About this house rental
Location! Location! Location! An original Grand Dame of Historical Cohasset Harbor is just waiting for you to come and enjoy all that this historical sea side town has to offer. Newly renovated, but still with its original charm, this 1848 village colonial has been updated and shows her glory with gorgeous hardwoods, fresh paint, comfortable and stylish décor that reflects the relaxed and beach town style of Cohasset. It has a fabulous third floor suite and a location that can't be beat! Be on your boat and on the water one street over, bike to Sandy Beach in minutes or enjoy Cohasset Village without ever getting in your car. Peek a boo views of the Harbor from the top two floors, private back yard with a glass 4 season porch. A rare property in a beautiful and desirable part of Cohasset just off Atlantic Avenue in a family neighborhood. The location offers you tranquility while being central to all Cohasset has to offer!
This property boasts 2271 sq./ft. of living and sleeps 8 comfortably with 3 bedrooms (king, queen and 3rd floor loft space with two queen beds that are perfect for kids/teens and open living. The third floor also has a large walk in closet that will have a twin size cot available if needed. There are bathrooms on all three floors (first floor half bath, second floor full bath and third floor full bath.). There is a large laundry room in the second floor with washer/dryer and a cedar closet for storage of sheets, blankets and towels.
The kitchen has everything that you would need for your stay in this inviting home.
There is an open floor plan (see attached) with living, kitchen and dining room —all leading into the four season atrium. There is also a cozy sitting room with fireplace and couch. So much natural light to sit and sip your coffee or read a book.
The entire front of the home has a beautiful deck with several sitting areas and a grill. Perfect for entertaining or a large family gathering. The front yard has enough room for corn hole, frisbee, badminton or relaxing on Adirondack chairs.
The property is walking distance to restaurants/bar, boutiques, coffee shops, bagel shop, a yoga studio, nail salon, Atlantica, Bia's, 5 South Main, French Memories, Salty Days, Red Lion Inn, yacht and sailing clubs, and Cohasset lobster pound.
The house is a block from the town docks where you can launch paddle boards and kayaks —all visible from the house.
The house is fewer than 20 miles to Boston and a short distance to Hingham Shipyard and several commuter rail stations.
Cohasset also hosts an incredible non-profit venue for live music and the arts called “Music Circus”. It is a bit over a mile from our home. The tent only hold a bit over 2,000 people so it is quite intimate. We would highly recommend taking advantage of this treasure.

Beautiful, clean, updated property in a nice area within walking distance of everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Pictures didn’t do the place justice! Beautiful home with charm and extremely quiet. Walking distance to downtown Cohasset was perfect. Food was fantastic with plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommend if you are looking for quiet and peaceful evenings

This is a beautiful home that is well cared for, clean, organized and comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to the harbor and into Cohasset village. The hosts were so accommodating, even leaving us a fresh bag of coffee and case of waters. The bedrooms were a great size with comfortable beds and bedding. We loved our time at the house and would love to stay here again.

We loved everything about our stay in this charming house and in the lovely town of Cohasset. We had a wonderful family wedding at the red lion in town and visited different places in Cohasset. Had breakfast at the French café and had lovely weather. I would call that perfect!

This property is a great vacation spot in an adorable little town. It is also a perfect launching spot for trips to Boston, Salem, Plymouth and the Cape. With atleast 4 adorable coffee shops, a French bakery "French Memories " and fantastic restaurants (Red Lion) within walking distance we could have stayed here the whole time. We loved reading with coffee in the cozy window space daily and relaxing with wine and fresh local bread and butter on the deck. We had an amazing time on the East coast, many memories made.

The home was very comfortable for our needs over a family wedding weekend. The proximity to town allowed everyone to leisurely walk for coffee and meals. Michael and Anne Marie gave us lots of suggestions for activities and places to explore. They are wonderful hosts.
We hope to be back!

This property is amazing. Michael was a wonderful and gracious.

