We had a good time and we enjoyed this property.

The house was exactly as described. Clean, spacious, and in a decent neighborhood. Only a 5 minute drive to Knoxville zoo which is why we chose this house. Several restaurant options within a few minutes of the house as well as DoorDash being available in the area. We have toddlers and the house was kid friendly and decently childproof.

The 1940's bungalow was very clean, nicely updated, and had lots of charm and character. The property owners were easy to communicate with and very courteous. The neighborhood felt safe and people were friendly when we were out for walks. My family and I were glad to have found this property to stay at so we could attend a wedding so far away from our state of Minnesota.

This was a perfect stay for my friends and I! We loved the authenticity of the home and the old vibes it gave.
We had a little issue on check as our door code was changed prior to arrival but the app Dack came to the rescue allowing us to unlock the door whenever we needed.
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Knoxville area!

Convenient and cozy. Owner is very quick to respond to our questions prior to us renting.

It was a good family house! Clean and decent location. Video games were fun, but would have preferred a television. No TV anywhere in the house. If it hadn’t rained our entire stay, it wouldn’t have mattered.

My friends and I had a great time visiting the city for the weekend and we were all impressed with the space that was included inside the house. A plus was the location of the house so close to the downtown scene. All the beds and pillows were very comfortable. I will look forward to booking again with this host in the future!

Spent a quick weekend inn Knoxville with some friends and this was easily able to accommodate our group. Location was about 10-20 minutes from everything we wanted to do. Coming into the neighborhood looks rough one way but overall the neighborhood seemed nice.

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights. The owners have done a nice job updating the property. Would have liked a few more power outlets, but overall a nice peaceful nights sleep.

This house is not well cared for. The fixtures were clean, but the floors made our feet dirty, the stairs to upstairs were grimy, the corners at the floors are all dust filled and grimy, the dishes and kitchen utensils felt greasy. The back yard had been dug up and hay put over it, but it was very unlevel, so the kids couldn't enjoy the backyard. The kitchen is NOT fully stocked--only 4 coffee mugs and 5 glasses for a house that sleeps 9. The starter kit they promised was not provided. The beds were comfortable. The listing doesn't indicate that one of the bedrooms is upstairs. There is no drawer space in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. When we arrived, the air conditioner in upstairs had been leaking to the point that it came through the ceiling and wet the couch in the living room. We moved the couch, communicated with the management company that evening and all day the next day and on the third day and day if departure. We dried the water on the floor and put a pot under the air conditioner, keeping it emptied, to prevent further damage. They never offered and service recovery for our trouble. I don't recommend this Haven management company.

Took a quick family trip to Knoxville to visit the zoo. Wanted a place to stay with more room than a hotel. This place did comfortably sleep 4 adults and a child. It was clean-ish. Some things are just old and can tell cant really be super clean. Other things are just cleaned around. There was a coffee cup that still had coffee in it which got all over the coffee bag provided. I had dropped an earring in the bathroom and under the vanity were other people clothes and hair items. The location was about 3.5 miles to everything we wanted, but the neighborhood you can tell is trying to be on the up. Right now there are some rough houses very close by. I wouldnt say safe to walk anywhere because in-between the short drive to the house and downtown was a homeless shelter. All in all not the best location in my opinion. The host was nice and very responsive.

One issue is the thermostat for the upstairs is a little off. It takes quite a while for the upstairs to get cool, so I’d advise anyone who stays here to set it immediately when they arrive, otherwise it will be very late by the time it gets cool enough to sleep

1940 is, I guess, 1940’s. Even though attempts had been made to modernise this bungalow, it fell very short. A/C unit on main house was barely enough to keep it cool ( granted it is July in Tennessee). There were no updated electrical sockets In the bathroom ( or anywhere in the house for that matter) so finding location to plug in hair dryer and to have access to a mirror was impossible. The upstairs A/C unit was not working. It took 4 plus hours messaging the host on and off and they never came or sent someone to correct the issue. I ended up having to sleep on the floor in the living room. The kitchen equipment was severely under par. There wasn’t even enough silverware for all the people the house so support sleep. Thank goodness I had not planned to cook there. As of yet ( 24 hours) I still have not heard from the host about any credit for lost bedroom for the night. Very disappointed with this house and the host!!!

House was not as pristine as described/pictures, and neighborhood was a little questionable (not necessarily the street the house was on, but some
Of the surrounding streets). However, its obviously a restored old home, with nice bones. It was very clean and minimalist, and fine for our weekend stay in Knoxville. About 12 min drive to UT campus. Also, mattresses on downstairs beds were very soft (too soft for me!) and beds were creaky. No mirrors in bedrooms and no power outlets in bathrooms, which was odd. Overall, it was functional and fine, just not quite as modern as was depicted.
