About this apartment rental
This lovely one bedroom apartment is situated on the small complex of Colina Verde (Green Hill). It is one of the most elevated points of Carvoeiro and has stunning town and sea views. All the rooms have a balcony or terrace and enjoy lovely open views. On the roof you have a large, private terrace where you can sunbathe, enjoy an al fresco meal or watch the sun set!
It has an excellent pool area (with a small, shallow kids pool) with showers, changing rooms, WC's and freely available sunbeds.
Very quiet location but only a 5 minute walk to an award winning sandy beach, the village centre and great restaurants. Carvoeiro is set on a particularly attractive stretch of coastline with lovely cliff top walks and hidden sandy coves. Local activities include golf, diving, boating and tennis. If you like to explore, there are lots of other interesting places to visit nearby, including the old historic capital of Silves just 10km away.
Notes on accommodation:
The ample sized bedroom may be made up with a superking bed or twin beds. There is a built in wardrobe and plenty of storage. In the lounge there is a comfortable double sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to prepare your own meals. Hairdryer, iron, ironing board and adapter plugs are included. There is ample parking around the property. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment.

Both the bedroom and lounge have private balconies, each with a small table and two chairs. There is a small sunny terrace off the kitchen, overlooking the swimming pool with a table and 2 chairs. There is also a large, private roof terrace with a lounge area, BBQ, a dining table and four chairs, 2 sun loungers and a bar area with 2 bar stools overlooking the sea...a perfect spot for enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sunset! There is a lovely shared pool area with large swimming pool and separate children's pool set in well maintained gardens. There is room for a picnic on the grass and facilities include showers, changing rooms with WCs, and sun beds. Colina Verde is a small, quiet development and there is always plenty of room for everyone.

Apartment was exactly as described. Rooftop terrace was so nice to sit and have dinner or just relax. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Very quiet and had everything you need. Christina was quick to answer any question I had and was so accommodating. Loved are stay and would stay in the apartment again

The condo is perfect. Nice balconies to eat or have a drink. Big enough for a family of 4. Contacting the host Christina was easy and she answered quickly. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Carvoeiro is central for visiting the Algarve.

Very centrally located, comfortable, everything necessary provided, air conditioning a bonus, and the terrace is brilliant - we spent much of our time there, in shade or heat. A really nice apartment. It's a five minute stroll into the town, though a steep 6-7 minute return.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christina + Mike's superb flat in Carvoeiro.
The apartment is lovely and so well equipped for a comfortable stay with superb terraces, lovely pool and the unbeatable private rooftop terrace.
The flat is walkable to all of Carvoeiro's delights and easy to reach other towns and beaches of the Algarve.

We had a fabulous stay at this property! Everything beginning with the communication with Christina to check out with Maria, the housekeeper, was seamless. Christina was available promptly to answer any of my questions prior to arriving as well as changing our arrival dates. The property was comfortable (great King size bed), clean and equipped with everything we needed.
The distance was a little further from the beach then what we had expected but very doable and we very much appreciated the available parking at the complex. We would certainly consider returning to this property!

The property was just as described. Very comfortable and spacious apartment with lovely roof top terrace which we were able to use even in Jan/ Feb. We would love to stay in this property again if the opportunity arises.
The cleaner, Maria was very and communications with the hosts was excellent.
The complex was really quiet whilst we were there, the pool area looked lovely and well maintained, thought not used by us as we were there in Winter.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 24 nights. It was just above the bustling small town which was handy for walks into the town. Up and down hill of course:) Carveioro is situated in a great part of Portugal with an opportunity to experience many amazing day trips in the south area. The Algarve is spectacular.
We spent our mornings on the living room balcony with a wonderful view overlooking the town and many late afternoons on the wonderful roof top terrace. The bed was comfy and the linens were 5 star. Appreciated having a washing machine with this long of a stay. Christina’s communication was excellent. The living area was adequate. The water temperature in the shower was very hard to control.
I know this is out of Christina’s control but thought it was worth mentioning. The neighborhood dogs bark all hours of the day and night. I would suggest bringing earplugs for an uninterrupted nights sleep.
We will have very wonderful memories of this fabulous vacation. Thank you. Christina!