We had a fantastic nearly weeklong stay and all loved it (ages 10-70+). The house was clean, airy and really comfortable for everyone to be in the same area without being on top of one other. Beds were comfortable, and bathrooms were aplenty. The outdoor seating was especially enjoyable in the afternoon. If you’re lucky, you can catch sight of a little bunny hopping in the yard.
As for the town, Cohasset is adorable. People are friendly. Cars are accommodating for pedestrians and cyclists alike. So walking into town for delicious French pastries and good coffee was a great way to start every morning (less than 10 minutes), and the bike ride to Sandy Beach (about 5 minutes) filled our afternoons. There are enough restaurants in town to rotate through without repeating, which was an added bonus.
Michael was incredibly responsive with questions. So between the house, the location, the town, the beach … our vacation was fantastic!

We had a great visit to Cohasset! Michael’s house is very welcoming and comfortable. Great location right near town and they were great hosts! We hope to return.

Wonderful house to stay in for our daughters wedding! Six of us arrived from out of town to attend a wedding in Hingham. This house fit our needs perfectly.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. The house was built in 1848 and has such unique charm and character, but with all modern amenities. Look forward to staying again.

We loved our stay in this house. The location is great and it's a short walk into town. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are clean and cozy. The kitchen is well appointed and the grill works great. The stairs to the third floor with the two queen beds are steep and narrow so be cautious.

Great location for walking to restaurants and shops. Easy check in and fast communication with Ann-Marie and Michael.

Had a great time catching up with friends at this home. Plenty of room to gather together and plenty of spaces to curl up with a book and nap. It was exactly what we were looking for, a relaxing beautiful space that was close to everything. Communications with owners were quick and easy. Thanks!

The house was perfect for our group ranging in age from 14 to 70+. We were able to relax and visit on the many comfy sofas in three different sitting areas and had a nice dinner at the large dining table. There is a modern kitchen and baths and most importantly, SUPER COMFORTABLE beds. It is close to town with coffee shops, a cute shopping area, and fabulous local restaurants.

Very comfortable and cozy property in a beautiful location. Cohasset village is easy walking distance with quaint cafes and shops. A highlight for us was biking along Atlantic Ave into Hull and through the beautiful Cohasset streets. The views were unmissable. Top experience all around!

Our stay was welcoming despite the harsh weather. Our hosts made sure we were well taken care of and that we enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved the third floor. Our whole family gathered for meals at the large table and watched holiday movies on the comfortable couches. The coffee left for us was a treat as well. We loved our stay and would recommend.

This home is absolutely perfect! Great kitchen set up. Perfect for feeding large groups. House has room for everyone to hang out & do their own thing but still have a feeling of being together. 4 season room is my favorite room in the house. Beds are super clean & comfy. Cherry on the cake is the walk downtown. 10 minutes to shops & restaurants. Will be booking here again.

This was a beautiful property-inside and out. Proximity to Boston was a plus! Lovely and comfortable. Wonderful messaging with the owner too. We loved our stay.

Our daughter was married at the Red Lion Inn. The house was 1/2 mile from the venue and suited our needs perfectly. My son, his wife, my daughter and one of her bridesmaids had more than enough space.

Fun, enjoyable and would rent the home again.

This beautiful home was a great fit for our family of 5 with older teens and a college age kid. Plenty of space indoors and out to hang out and relax and enjoy the picturesque Cohasset setting. The harbor walks were a daily delight for all and the short walk downtown for coffee was a treat as well. A longer walk to Sandy Beach was also a great way to exercise and enjoy everything the location has to offer. We also really enjoyed the well appointed kitchen and made good use of the many casserole dishes platters and large bowls to cook up some wings and put on a nice display of game time eats for the Pats game. We loved this house and all of its unique charm!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cohasset. The house is beautiful and comfortable, with plenty of space for family and friends to gather together, or spread out for some alone time. The location is fantastic - convenient to restaurants and shops. Ann-marie and Michael were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive, communicating with us before, during, and after our stay. One small maintenance issue was addressed within minutes. We will definitely consider a stay at this beautiful property when we visit the area in the future.

This is a beautiful, well-appointed, and comfortable home. The location is great - walk or bike to shops and restaurants. And the owner/property manager is super responsive and accommodating (thank you Ann-marie!).
As others have mentioned, the interior stairs are steep and narrow. If that's not a concern for you, this house is otherwise perfect and I highly recommend you stay here!

