’s beautiful lakefront home. Our group of 10 adults had plenty of room to spread out and/or come together as a group. The home is very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The weather prevented us from spending time on the lake, but the view from the deck made up for it. Dave was a wonderful host!

Dave's house is exactly as listed - plenty of space to spread out. Great kitchen / dining area and we loved the outdoor decks. Access to the lake was down 2 sets of stairs, but once at the the lake level, the boats, fire pit, dock and chairs were all in good shape. The house is very centrally located for exploring the beautiful Finger Lakes Region. We would rent again for sure!

This is a great house on Cayuga Lake. Plenty of room for our party of 10 to spread out and also come together. The kids loved the paddle boards, and others enjoyed the kayaks. The owner was easy to contact and quick to respond.

The house was everything we’d hoped for. Meticulously clean, well stocked, beautiful lake front, very well equipped kitchen, great Wi-Fi, lots of outdoor seating and water equipment, great beds, lots of linens for our stay. Dave was a pleasure to work with. There is a supermarket 10 min away, many great dining places, 30 min from Ithaca. Beautiful trails nearby. We would definitely return. We fell in love with Lake Cayuga.

This was such a nice property with great bedroom space and absolutely amazing views of cayuga! It's a new place that is well suited to accommodate family gatherings. We stayed with our friends and their kids as well so we had 6 kids aged 2-8 and this was the best place we have ever stayed for sleeping arrangement and comfort. Dave was an amazing host that was very thoughtful and available with any questions we had! It's very secluded and private but almost equidistant if you're looking to go to Watkins Glen, Ithaca, Geneva, or the Seneca Lake wine trail. The kayaks and paddle board with the private dock available made the trip extra fun.

This was a wine trip for 3 couples to the finger lakes. This house on Cayuga Lake was perfect. Each couple had their own floor in the house. The kitchen was large and we enjoyed meals and fellowship. Great host, responsive to inquiries in a timely manner. Would recommend for anyone looking to get away and have quiet.

Perfect House on the Lake.
The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. David, the owner let us use the paddle boards, kayaks, and John boat. We brought a floating foam pad that we tied to the dock and use the whole week. The kitchen is well stocked. My only recommendation would be to add another refrigerator in the closet around the corner from
Kitchen. We had a fun week Hiking the local falls and hanging at the lake. We will definitely go back again. 😊

Great week at Cayuga Lake
The house was beautiful and perfect for our family of 10. There were many places to relax and enjoy the view of the lake. The house is well equipped with kayaks, paddle boards, floats, and life preservers. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable and all linens and towels were provided. The host met us at the house on check in and explained things about the house to us and checked in a couple times to make sure everything was going well. Overall an excellent stay.

Perfect week on the lake
We hated to leave this gorgeous spot on the water. Two couples and 3 additional adults, and we all had great times together plus the house provided us all the privacy we needed. Dave exceeded all our expectations as a host, giving us a ton of information ahead of time about the area, suggestions for restaurants, etc. We enjoyed paddling in the kayaks and spending quiet evenings sitting on the dock, listening to the water and watching the birds. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Delightful family vacation destination
Beautiful property that will delight any guest!!! The waterfront property is perfect for family or group gathering. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. We sat on the deck every night for BBQ and took advantage of the on-site water activities. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Would give 6 stars if I could.

The house is much larger than the photos suggest. The view from almost every room is fantastic. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The only drawback is the very long gravel road leading down to the house, but the view more than makes up for it. A very enjoyable time for our family and I would like to return someday.

Our family of 7 people stayed here for 5 days while visiting Ithaca/Cornell for our daughter’s graduation. We were blown away by this house—-the views, the lake access, and the gorgeous house itself. It is a newly constructed house and everything is in beautiful condition, and nicely decorated. . There are windows everywhere with lake views, and there is direct access to the lake. The kitchen is fully furnished with plenty of dishes, cookware and silverware, as well all the other things you would have at your kitchen including plastic wrap, ziplock bags, sharp knives, flour, sugar, etc. The owners encourage people to leave food items when leaving, rather than throwing them away, which meant that there were condiments for making sandwiches, dressing salads etc. This house is a real find!

Beautiful Lake House
This house on Cayuga Lake was perfect for our annual family get together. My siblings and I enjoyed spending time out on the deck. My sister and I swam every day off the private dock and even practiced our paddle boarding. The location is perfect being so close to Ithaca and Trumansburg, the Cayuga wine trail and many state parks. The walk from the lake to the base of Taughannock Falls at Taughannock State Park was gorgeous. The house was clean, comfortable, had ample space, private lakeside access and location, location, location. What more could I say? Loved it!!

Autumn Fun at Cayuga Lake
Beautiful, new house. Remarkably well-stocked with everything we could need for a week's stay, and very clean. Waking up to a view of the lake every morning was a real treat. Enjoyed using a kayak once; too cool later in the week for getting wet. It was an easy drive to everywhere we wanted to go in the Finger Lakes. And we saw the Milky Way!

This house was exactly as you would’ve expected from the pictures. It is a very new house with beautiful views. It is immaculately clean and fresh with a beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. The most enjoyable parts were The balconies: one of which we called the treehouse because it was on the top floor and was just a very special place to finish the evening.
Also spent a lot of time outside the kitchen on the balcony there at the big table. There’s a gravel driveway down to the water which could be a bit challenging to navigate at times but once down great dock and kayaking experience. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is interested in staying in a place that doesn’t depend on an outdoor water experience but it’s a wonderful experience just being at the house. Owner and his wife were very nice people who went out of your way for us!

A wonderful experience. The house was top notch and very well appointed. We were on the lake, near Trumansburg and a short drive to Ithaca, with it's excellent restaurants numerous trails for hiking,, breweries, wineries and endless waterfalls. The house is also home to eagles, snakes in the lake (ugh) and kayaks. Our hosts were very gracious and provided everything we requested. You must be able to negotiate the stais down to the lake.