Just returned from a fantastic time in Carvoeiro. The flat was amazing, absolutely perfect. Christina was brilliant with regards to contact and check in etc. Highly recommend staying here if you visit Carvoeiro. The roof top terrace is an added bonus and offers amazing views. Will definitely be back next year!

My partner and I stayed in this flat for five nights and really enjoyed our stay. The inside of flat itself isn’t beautiful but it has two porches and a rooftop from which to enjoy some stunning views. The apartment is on a hill, and the lovely views of the town and sunsets are well worth the effort to the top.
We found the flat much more convenient and comfortable than most holiday apartments. It’s spacious for two people, has cooling, a comfy bed and every amenity we needed.
We also appreciated that Christina was very friendly and communicative, check in was easy and the pool was an extra bonus. We would definitely stay again if we were ever back in this part of the world again.

A really lovely, spacious and well equipped property in a quiet but very central location. We have been visiting Carvoeiro for many years and stayed in a few different villas with family but needed something just for the 2 of us this year and this was perfect. Very tastefully furnished and decorated - and spotlessly clean too! The beautifully furnished roof terrace with its fantastic views was amazing and would be hard to beat! Communication with both Christina and Maria was excellent - both were immediately available when needed and hugely helpful. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Location, apartment, pool, quiet, private all absolutely perfect.
We forgot beach towels but Maria dropped some off for us, so kind.
She is the housekeeper who also was able to change her day around and gave us more time on our last day.

V nice complex, above but close to town, steep climb up to apartment won't suit everyone, but pretty quick. Well appointed apartment, neatly configured, the USP the great, well furnished roof terrace, where we spent most of our time when at the apartment. A second long terrace outside bedroom and living area also a bonus. We ate breakfast here quite often. The pool was close, and deserted much of the time, plenty of sunbeds. Weather was brilliant the whole time, so a very good holiday. Maybe a little more instruction? Didn't realise the white card on dining table gave access to pool, which was only a problem once, gate had been open rest of week. Minor. It was a great week, and we hpe to return next year.

Just returned from a great week in this apartment. We’ve rented many over the years and this is one of the best we have stayed in. It’s in a peaceful location, is brilliantly equipped, the bed is super comfy & is just perfect for a relaxing break on the wonderful roof terrace. Communication with Christine was great & I would thoroughly recommend to book it. Thanks for a fab stay.

Lovely well equipped apartment in a good location which completely met our expectations. It was great to have the balconies and the rooftop terrace was fantastic - we watched the sunset from there every night.

We loved everything about this spacious one bedroom flat at Colina Verde. We stayed there for 8 nights the last week of July. The place was immaculate when we arrived. The owners went out of their way to explain to us how to access the flat in the middle of the night. Communication with them was excellent. We rent a lot of holiday accommodation and this one is one of the best one we have ever stayed in. The many balconies were picturesque and the roof top terrace was the icing on the cake. The flat was very well equipped. We cooked a lot and spent all our evenings on the roof top terrace. The residence pool was big enough to exercice in and often we had the pool to ourselves . The walk to the beach was a pleasure (5-10min) downhill. We usually rent cars but we did not this time because prices have doubled because of Covid. Taxis were reasonably priced . It cost between 5 and 10 Euros to go to the nearby beaches. We highly recommend the boat trip to the caves from Carvaeiro. It was fun! The only disappointment was that there was no welcome drink in the flat when we arrived. It could be that the cleaner forgot to put a bottle of wine in the fridge. It was great to have air conditioning in the bedroom and the lounge. We can recommend this flat without any reservations.