Friends and I stayed here for a night, catching up and going to a concert at the music circus. We walked to the concert with ease and could also walk downtown for coffee and breakfast the next morning. It was extremely clean, spacious and the deck was very nice. The hosts were very communicative and provided a lot of great information about the area ahead of time.

With plenty of room to spread out and with several sitting areas inside and out, the house was perfect for our family which included our young adult daughter and my mom. I loved having my coffee on the front deck each morning. The house is in quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Cohassets shops & restaurants. Though the home is older, it is well maintained and the decor was light and airy. We had some warm days towards the end of our stay and the many AC units did a great job of keeping the house comfortably cool. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you Ann-marie and Michael , your house was just the most perfect location for us and we really enjoyed our stay in Cohasset .

Lovely Home
We had a wonderful time. The owners were very responsive to any issues that came up. We enjoyed the new windows that were just installed. Kitchen had everything we needed (and we cooked a lot). Don't miss going to Jake's Seafood restaurant (in nearby Nantasket Beach). Overall, fun area to explore. Many nice beaches.

Lovely Property and Location
This home is exactly as pictured and has a wonderful New England feel in the house itself and location. We appreciated being able to walk to the harbor and village. Also, the main floor has a combination of being connected but with separate areas for dining, TV watching, reading, etc. I am always a fan of enclosed porches and sunrooms and this did not disappoint.

Great location! Met our needs for a week in between homes
We enjoyed our stay in this Cohasset home for one week while we were between selling our home in neighboring Hingham and moving into our new home. The owner was very responsive when we requested a card table to use as a desk since 3 of us were working remote. Nice of them to leave coffee and plenty of Bounty/Charmin etc! The internet was great! I loved the new bedding and towels and updated bright and beachy décor. My husband did not like the master King pillowtop mattress (he moved to another bed after one night) but I liked it! The second floor laundry room with new washer/dryer were very convenient. Although many parts of the interior are updated, the exterior needs paint badly and the deck needs sanding/painting...not great curb appeal. As with most antiques, there are quirks such as some windows not opening or able to stay open and there was no A.C. in the kitchen, glassed in room, baths and hallways which was noticeable to us since we were there during a heatwave. Also the main stairs have a low railing and the captain’s stairs to the third floor are steep and have no railings and I would not recommend having elderly folks or very small children sleep up there. The location is fantastic! With a little more TLC, this property will be a showstopper.

We enjoyed our stay with our young adult children. Plenty of space to spread out and share meals. Comfortable with the air conditioners.

My daughters and I had a wonderful time at this home! It is absolutely stunning- each room beautifully decorated. It also could not be more perfectly located- right at the heart of Cohasset Harbor. My daughters and I could easily walk to the center of town for breakfast or dinner. I could not say more about what wonderful hosts the owners are. Their communication through out the entire visit was perfect! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very short stay, but everything was just perfect
Great communication, each time I sent a message I got a response right away. Thank you very much for sharing your home with us. We all enjoyed the stay. The area is very beautiful.

Wonderful Retreat
We loved staying in this home! It was located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the area! It was close to the beach and there were several cute, quaint little shops and eateries within walking distance. The house close to so many different things too. We had easy access to Boston as well as all of Cape Cod. We drove up and down the coast during our time staying there. It was wonderful! The home was immaculate and the sunroom was absolutely amazing! There was plenty of room for all of us to just hang out and enjoy each others company. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with every dish and utensil that you could imagine! The home was recently renovated and suited our needs perfectly. This home felt very private and was nestled in a quiet neighborhood as well. The owners were wonderful and very attentive to our needs fir the entire week that we stayed. We will definitely go back to visit again!

This home is beautiful and nicely appointed with fresh linens and towels, etc. The home owners were a pleasure to work with from the booking process (I am new to this) to checking in and out. I just love the bright sunlight sunroom! i feel honored to have been the first guest to stay. i will say it won't be my last visit as this was a short visit for business, but ,my husband and I will most certainly be back for a longer stay as you cannot beat the location and beauty of this home! A+ stay all around. Highly recommend.