Perfection
After an early morning flight, arriving at the door of the rental property is a moment of anxiety. Will it be a disappointment?
from the moment we entered Christina's apartment there were broad smiles on our faces. It was everything and more. It was so beautifully clean. The choice of decoration was tasteful and the quality of the furnishings was far better than any we have stayed in. Christina seemed to have thought of everything. Two terraces in a one bedroomed apartment is generous but the roof terrace was a magnificent extra. The views were wonderful. A perfect place to relax. Everywhere seemed to have been designed for comfort and ease. we loved it and would heartily recommend it.

Lovely week in May
The apartment is very nice and well equipped. Carvoeiro is a very pretty town, there are many restaurants in walking distance and a lovely fresh bakery to get the most jummie pastries. We very much enjoyed our relaxing stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation. The walk from town to the apartment is up a pretty steep hill, this could me a minor disadvantage for some.

Great stay
Just back from a five night stay. Very impressed. The apartment is spacious and equipped with everything you might need.
Good wi-fi. We didn't watch TV, but there are two TVs. Neither did we cook, as we had a lot of restaurants to catch up with after 30 months away, but there are full cooking facilities, and an indoor dining area.
Furnished balconies front and back mean you can eat or drink in the sun at any time in the day. However, the roof terrace was the icing on the cake. Table and chairs, sofa, plus sun loungers. Barbecue. The large canopy offers plenty of shade. The seagulls are interested but unagressive, unlike their Cornish cousins! One sat on top of the bird-scarer and watched us eat lunch.
On a hill, but if you don't get on with hills, perhaps choose Holland over Carvoeiro. The other side of that coin of course is that the views are spectacular. Honestly, we aren't young and we were up and down the hill without issues, two or three times a day. After the first go you will channel your inner Sherpa, and the clear calorie burning quality of the walk home makes for guilt free dining. In any case, if you really don't fancy it, taxis are plentiful and cheap.
Friendly, helpful owners. The apartment is as they describe it, and of a great standard. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Holiday in Carvoeiro
This apartment is as described in the property particulars - it was spacious, very clean and was well equipped.
It is in a quiet location but only a short walk from the beach, local bars and restaurants. It is on a small hill above the town which gives panoramic views of the area and down to the ocean. It has several terraces to catch the sun and admire the view including a large shaded roof terrace to relax and watch the sunset from.
The apartment owner, Christina, was very responsive and helpful during the booking process and our stay.
I would not hesitate to recommend this property and would definitely stay again next time we are in Carvoeiro.

Perfect place to stay in the centre of Carvoeiro
A beautifully maintained and well equipped apartment in a great location. Christina was very helpful and easily contactable at all times. Perfect for 2/3 people with comfortable bed, lots of storage space and access to a great pool area. However the best thing about the apartment for us was the fantastic roof terrace with comfortable seating, barbecue, dining table and amazing views over the town, and towards the sea. We have been coming to Carvoeiro for many years and this is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Would definitely recommend.

Magnifique appartement, très bien équipé, propre et confortable. Superbe vue sur le coucher de soleil tous les soirs de l'appartement et de la terrasse sur le toit qui est d'ailleurs splendide.
De plus il est très bien situé car l'accès au centre ville et à la plage se fait en moins de dix minutes à pieds.
La piscine est très propre et la résidence calme.
Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet appartement que je recommande vivement.

O apartamento é fantástico, muito confortável, com tudo o que é essencial e decorado com muito bom gosto. As vistas são fantásticas, tanto das varandas como do terraço. Este é adorável, para relaxar, para saborear um churrasco, ver a paisagem, as gaivotas, o por do sol, as estrelas... Sentimo-nos como em nossa casa.

Excellent Apartment
Booking this apartment without any previous reviews was a bit of risk but we have to stay it was probably the nicest we have ever stayed in. Booking was slick and when we had to move our dates due to flight changes the owners were very accommodating. It is obvious Christina and Mike have prepared the apartment with considerable thought and care and it had everything you would want and the website information is a true representation of what you get. A very quiet location just out of town. We particularly liked the large roof terrace which was great for sunbathing but had plenty of shade when needed. Would we stay there again - absolutely!
